the “stir the pot” translation is the first one I encountered in subtitles, I think, but this made me revisit the quote from the book as well (chapter 86, in narration rather than dialogue):

Hamiathes's Gift Exchange 2025: Schedule Announcement!

The schedule is here, and well ahead of time this year! We're kicking off in about three months, and the schedule will be relatively close to last year's. Lymond/Jerott... reunion of friends gone poorly, endearments, a concussion, baby chicks, multiple unnecessary wrestling matches, a promise, and a sweet moment of resolution that actually sticks. Also they're both alive at the end.

Lymond/Adam... do it for Adam Blacklock! You've drawn me hundreds of times. So much understanding! (no offense to Jerott. actually plenty of offense to Jerott <3) They're also both alive at the end. Great.

Messing around during downtime at work today getting used to my new tablet and figuring out some of the brushes and features of FireAlpaca --> First piece of fanart I've done in ages. Titular character from the book Queen of Attolia. Extremely quick and dirty, but I'm pretty happy with how it came out. Mostly just practice to see how my new bluetooth tablet works/figure out some brushes. "Like a Printer's Apprentice on a Barstool" is not usually how one describes Irene, but I couldn't get the image of her in this posture out of my head so here you go anyway.
