Virtual Study Abroad!
Berlin Summer 2021- Andrew Wood and Tabitha Hart from San Jose State University
Spend Summer 2021 in Berlin
Rock star David Bowie called Berlin "the greatest cultural extravaganza that one could imagine." Now you can experience that extravaganza in a five-week, six-unit virtual study abroad program. Our online course will have a dual focus. In the first part of the course, you will learn about the concept of cultural memory, and how it is playing out in society today. In the second part of our course, we will look ahead to Berlin's bright future in the realm of contemporary culture. This program will be offered in a fully online mode, which means that we are not traveling to Europe in the summer. One positive result: a convenient and low-cost opportunity for you.
Application Deadline March 22, 2021
Courses include:
COMM 193 (3 units) & COMM 195 (3 units)
Cost: $1,700
Course Date: June 1 - July 2, 2021

“When the going gets tough, put one foot in front of the other and just keep going. Don’t give up.”
During this important time in our lives and one of the most difficult, we must remember to keep going an never give up on anything. It only goes up from here and there are many blessing awaiting us.
