This is me!

Well hello!

I'm very excited to have found Tmblr. I'm not one to talk about myself and so far have been very good at keeping my life and those in my life private.

BUT we are here to broaden our horizons and branch out to the uncharted world! So here I go!

I am a photographer by profession and have been doing so since 2012. I absolutely love it! Photography is the most diverse and yet stable art you can actually get into and maintain. I really don't think there is a burnout in art but I have heard it happens.

I started my photography journey in 2010 when I started classes at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online for my Bachelor's Degree for photography. My mom at the time was going through breast cancer and wanted physical documents of her rapidly changing body due to the massive amounts of surgeries she required. I was happy and excited to do this for her.

I started with boudoir and that then led on to weddings, senior portraits, and then family. I am not a strong editor as I lose patients lol but I have a staff of very creative and supportive editors and photographers who are passionate about their craft and are very talented at what they do!

I have been asked for years to teach photography to others and have done one on one sessions. I have even held a basic photography class to high school students. But now I am ready to take on a more productive approach to teaching and go online.
