as a cis guy, when presented with the "99% you get a ton of money, 1% you turn into a girl" it honestly would be dumb to not hit that button until it breaks. like ok now i have 100 bajillion dollars and gender dysphoria. big deal. i have all the money in the world to turn me back into a guy. like with that kind of money i could have obama do me a phalloplasty. he wouldnt be able to do it as he isnt a surgeon but the point still stands

texas is funny. this one time a guy(in his truck) yelled at me(outside)(in summer) for wearing a cowboy hat(to provide shade)(while working)(in the sun) while i was working in the garden (in summer)(in texas)(on a sunny day)
sorry i’m a #FakeCowboy for wearing a cowboy hat(in the summer)(in the sun)(while working)(in a garden) instead of wearing my cowboy hat(meant for working)(in the sun) while driving a truck(air-conditioned) like a #RealCowboy who does Manly Work (with his truck)(spotless)(unblemished)(with AC)

i too also wish cr fans would realize that they have an issue with laura and not the art team. people bending over backwards to blame artists as if we have not seen evidence of how ALL the cast (except maybe Ashley) really care about character designs. Even Matt knew he had to do the predathos body a certain way as the 1st thing Laura asked him was if the monster was hot. Guys you are mad at the cast, say that. You are more likely to get different body types from Marisha.
While I disagree about Ashley (who put a LOT of thought into both Fearne and Yasha's designs), I do agree with your overall point that this is not a problem exclusive to Laura. Most of the cast consistently makes their characters thin; I can't think of a single Taliesin character who isn't, save perhaps for Dante Terrapin. But this goes along with what a lot of people, myself included, have been saying for years: fans (quite rightly!) don't want to be like the misogynistic Reddit chuds, but they're so skittish about even the superficial appearance of it that they go to the opposite extreme of refusing to so much as express mild disappointment in any of the women of the cast. And yet it's impossible to like or agree with any person's actions 100% of the time, so when these fans don't agree with a decision, they will instead avoid acknowledging the player's agency in it at all.
In this case: fans do not want to confront the fact that Laura Bailey brings a lot of skill and thoughtful character arcs to the table and is also incredibly conventional. Every single one of her player characters is excellently roleplayed and is also meant to be "hot", and that "hotness" manifests itself as skinny and feminine every time. Imogen's subclass reskins the original Aberrant Mind from the slimy and tentacled version from Tasha's Cauldron to a cool lightning motif, solely because Laura didn't want to look gross. When musing in a Fireside Chat that Vex could have been interesting as a paladin, her immediate follow up was "but like a hot paladin, in a dress". Rather than engaging honestly with the implications of all that, people keep complaining that "they" made Jester skinny, whoever "they" are. At best it just ends up being an unproductive "who could possibly be responsible for this, I guess we'll never know"; at worst it ends with official artists getting harassed into privating their social media as if it's their fault (see: Ariana Orner).
You have two options here: either Laura is an exceptional actress who does great character work and also has some unconscious biases that are reflected in how she wants those characters to look, or Laura's friends and coworkers that she's been collaborating with for years don't respect her enough to give her a say in how her character looks. Which one is more respectful to her as a person? Because it's not the one that denies her agency and makes her look like she's friends with a bunch of patronizing assholes.

may be a hot take but i think the fact minors can access 18+ content by just clicking a button that says 'yes im totally over 18 trust me' is like. totally fine tbh. its a non-issue. i dont care if curious teenagers are looking at porn. they've been doing that for as long as porn has existed. id rather teens explore their sexuality through images on the internet than rush into real life experiences when they're not ready for it yknow. the UK is trying to put stricter age verification in place (which in turn is becoming an online privacy nightmare) and like. for what. who is it helping. why is this a problem.

"Don't blame itch for this!!! It's the payment processors and lobbyists! Even Steam bent the knee!!"
Nah. No. I think I can blame all of them. This happens every time. A storefront or site says they're NSFW friendly, they're a home for the freaks, the perverts, the weirdos. They court an audience and communtiy for it, then rip it all away and burn the bridge without warning.
So yeah, I think I will be mad at itch thanks. I don't care if they're "only 25 people". Stop boot licking corporations no matter how small and charming they appear to be. They could have given notice. They chose not to. They're holding payments, they're removing bought items from your library. Sorry, not sorry, they deserve this backlash.
At least tumblr gave us all a few weeks warning. Fucking bare minimum behavior. Imagine not even doing that.
(And yes, of course, raise your voices to the credit card companies, to the payment processors. They're the ones with the strangle hold on what content we are "allowed" to buy with our own fucking money.)

Fairy: Hey I didn’t get your name.
Me: Yeah that was on purpose.
Fairy: Oh my god stealing people’s names has been categorized as a war crime for like a hundred years. Do I seem like the kind of fairy that would do war crimes?
Me: Well yes, but that’s just my impression of you personally. Not fairies in general.
Fairy: You’re smarter than I thought.

People who perform manual labor should be not only given high and liveable wages, but unlimited access to healthcare and physical therapy to help manage the myriad conditions that come from doing back-breaking work.
Like this is not an absurd concept. It bothers me that people think that it is.
