Just started reading Radiant Black, and I think Nathan Burnett and Marshall Ward should kiss, actually. I KNOW if this comic was more popular, there'd be so much gay fanfiction of them out there 😞

Another day, another fake variant cover :)
I wish I’d been able to finish this just in time for her birthday but adult responsibilities called 🫠
Anyway! I’m really satisfied with the end result. I’ve been putting myself more out there with backgrounds and for once they actually turn out how I imagined them in my head

Where y'all get that Bruce and Talia have opposing morals from?
Let me break it down, Bruce hates killing and Talia also hates killing but she kills when necessary. Otherwise she canonically uses anesthetic.
Here's thing with the Brutalia moral discussion, you can't pull up a comic written by Grant Morrison or a comic/movie inspired by their writing to prove your point. Why? Because Grant Morrison wrote Talia as a completely different character and gave Brutalia a completely different origin. That same origin and those same situations involving Brutalia has been retconned. Grant Morrison has admitted to their mistake (Wizard Magazine issue 182).
If you want to speak about why Brutalia didn't work out you need to refer to comics in which they were together and comics in which they separated.
Brutalia's biggest issue has always been Ra's. Brutalia was very happy and very emotional.
I remember this one comic which some people refer to when bringing up the fact that Dick doesn't like Talia, in the comic Talia shot a man. People said she killed him but literally after she shot him she told Bruce it was anesthesia immediately after.
Talia's first appearance was her breaking down crying after killing a villain that kidnapped her and Bruce to save Bruce's life. Bruce comforted her, Talia and Bruce had s strong connection from the start.
People may mention the fact that Talia hid Damian and Jason from Bruce in the differing morals discussion.
Originally, Talia gave Damian up for adoption. Neither she nor Bruce were supposed to have Damian, Brutalia was meant to get back together and get Damian back from the couple that adopted him but they scraped the comic. Consequently, Brutalia's story in Son of the Demon comics is incomplete because their story was set up to follow the path of opening up a new comic in the series. What people seem to forget is that one of the reasons Talia gave Damian up was to protect Bruce because this man was lowkey putting himself in danger and at the same time considering to give up Batman I believe.
If Talia and Bruce had differing morals, Bruce would be dead. Some comics showcase that, it's not just Talia's love that helps and protects Bruce, it's also her morals.
If Brutalia had differing morals, Jason would have been running amuck in Gotham much sooner. Yes people are going to bring up that awful Jason and Talia storyline but guess what, J. Winick has said he regrets writing it multiple times.
When people say Brutalia has differing morals they are thinking about Ra's and the league of assassins. Talia was introduced as a med student, girl was just trying to live her life.
Talia is not Ra's, Ra's and Bruce have differing morals not Bruce and Talia. Talia was a spy, it is now in modern adaptations of her character they have made her an assassin. Talia is still a spy actually, most of league of assassins missions you see in comics are her discussing business and threatening people. Other than those comics who desperately want to depict her as a female version of Ra's.
If Brutalia had differing morals Talia would not have betrayed Ra's so much. There's literally a panel of Talia and Ra's sitting around the dinner table with Talia just casually telling her father she has betrayed him to help Bruce.
Talia is not Ra's. Talia is not Ra's. Talia is not Ra's. Talia is not Ra's. Talia is not Ra's. Talia is not Ra's. Talia is not Ra's. Talia is not Ra's. Talia is not Ra's. Talia is not Ra's. Talia is not Ra's. Talia is not Ra's. Talia is not Ra's. Talia is not Ra's. Talia is not Ra's.
Stop confusing the two. Yes she's his daughter but they are not the same person.
Brutalia didn't work out because of the miscarriage situation (what I mean is why Talia faked the miscarriage) and Ra's (I need to make a separate post in why it doesn't make sense).
In conclusion, Brutalia has the same morals.
