Crochet Eagle Pattern (not officially pattern tested)
Material needed: three colors of yarn plus some black for the pupil of the eyes, scissors, stitch markers, darning needle, 4 mm crochet hook and stuffing.
Body (have two colors; refer to A and B)
Start in color A
Magic circle then 6 single crochet inside it (6)
Increase in every stitch (12)
Increase, 1 single crochet in the next stitch, repeat until end (18)
Increase, 2 single crochet in the next stitch, repeat until end (24)
Increase, 3 single crochet in the next stitch, repeat until end (30)
6-12. Single crochet into every stitch (30)
13. Decrease, 3 single crochet, repeat until end (24)
14. Decrease, 2 single crochet, repeat until end (18)
Switch to color B
15. In color b, one single crochet into 1st stitch, one spike crochet into the 2nd stitch, repeat until the end (18)
16. Single crochet into each stitch (18)
17. increase, 2 single crochet in the next stitch, repeat until end (24)
18. Increase, 3 single crochet in the next stitch, repeat until end (30)
19-24. single crochet in all stitches (30)
25. decrease, then 3 single crochet, repeat until end (24)
26. decrease, then 2 single crochet, repeat until end (18)
27. decrease, then 1 single crochet, repeat until end (12)
28. decrease in each stitch and then fasten off
Beak (in color C)
Magic circle and put 4 single crochet into it (4)
2-3. single crochet into each stitch (4)
4. Increase twice into the first two stitches, then single crochet into the last 2 stitches, fasten off and leave a long tail to sew to body (6)
Eyes (make two in the color C)
Make a magic circle and then 6 single crochet into it (6). Slip stitch into the first single crochet and fasten off. Add a line into the middle of the circle with black yarn (or with any color you want)
Eye Lid (make in color B)
Chain 6, slip stitch in second chain from the hook, half double crochet into the next chain, treble crochet into the next chain, half double crochet into the next chain, and then slip stitch into the next chain.
Feet (make in the color C)
make a magic circle, put 6 single crochet into it (slip stitch into the first stitch so you have a complete circle)
(Note: you won’t complete the second row as you only use three stitches of the 1st row) Chain three, single crochet into the second chain away from the hook
Wings (make two in the color A)
Make a magic circle, put 6 single crochets into the magic circle (6)
Increase in every stitch (12)
Increase, 1 single crochet in the next stitch, repeat until end (18)
Half double crochet in the first stitch, double crochet in the next stitch, (treble crochet, double treble crochet, treble crochet) in the same stitch, double crochet in the next stitch, half double crochet in the next stitch, single crochet in the next stitch, and then slip stitch and fasten off.
Sew all of the pieces onto the eagle. When you sew on the beak onto the main body, I recommend using some extra yarn to stitch two little lines on either side of the beak to give it more definition. Stitch on little half arrows on the belly with a separate piece of yarn if you want.

Just a little update of what I’m working on

I like to make gifts during the summer because it gives me time to think them through and make them.

I'm happy with the overall outcome, but I'm sad that I had to use a different shade of yarn for the hairpiece, arms, legs, and ears. This thing is fucking huge! I have to hold it with both hands to safely carry it around. The yarn was a bit of a challenge to work with, but after a while it got easier. The smaller the piece is, the harder it is to work with the furry yarn. Also, I don't think I will take this project apart in the future just because it's so hard to see where the stitches are, where the start and ending areas are, and where you sewed the extra parts down.
The Jigglypuff pattern came from the book Pokémon Crochet: Bring your favorite Pokémon to life with 20 cute crochet patterns by Sabrina Somers. (Here is a Amazon link: not sponsor https://www.amazon.com/Pok%C3%A9mon-Crochet-favourite-crochet-patterns/dp/1446308332)
The yarn is the Fairy Tale Fur yarn (Link, not sponsor: https://www.knitpicks.com/fairy-tale-fur-value-packs/g/FabFurVP)

What you think

I had an idea that I can put yarn on a canvas. I think it could work if I didn’t cover the canvas in a thin layer of white paint and if I use a smaller needle.

This is Bong Bong from Lobotomy Corporation. Actually, Bong Bong isn't even a real character from the game. She is from a game through by a YouTuber. She is kinda like a meme character and I love her.

I don’t regret anything

Basically, I cut up some dollar store stuff animals, did a blanket stitch around them, and then crocheted around the stitches. The backing was a little smaller than I wanted but I made it work.

She loves it. I knit the main portion of the blanket. I crochet a single crochet and ripple stitch for a border.

Crochet Faust

I’m super happy with how this turned out. I’m definitely going to do the other characters. I start with Faust because her design is simple.
