Its been almost a full year since I was last on Tumblr. A lot has changed within that long while; between leaving a toxic work environment, finding a new job, working nonstop throughout the pandemic this far, having a Covid scare, family drama, and almost losing my best friend to an aortic dissection have all culminated to a rather eventful year. I was unable to log on to Tumblr on my laptop and iPad and it wasn't until fairly recently I was able to recover my password. Upon opening the app for the first time in ages, it feels surreal. Many of the old blogs I once followed are essentially dead, aside from a handful that still post on a regular schedule. There are so many of my old Tumblr friends that are no longer active.
I have mostly moved my operations to Reddit, where I post on various urbex related subreddits on a regular basis. Truth is, I had grown tired of Tumblr as a whole and the toxic atmosphere that had grown over the years. As I struggled to juggle several social media accounts for my history and urbex material, I realized it was time to let several of those accounts go. This included Instagram, Tumblr, my YouTube channel, Twitter, and to a lesser extent, my photography page on Facebook. I still explore, but not as much as I used to.
Sadly, all good things must come to a close. As of now, I have been using this blog as an archive of sorts for my Reddit posts.

Heaven’s Gate Suicide
Heaven’s Gate was a group of people that were led by Marshall Applewhite. It was a religious group that thought the Eart was about to be “recycled” and the only way to survive this was to leave ASAP. They decided to commit mass suicide. They believed if they committed mass suicide, they would be transported to a space-ship that was following the Hale-Bopp comet.
They also decided to wear the same brand of Nike Shoes (as seen in the pictures)
