A slight blush covered her pale cheeks causing her to shake her head as if to get rid of the color. “I-I don’t need your aid, Lord Sesshoumaru.” she clumsily stumbled out, “All I need you to do is get rid Naraku once and for all.” his name rolled off her tongue like poison–he was the one obstacle standing between her and what she truly wanted.
