You don’t have to go hike the entire Appalachian trail or anything and I get that not everyone has access to the outdoors for various reasons, but just fucking … look around you when you’re outside. Notice the sky and the sun and the birds and creatures. Start caring about them. I’m begging you.

GUESS WHO HAD THE BEST IDEIA FOR AN ANIME, like ever.

SO, imagine this:

Everything was normal in this fantasy world, people lived their life in comfort, performing magic and having normal jobs, there were no more monsters in the world as all of them had been banished into far away lands from the main city’s a long time ago. When one day, the people awoke to their god, who had never been seen before, telling them he had an announcement. For reasons of overpopulation heaven now had only a few spots left, and it became harder to enter heaven, with a list being published with a point awards system, the better the thing you do, the more points you get. And at the top of that list was killing a monster, which had an insanely high number advantage then all of the other tasks.

So, after the god got back to the sky, chaos breaks in the world with people leaving the cities and communities to go kill monsters and then kill themselves so they may get a spot into heaven.

Our protagonist had a hard life, and all they want is to get into heaven so they promised they would become the worlds greatest monster slayer of all times. But after their journey of meeting people and growing as a person, they realized that they would waste their life hunting for monsters and not enjoy it, and there was a chance they would even get in. So, they decided to quit monster slaying life and focus on enjoying the time they had on earth, regardless of what happens afterwords.
