FFXV characters playing FFXIV

- Part 2: Prompto -

Note: Follows on from this post. All the characters were meant to be in one post but I got carried away 😅. Other characters.

Prompto:

Starts off as a kinda generic looking male character, which becomes increasingly more customised as he progresses

The player who uses the same job for the whole MSQ

Buys emotes and chocobo bardings off the cash shop

The one that gets targeted by all the AOEs

The designated photographer that takes the celebratory group shot after a raid clear, etc. A gposer, if you will

Won one of the official screenshot contests and got the Cloud hairstyle

Very unlucky when he tried dyeing his chocobo. It turned Ochu Green the first time

Keeps his chocobo summoned at ALL times

Attends venues and community events often, occasionally dragging the others (esp Noctis) along

Only cares about "shiny weapons" for the looks, not stats

Most likely to become a fantasia or alt addict

Has long ass party chat emote macros on hand, and of course shortcuts for many normal emotes

Has stolen the LB3 (level 3 Limit Break) despite only playing ranged jobs. And he'll do it again

Will snipe you from 50 yalms in PVP

The first to meet Aranea in-game, back when he was a newbie. She gave him some helpful pointers

Notes:

-If someone was gonna mess up their chocobo's dye job, it'd be Prompto. I tried to pick a chocobo colour that looked and sounded unflattering. I could've gone with Morbol Green but idk /shrug

-I gave Prompto good real life luck (minor) and bad game luck (also minor). He did win one contest though, so it's not all bad.

-I doubt Noctis would care much about the venues, etc. but probably tags along as morale support. Gladio might enjoy the clubbing venues? That or think they're inferior to real life bars lol.

-I think the only time when Prompto wouldn't be "trigger happy" and use the group's LB3 (MCH for him) is if Cor's there haha. Or if it was required for a mechanic (tank LB3) or mass resurrection (healer LB3).

-All the titles I've chosen for each character are ones that 1) sound suitable, AND 2) seem feasible for them to obtain. Prompto gets the easy to obtain (e.g. unlocked during the story) and cutesy titles. I don't think he'd obsess over them unlike some of the others.

« Pom Friend » is probably the most tedious of the 5 to unlock, but it just takes time and perseverance (doing daily allied society quests). And yes, Prompto levelled pictomancer just for the « Picto Perfect » title.
