Black Opal

I've been doing a lot of work with metallic, holographic, and opalescent colors. I love the contrast with black background. I wanted her to have the illusion of holographic liquidity in her skin and hair.

And It's Just A Feeling

Inspiration is 9 1/2 Weeks. I saw the movie way before I was an adult. The scene where Kim Bassinger is in the private room at the art gallery, she's looking at images... Art, with a projector. If you have seen the movie, you know the rest. Probably the sexiest scene ever in a movie, at least at the time. I think it is still in my top three. The seduction, passion, and obsession mixed with a dash of toxicity that made me gravitate to the story. Soon after, I realized I was also in a "relationship" that mirrored the storyline. Unfortunately, my story went on a little longer than 9 1/2 Weeks.

So I owe that scene... A generous amount of credit. More to come.

And for those that have no idea what I'm talking about, and my post doesn't give it away.... Go watch the movie. You will thank me. It was before Rourke had those horrific surgeries on his face that has made him unrecognizable.

Begin the End

Check out Placebo's song and video, Begin The End. That song was the inspiration behind the picture and future series of pictures I have been working on. AI doesn't particularly like rendering pictures of smoking a joint, or even a cigarette. The results I got left me with 2 images out of hundreds, and that is a conservative estimate. Finding the image was just the beginning. We actually have to edit and that takes up the majority of the time from start to finish. I think she is a beauty. The picture has nothing to do with the video, although the video has its own story completely separate from my interpretation of the lyrics in regards to the image.
