I'm not big on shipping for obvious reasons, but my ships in Star Vs. were Jarco and TomStar, because both had proper history story-wise (Marco was in love with Jackie for like a decade, and Star and Tom were exes but eventually got back together).

Starco, in a romantic sense, was all kinds of wrong since day one. Because of the Blood Moon Curse, the entirety of Booth Buddies, the fact that Marco rapidly aged up into a 30+yo man in the Neverzone, and the fact they've commited genocide on a multiversal scale.

And sorry not sorry, if you have to compromise the whole quality of your story just to please a bunch of whiny brats with a terminal case of the shippies, then your story is absolute horse shit and I do not respect you as a writer/showrunner at all.

Families from Algol and the Dimensional Disaster. In order we have a Startom with Princess Algol, Starco with Princess Selena and Jarco with Citlali. 

Star with tom doesn’t change al lot in her personality, she is still wearing her bright colors. Star with Marco is a little bit more mature, she uses blue in honor to her mother and Marco and Jackie have a reaaly relaxed relationship. they spend a lot of time with her “bright” Citlali, being really suportive with her.
