MY PLANE
I have never been able to work on the subject of the body or another area, or to experience a realistic feeling. So I think it has the advantage of being able to start new. I have never done research on people among my works. So this work will be a new challenge for me. I am going to work on the theme of the body part. I also want to express that 'the teeth are still moving and others can not feel the movement of teeth because they do not have corrective devices like me'. I want to make a work focusing on the three-dimensional part and the size of the work. What is the best way to express your mouth while thinking about the material for your work? I thought about it. I want to make using clay and sculpting tools. Because the clay can be made by hand and it seems to be more realistic than other materials. I want to express the various components in my mouth in a stereoscopic and vivid manner.

Here is a movie about teeth. The title of the movie is a fairy tale.
This film deals with a story about a tooth fairy. The plot of the film is called "Tooth Fairy" because of the long-lasting minor league ice hockey player Derek Thompson (Dwayne Johnson) breaking the opponent's teeth. It must be a genuine tooth fairy who takes the children's missing teeth and leaves money under the pillow. One day, Derek displeases his child by telling her girlfriend, Carly's daughter, that there is no tooth fairy. The fairy goddess who watched this from the sky orders Derek to serve as a tooth fairy for two weeks. Derek, who was unwilling to hide in someone else 's house with large wings, is gradually becoming adapted to the role of a tooth fairy and will discover his forgotten dream again. The story of a tooth fairy, originally known to us, tells us that when the children pull their teeth and put their teeth under the pillow, the tooth fairies come and take their teeth and leave gifts or money there.

HISTORY OF BRACES
I also looked at the history of braces.According to scholars and historians, braces date back to ancient times. Around 400-300 BC, Hippocratesand Aristotle contemplated ways to straighten teeth and fix various dental conditions. Archaeologists have discovered numerous mummified ancient individuals with what appear to be metal bands wrapped around their teeth. Catgut, a type of cord made from the natural fibers of an animal's intestines, performed a similar role to today’s orthodontic wire in closing gaps in the teeth and mouth.
Orthodontics truly began developing in the 18th and 19th centuries. In 1728, French dentist Pierre Fauchard, who is often credited with inventing modern orthodontics, published a book entitled "The Surgeon Dentist" on methods of straightening teeth. Fauchard, in his practice, used a device called a "Bandeau", a horseshoe-shaped piece of iron that helped expand the palate. In 1754, another French dentist, Louis Bourdet, dentist to the King of France, followed Fauchard's book with The Dentist's Art, which also dedicated a chapter to tooth alignment and application. He perfected the "Bandeau" and was the first dentist on record to recommend extraction of the premolar teeth to alleviate crowding and to improve jaw growth.

ARTIST - RONIT BARANGE
I was able to find the work of Ronit Baranga. His work was very stereotypical and vibrant, and the works on this body were all portrayed in a realistic way, so I could feel it alive. The works made of clay were mostly gray, not colorful, and red only at the mouth, but they did not seem simple at all. Rather, I focused on the mouth part of the work.

ARTIST - KIM JI-HEE
While I was searching for a work related to the braces, I was able to find a Korean artist Kim Ji Hee. Kim Ji-hee mainly draws the girl's face. The girl in the picture was laughing, but it felt like a comical laugh without the focus on the eyes. Especially, the most noticeable aspect of the girl's smile was the correctional period.

The human anatomy is the first part of the digestive tract where the mouth receives the esophagus and produces saliva. The oral mucosa is a mucosal epithelium that surrounds the inside of the mouth.
In addition to its primary role as the beginning of the digestive system, in humans the mouth also plays a significant role in communication. While primary aspects of the voice are produced in the throat, the tongue, lips, and jaw are also needed to produce the range of sounds included in human language.
The mouth consists of two regions, the vestibule and the oral cavity proper. The mouth, normally moist, is lined with a mucous membrane, and contains the teeth. The lips mark the transition from mucous membrane to skin, which covers most of the body.
I have examined how the oral cavity of a person is composed.
The mouth, consists of 2 regions, the vestibule and the oral cavity proper. The vestibule is the area between the teeth, lips and cheeks. The oral cavity is bounded at the sides and in front by the alveolar process and at the back by the isthmus of the fauces. Its roof is formed by hard palate at the front, and a soft palate at the back. The uvula projects downwards from the middle of the soft palate at its back. The floor is formed by the mylohyoid muscles and is occupied mainly by the tongue. A mucous membrane – the oral mucosa, lines the sides and under surface of the tongue to the gums, lining the inner aspect of the jaw It receives the secretions from the submandibular and sublingual salivary glands.
As I said above, I found that the mouthpiece had many configurations. The composition in the mouth was interacting with each other maintaining a complex relationship. If there is not a constitution of a mouth, constitutions will not play a proper role.

MY EXPERIENCE
While I was thinking about my mouth, I remembered that I had been wearing a straightener for almost four years from elementary school to middle school. The oldest one on my body was braces. I still remember the day that tooth correction was finished. On the last day of the correction, I removed the braces and looked in the mirror. It was very strange to see my oral structure changed in 4 years. My front teeth, which had been open, seemed to be as if they were, and my pothole, which I did not want to get rid of because it looked like a vampire, had already been mixed with other teeth. I thought I would not need all the corrective devices at the end of the calibration. But I was very surprised to hear that I had to wear the retaining device again and that it should stick to my teeth until it died. There are two types of retaining devices that I am doing, one of which is similar to a tooth corrector, but it does not look like it is attached just inside the teeth. The other one gave me a separate worn holding device. It is sleeping and sleeping before sleeping.
Sometimes when I do not use the retaining device for a long time and wear it again, my gums and teeth are very sore. Even though the braces were attached to my teeth for four years, I still feel my teeth moving. Moreover, it is interesting and surprising that the teeth are still moving a little bit, even though there is a retaining device already on the inside of the teeth. It feels as though the teeth are moving as you wish.

People have five senses. I know that all five senses are important to humans, and I was most interested in tastes from taste, hearing, sight, touch, and smell.  Because the mouth is not only composed of many components, but also plays a very important role in our body.
I think that taste is most important in the five senses. Because I feel the most when I have a movie or drama or something to eat, to listen to a sound, to smell good, to eat something I want to eat than to touch something. If I am sick or sad, or when something good happens, I think that solving or celebrating everything can only be done when I have eaten the food and tasted the food. So my taste is more important to me than the other five senses.
I looked at the tongue that tasted the food, the chewable teeth, and the mouth that connected to the swallowing throat.
In human anatomy, the mouth is the first portion of the alimentary canal that receives food and produces saliva. The oral mucosa is the mucous membrane epithelium lining the inside of the mouth.
I have seen older people drop teeth and use dentures to eat food. Older people do not use dentures when they do not eat, or when they do not speak. The shape of the face without teeth seemed as if the skin was flowing down. And when I put on the denture again, the face looked like it had regained its original form again. It was surprising that the teeth also played a role in maintaining the shape of the face properly. The mouth, which was part of our body, played a greater role than I thought.
