The UK just had a heatwave that had me using my "grew up on a tropical island" tricks. This is absurd. And its only going to get worse. And none of the UKs anything is built for this: the houses hold onto heat, A/C is not the default, windows open sideways so no chance of putting in a window unit in. I left the damn tropical island to get away from this bullshit heat dammit.

But of course the government is scrapping Net Zero commitments. Of course.
