Petition to have Tumblr actually do something about porn blog bots following users.

• It’s annoying. • It gives an imperfect metric for how many followers you have. (I would estimate about 25% of my “followers” are porn blogs run by bots). • It makes pulling up your activity page iffy even if you use Tumblr strictly for SFW content. • It’s problematic for individuals who have struggled with sex and/or pornography addictions, especially since many of the blog names are not obviously porn names, causing you to preview the blog. • It exposes minors to illegal and harmful content.

And to many of us: • It’s disgusting. • it’s degrading to human beings, especially women. • It makes Tumblr a less classy, less reputable place.

Please share this if you agree this is a serious problem.

S2 Finale Promo!

What’s up SVTFOE people, and WHAT about those promos? I’m gonna tear down the “Starcrushed” promo, bearing in mind some details from the other one (which I’m NOT analyzing right now), and let you know what I’m thinking. So! Let’s get started!

First and foremost, we are greeted with Star, quite literally sliding in on Jackie and Marco.

Now, I don’t think this is too critical. More than anything, I would venture to guess that this is simply Star saying “Hey, Marco’s got his arm around Jackie and I don’t like it!” So she slides in. Don’t tell me you wouldn’t!

The next scene of importance: “Everything just got really weird with Star...”

Now, we don’t know yet WHAT happened in “Face the Music” and “Just Friends,” but I’d be willing to bet that their holding hands relates to that concert. The memory comes up, they both know that they kinda like each other (possibly, its more likely that Marco is aware of Star’s feelings for him, but I’ll come back to that later), and it’s all just awkward. Look at this specific scene with Jackie though:

Next scene of importance! The screen flashes this scene in inverted colors:

Now, look at that: That is DEFINITELY not the happy Marco we saw in Bon Bon. I’m not even going to throw in my speculation on that, or we’d be here all day. It is however, immediately followed up by this scene:

Speculation: Star turns around to see Jackie kissing Marco, something that Marco, is not comfortable with (Things are weird between them already, this wouldn’t help.)

Realistically: Given the background of string lights and lanterns, Star is already at the slightly more “dangerous” bash. See this photo:

Now, I didn’t get screenshots here, but Mr. Diaz asks Marco, “Where is your partner in crime?” and Marco responds with a slightly guilty face. To me, that means that Marco knows to a degree that something’s wrong. Moving on!

On top of linking these two scenes together, I want to point out something sneaky that Disney did. It looks to me like Disney lens-flared out the face of whoever is sitting next to Star before she pulls out her wand. Coming back to that later, it’s probably Oskar Greeson.

Change in focus! Suddenly, Heckapoo, Omnitraxus, Moon, and Leckman break down the door to a castle, which is now either entirely Toffee’s, or Toffee/Ludo’s. To pull the rest of this scene together, later in the promo we see Toffee speaking to Moon, who looks to be in battle attire in all scenes.

“Hello, Moon.”

From there though, we see everyone saying each-other’s name. “Staarrr!”, “Marco...” “Jackie...” “Oskar?” In order:

“Staarrrrr!” Marco says -- Can’t tell whether this is before or after she decides to leave to the other bash, but clearly, Marco feels a little awkward talking to star, and She’s a little peeved at him. Might be the morning after (Different outfit makes me think so)?

“Marco...” Star says -- Now, maybe this is the point of reckoning where Star and Marco talk about everything that’s been going on. This is still on the night of the bash, but who knows.

“Jackie...” Marco says -- This looks to be an important scene. Remember from earlier how I told you to remember a picture similar to this? Jackie was holding the nachos. I think that perhaps this is Marco saying “I gotta do something about Star.” The Starco trash in me wants to think that its him saying “I’m sorry, but I dunno if I can keep doing this,” but Jackie’s such a nice character I don’t know that I can see him just breaking it off.

“Oskar?” Star says. -- I’m assuming that this is after star ditches the Diaz’s party, and arrives at the other bash. Who else is there, but someone to take her mind off of the strain in her relationship with Marco but Oskar Greeson, y’know? Perfect setup. 

Speculation, again: Marco and Star spend the nights trying to find alternatives to each other, but by the end of the night, they realize that they’re approaching their problems all wrong.

And now, what the entire Fandom is losing their crap over:

Marco, if you don’t leave right now, I may leave for good. -SB

Now, whether or not it’s a hollow threat, I can’t tell. The scene that accompanies it though gives us a little insight.

Star: “ Marco, if you don’t leave right now, I may leave for good. ” -- BTDubs, they’re on the stairs. Things have probably escalated and this is their “talk,” or at least one portion of it.

We then see Marco, a worried expression beginning to form on his face. Whether or not Star is serious, that’s worrying, and is undoubtedly kinda hurtful. Giving how much their relationship has developed since they met, that’s probably the last thing he wants is his best friend to just up and leave.

Now as we end this scene, we immediately see these heart wrenching images:

Now, this scene isn’t what we think we’re seeing: She’s in Muny, as evidenced by the multiple moons, and change in scenery. It’s a possibility that she already left Earth, and is just going on a late-night cloud ride, or she’s thought better of leaving the Diaz family. Who knows, again. Now, I think it’s important to note that we’re not getting the full scene here. Clearly she’s talking to somebody inside the window, but we don’t know who, and we’re missing a lot of details, so it really IS impossible to draw any sort of conclusion. Besides, this could very well be a scene from “Face the Music,” and not “Starcrushed.”

Oh yeah, and Ludo is questioning what our favorite Glossaryk is doing - He’s clearly been Rhombulized. And is in shambles. Boy, Toffee did a number on him.

tl;dr: Starco fans, don’t worry; even if we don’t see a romantic relationship form between them in Starcrushed (which I think may or may not happen, it could go either way), STARCO IS NOT totally hopeless. At the very least, this will force them to acknowledge how they feel about each other. Jarco fans have some reason for concern, but its been relatively apparent since BBTBC that she’s not only a critical character, but is also used as a plot device, to further the relationship between Star and Marco, and I’m pretty sure that we’re seeing JUST that happen next week. Let me know what y’all think.
