Things keeping me alive: • 16 meds a day • 3 emergency medications on me at all times • an ambulance, usually every few weeks for emergency treatment • 10 seperate specialists spread over 5 different hospitals • Regular appointments with a GP for god knows how much stuff • Disability aids including wheelchairs, braces, seizure helmets, crutches, house adaptations, monitors and other medical supplies • Mental health support regularly • Frequent medical tests . . . . Yknow what I'd be if i lived in the US? Dead. Theres no way we could afford to keep me going. Im incredibly lucky i wasnt born in the us. It's sad that i even have to make this post, but unfortunately, after the FB page had a big influx of right-wingers invading, it's become necessary. I'll be blunt. If you come to this page to troll, you'll just be blocked. It's as simple as that. You aren't adding to the discussion by spewing hate aimlessly. As you know by this entire pages aesthetic, I'm disabled. In real life I have carers and am constantly unwell. I do not have the physical energy to reply to trolls, so that is the decision I have made for my own mental wellbeing. If you're asking genuine questions with an open mind, by all means, ask, just don't expect me to reply to hate. Thats all I'm saying. Please remember that you are speaking to an actual person behind the screen, not just an online presence. I am a human being, just like you are, and if you can't treat me as one, don't bother commenting.
