Draedon isn't usually the type to call in an assist when it comes to technology. That man (if he can be called that anymore) has become increasingly reclusive since leaving the Godseeker’s side, devoting every waking moment to his never-ending research. He doesn't work with anyone unless he absolutely needs to...

So for him to call upon Calamitas's magical aptitude means something truly...interesting must be hiding in his machines.

So, she made it––despite his directions––and begins investigating the vast suite of computers at the engineer's disposal. If whatever's here ended up finding its way into any of the Exo Mechs, it could prove problematic––and though Calamitas holds no love in her heart for Yharim anymore, she does still respect Draedon enough to lend her aid when called.

i think the only lyrics of any song to ever CONSISTENTLY instill fear in me and give me goosebumps has to be the line "End of reasoning Carnage and pain, A feral sense of dominance, As all the blood melts into the rain" at the end of Stained Brutal Calamity.

really gives an insight into the war fought before the players existence and the intense reshaping of the earth around Yharim's whim and his actual corruption. also at the point this part is sung, you're SO close to being finished killing Supreme Calamitas that your heart is usually beating out of its fucking chest. so sick

Probably Supreme Calamitas. Banger theme, challenging but mostly fair, and I like the color palette. DoG has the best theme though, followed by Stained, Brutal Calamity, then in third place is Catastrophes before the Calamity

NICKNAME: None that she will permit anyone to call her yet.

TITLE(S):  Supreme Witch, Brimstone Witch

SPECIES: Demon.

SEX: Female.

NATIONALITY: Unclear if she has any such thing to speak of, though her voice actor has a British accent.

INTERESTS: Witchcraft, astronomy, astrology, tarot reading, palm reading, book reading, long walks through nature, cooking, knitting, various grandma activities.

PROFESSION: Witchcraft.

BODY TYPE: Gaunt and lithe, not much going on beneath the robes. Absolute stick figure of a woman.

EYES: Red-orange, like a blazing fire. If you stare into them for long enough you may even see them shift their hue, like the embers of a flame. As she grows calmer, they become yellower in their tint, and as she grows angrier they shift to become more scarlet.

FUR: She has none! Definitely! She has a tail beneath her robes. It's brownish with a tuft of fur at the end, structured almost like that of a rat or other rodent. But she would die before she let anyone see it.

HAIR: Stark white, shoulder length. Oft silky thanks to being well maintained, though there are days when she sinks into her sadness and forgets to care for herself. On those days, it becomes scraggly and knotted.

SKIN: Gray and craggy, with cracks in the epidermis as if it were made of stone. Notable horns upon her brow, ashy white and chalky in texture, yet hard and firm.

POSTURE: In all manners of interpersonal communication, she is straight-backed, dignified, perhaps even imperious––save for when she is alone, experiencing a moment of depression, or otherwise attempting to be vulnerable. In such a scenario, she becomes slouched and weary, letting the true weight of her world impress itself upon her shoulders.

HEIGHT: 190cm (6'2")

VOICE: As it happens, Calamitas already has a canon voice: Alice Kensington, or OtherButtons! It can be heard at the beginning of DM DOKURO's uploaded video of her theme, or if you want isolated vocals, this will do.

SIGNIFICANT OTHER: None currently, but she wouldn't be opposed to settling down if she found the right person. It might help her move on with her life.

COMPANIONS: Her life is a lonely one, now. Formerly she counted Yharim, Draedon and perhaps even the Devourer of Gods among her comrades, but... Not anymore.

ANTAGONISTS: The very same trio she once called friends, as well as any who would try to bring violence to her doorstep once again.

STRENGTHS: In the realm of brimstone magic, she has no equal––and in all other fields she remains an expert if not a master. Her ability to exert overwhelming offense is extremely high. In general, her capacity for violence remains incredible, despite herself. She is perceptive and possesses a keen eye for sorcery of all kinds. With her age has come wisdom, and she knows much of the world around her.

WEAKNESSES: Ironically, despite her specialties, Cal's heart has been quite frozen with time. She has trouble letting her emotions crack through the facade she has made for herself, which leads to some unsightly outbursts when she is pressed too hard. She is haunted by her past. In a sense, she has "given up" on herself, still believing herself a weapon that holds no capacity for love... Yet, in this, she is wrong.

FRUITS: Dragon fruit is her favorite. She will not explain why.

DRINKS: Tea. Specifically chamomile, with two sugars. No more, no less, to be added to the brew one after the other rather than together at once.

DRUGS: She drinks, on occasion––though not strongly. More so just wine and other classy drinks such as those.

DRIVER'S LICENSE: She can just fly. Also, I don't think cars exist in Terraria. Unless you count mounts, but, again... She can just fly.

It wouldn't be the first time someone was sent to kill her.

Frankly, she's surprised it doesn't happen more often- with the number of atrocities she's committed, the bounty on her head must be enough to ensure that whoever might claim it could live comfortably for the rest of their life. She's never bothered to check, so it's not like she can confirm or deny it, but- I digress...

As the Brimstone Witch makes her way through a rather arid place, largely unpopulated (so no worry of collateral damage), her heightened senses catch on to the fact that she's being followed.

Her gait slows, then stops- and without knowing from where her assailant will approach, she simply speaks into the open air.

"I know you're there. Don't make this more difficult for me."

She doesn't even need to ask, really, but... Why is he here? Is there a price on her head? For all she has done, she wouldn't be surprised. Or perhaps it's another matter... She has been wandering, trying to find herself. Is this merely a chance encounter? Maybe.

Then again... Calamitas is a demon. And we know how Guts so often feels about those, don't we?

Only one way to find out to what she owes the pleasure of this meeting. She looks over her shoulder at the man bearing the sword called Dragon Slayer. Eyeing him warily but not lashing out immediately, for perhaps she can get out of this without needing to spill blood. She'd rather not have it come to that, really...she's killed enough for many lifetimes.

"That sword reeks of demons' blood, you know. No doubt you have been busy."

Calamitas has long since had her fill of godly beings using her for their own ends––enough of that to last a very long lifetime. That has, of course, led to a profound distrust towards the gods––and that is to say nothing of the fact that, as a demon, she is inherently a profane and unholy thing.

If Amaterasu can prove herself different from the ones that came before her, those who would either exploit or shun her, then perhaps a rapport could be formed.

Honestly, just being nice to her would be a good start. Treat her like a person, not a weapon.

The brimstone archimage watches intently. This entity...no, this girl poses little threat to her, for her psychic lashings cannot possibly compare to the eternity of torture once levied upon her psyche. Compared to that, this is but a mild headache. Still, she grimaces slightly at the sensation, for though she is used to it, it is still far from welcome.

There shall be no retaliation, however––because even though it would take little effort to eliminate this wretched wraith, Calamitas knows what this is. She knows what's going on here.

She knows a curse when she sees it. Curses, after all, are an old and well-known friend to Calamitas.

So, weathering the mental assault, she strides forward. Slowly, gently––so as not to appear threatening. (Though her appearance as a horned, rocky-skinned demon may already have her fail to seem so, in that regard.)

She knows what she would want to do, were she back in that position... Helpless, angry, vengeful, cursing the curse that plagues her so deeply... She would want to lash out. So... She kneels down a bit, to be more level with the onryō, and says with the gentlest voice she can muster...

"Go on. Get it out of your system."

Not spoken as a taunt, no––but as an offer. Calamitas can take it, after all. And... Well, to a certain degree, she feels she probably deserves a good beating, after all she's done.

She still hasn't forgiven herself.
