As the sun sets on my twenties, I find myself sick on my thirtieth birthday. All the things I’d wanted to do today suddenly weren’t available to me. Staying in bed all day allowed me instead to reflect on the journey of these past three decades and wonder where I go from here. I can’t turn back the clock to alter what has been and can only strive to better what will be.
