Observing the world seem to come into existence as they go... It's...unusual, to say the least. Entirely alien, most likely hostile, yet not outside of the witch's purview to survive.

That's what she's done for decades upon decades, after all: she has survived.

She lowers herself as the "hedgehog" does, flying a good five or six feet above the ground in hot (heh) pursuit of Genny... Rather than following the loop as he did, she simply flies right past it, seeing no reason to bother with theatrics when she's here for a purpose.

..."Calammy" grates at her ears in a way she doesn't enjoy, yet can't entirely explain. It's best described as...he hasn't earned the right to nickname her, not yet. The cockiness of Xenogenesis, on the other hand is no doubt earned––with one this fast, it is perhaps unlikely that he has ever had anyone within his league in this world or any other––but if he's so intent on underestimating her...

"...Fine, then."

She lays Vehemence horizontally, sitting upon it as a witch would upon a broomstick––as magic gathers near its tip, erupting as a crimson laser of energy to propel her forward. In an ideal circumstance, the momentum granted by this maneuver will close the distance between the two...

Or, at the very least, force Xenogenesis to make a bit more of an effort.

What an interesting creature... In all her years as a witch, she has seen many things, some more absurd than others––yet never once has she been challenged to a game of tag. And in such a bizarre location, no less.

She is abruptly snapped out of her train of thought by the sudden booping, wincing slightly at the touch––not harmed, merely slightly startled. She hasn't the time to object, however, before the blue-and-red blur is gone, off like a shot.

Without much else to do, she summons Vehemence to her side, that gnarled staff that looks as if the tree it was carved from had every disease a tree could possibly have... And with a light tap of the thing on the ground, a sphere of brimstone fire surrounds the witch...

...And she flies off, to pursue the hedgehog. She's fast, but not as fast as Xenogenesis. Only one of them is built for speed above all else, after all. Though it certainly won't stop her from making an effort.

Thus, she proceeds, merely tailing the thing for now––watching, waiting, to see what it might do. Does it plan to cheat at this little game, or will it go about things fairly and justly? Either way is fine for the Brimstone Witch.
