Atomic Habits: An Easy & Proven Way to Build Good Habits & Break Bad Ones by James Clear
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
If you feel like between the pandemic and your pandemic-associated-languishing and/or depression your day-to-day life is slowly shredding apart, I cannot recommend this book enough. This book really helped me carve a path out of the slump I felt I was in. It wasn't condescending at all, and it definitely wasn't just for neurotypicals. It's packed with small, easy things to do that snowball into larger and larger lifestyle change, just as the 1% premise states. Truly life-changing material.

Trans Wizard Harriet Porber and the Bad Boy Parasaurolophus: An Adult Romance Novel by Chuck Tingle
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This had absolutely no right to be as good as it was. Not only was it a funny-as-fuck indictment of you-know-who, it was genuinely an enjoyable and emotionally-deep story. Harriet was bomb and I'd love to be her friend, but she still felt real and complex. I was rooting for her. The name jokes were my favorite aspect to this entire shindig. I was always excited for the next side-character's introduction to see who was being spoofed on next. In conclusion, I don't know how something can so clearly be written using only the HP books and a set of D&D dice and still be this poignant.

I described By Grand Central Station I Sat Down and Wept as the world’s longest subtweet and my TA laughed so now I’ll have to accept that I’ll never say something so genius again for the rest of my life.

Create the vague secret society you want to be hidden from the world.
not to be dramatic but when will i join a secret society that exists vaguely timelessly where everyone communicates with pretentious quotes
