《Sasuke Retsuden》 

[TRANSLATION]

- A lakeside near the research facility, the married couple continues their mission -

With a smile on his face he looks at her side profile, her eyes shine brightly like that of a child’s.

“I also want to show Sarada this scenery.”

“Sakura”

Sasuke begins speaking awkwardly.

“Do you want a ring? Not the kind made from chakra, after returning to the village…..a normal ring.”

Words were getting mixed and becoming illogical, but Sakura understood what he meant.

“Hmmm.” she ponders deeply.

“I want one…..but rings are probably not suitable with my hand.”

She smiles wryly, covering the moon with her palm.

Her hands that had become rough due to disinfectant solutions are proof that Sakura had saved the lives of many shinobis. Sasuke felt proud of this, he very much like how serious her eyes are while working. Her careful and delicate hand gestures when treating the injured, the way she gently rolls up her sleeves when concentrating on chakra. As well as writing down notes on medical records after an examination. Seeing her passion for research and using ways different from himself to expand the village, he felt very happy.

“When I’m not at home, feeling concerned if someone will take away the place that I belong. These are things I never thought about.”

Sakura responds back with a nod.

“There are times that I worryingly think, when I finally return, seeing Sarada grow taller, seeing your hairstyle change slightly.”

“I’m the same, I also think about these things. For example, when will wrinkles appear under Sasuke-kun’s eyes.”

“Are there wrinkles?”

“A little~ when you smile. It’s very cool, not bad at all.”

Sasuke actually getting offended that people think Sakura is single.

Sasuke making a ring out of his chakra with a ruby to make sure that nobody makes that mistake.

Sasuke casually dropping the she's my wife bomb.

Several times.

In case you don't know, Sakura is his wife.

He will remind you of that until the rest of eternity and perhaps even after that.

Sasuke nearly begging Sakura to leave because it's dangerous but apologises when he realises that he insulted her abilities as a ninja.

He adores her eyes when she's concentrating on healing people.

Yess you heard right Sasuke Uchiha adores his wife's eyes.

Sasuke being goddamn proud of the fact that Sakura's fingers even though rough with calluses have saved so so many lives.

He's proud of his wife okay?

His wife.

Sasuke waiting for cherry blossoms to bloom because it reminds him of Sakura (Asdfghjkl!!)

He literally spends hours waiting for flowers to bloom because of Sakura's hair colour (oh my god).

Cool calm collected Sasuke who is said not to love his wife (because of course anti's) having a near panic attack when he thinks she's in danger.

Oh yes Sasuke doesn't care.

Not at all.

Yet literally digs through rubble to find her.

Eff the mission, his wife is hurt.

He performs healing jutsu on her.

Carries her.

Wipes away her tears.

As long as Sakura is by his side, it's enough.

Sakura is his wife and that's the never changing truth.
