A Torn Page from the Journal of Aurelia [REDACTED], The Veil Jumper

A Study from the Catalogue of Manifestations

It's been a few years since I found myself in this realm. I couldn't even remember the way I looked before. I had to dye my hair black. I had to cover my tattoos. I had to wear my glasses on. I'm a whole different person in a whole different world. However, my hard work has finally bore fruit. I have finally discovered the secrets of this realm. The dark patches in history that they desperately try to keep hidden in the dark corners of the void that surrounds the floating landscape of the place they call "The Aeon Academy". It seems that this world also has "Manifestations", powerful birthrights that manifest at a certain time in a human's life cycle which determines the mastery they are destined to acquire during their travels and study of the arcane.

Along with these manifestations, I've discovered something deeper and something sinister. The current manifestations are "not the only" manifestations that currently reside in this realm. I've found the books, I've recorded the details and in short, this realm houses the manifestations secretly known as: The Forgotten Havocs, The Father of Destiny, The Unwelcome Visitors, The Bridges of Inferno and The Permanence. These are not their real names but in a desperate move to shield the people from Eternum's dark history, they were labeled as such and are currently hidden within the realm's emptiest spaces. The manifestations described are the following:

[REDACTED] - The [REDACTED] manifestation is one of the three forgotten havocs of the casting world along with [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] . People with this manifestation develop an interest with bringing back decomposing magical energies and using them to command the dead to their whims. Due to its dangerous nature, any study of such magic has been forbidden. The decomposing magical energies are also toxic to casters which makes the [REDACTED] casters much more potent and hazardous to the magical realm. No one has ever been recorded to possess this kind of manifestation yet. To most, this is only a legend, but to the veterans of the magical realm, this magic very much exists in the bowels of the void that surrounds the arcane dominion.

[REDACTED] - The [REDACTED] manifestation is one of the three forgotten havocs of the casting world along with [REDACTED] and [REDACTED]. People with this manifestation command the ability to harvest souls and create powerful fluxes of magic using them. Due to its dangerous nature, any study of such magic has been forbidden. The only caster to have been born with this manifestation was the late Council Member Rav Surgestone who used his abilities to combat a plague that nearly wiped out half of his country’s population. He had to harvest the souls of those who were dying and beyond saving, effectively gaining the ire of the other council members. In the end, he was discharged from his position and promptly “Kindled” but would go on to be venerated by future generations due to his role in saving the lives of the people of his country.

[REDACTED] - The [REDACTED] manifestation is one of the three forgotten havocs of the casting world along with [REDACTED] and [REDACTED]. People with this manifestation have access to Dark Mystical energies enabling them to cast anti-casting magic which takes the form of curses that torment, kill or plainly cause fear and disrupt the lives of those who possess magical energies within their bodies. For every caster that falls under the effects of the curses, the [REDACTED] caster assimilates their energies and further empower themselves. Due to the violent and harmful nature of this manifestation, it was given the same treatment as the [REDACTED] manifestation however, up to this day, the only [REDACTED] caster to have ever existed was an unnamed boy who died in a magical incident after he inadvertently casted a curse upon himself.

[REDACTED] - An offshoot manifestation from the Muto Subgroup, the [REDACTED] manifestation comprises of individuals who wanted their transmutation to become permanent. Using a specialized process combined with their Muto abilities, [REDACTED] casters can transform into any living creature and permanently stay on that form. However, over the course of history, powerful [REDACTED] casters often lost control of their magic and turned rabid which prompted the council to forbid the use of such ability and strictly implemented that shapeshifters stay within the Muto manifestation for their own safety and the security of others. The most famous [REDACTED] disaster was that of a powerful caster named Kalysta who shapeshifted herself into the lesser hydra which eventually got out of control killing 3 young members of the council and prompting a massive kindling ritual to be done.

[REDACTED] - The [REDACTED] manifestation is a special manifestation which lets its holder manipulate time outside the realm of awareness of others. [REDACTED] casters can physically travel through time at the cost of their magical energies. They can also fast forward or replay time backwards to witness key events or foretell future events. The Destinus manifestation was a product of the efforts of the council in dampening this manifestation using a ritual called the “Anchoring”, as it could cause untold destruction at the wrong hands. The last [REDACTED] caster before the Anchoring was an unnamed hermit who mysteriously vanished just as the Anchoring process was discovered. Theorists suggests the Hermit travelled back in time to avert a mystical crisis and develop the Anchoring method that will eventually be discovered and used.

[REDACTED] - The [REDACTED] manifestation is a manifestation that cannot be developed, only bestowed by the monstrous residents of the Underworld. They mostly do this to gain the favor of several casters in a cunning plan to get summoned into the magical realm and cause chaos. Over the course of the past centuries, casters born with the [REDACTED] manifestation were relentlessly hunted and slaughtered via [REDACTED], a process which exposes a caster to large amounts of pure magical energies effectively erasing them from existence. As the [REDACTED] population eventually disappeared, rumors are circling that a single one survived the hunt and is now plotting to take their revenge on the residents of the magical realm.

[REDACTED] - Legends of otherworldly casters and the existence of a plethora of universes outside the magical realm are widespread across the caster community. Unbeknownst to them, there is a manifestation called [REDACTED] which is used to label casters who have the ability to jump or summon passageways to other universes. Although the manifestation is very rarely harmful, it was still deemed forbidden by the council. The council doesn’t fear the caster who possesses the manifestation, rather, they fear what horrors might come out of the passageways created by such powerful manifestation.

These are the manifestations that were deemed too dangerous by the council and I do not blame them for feeling that way. After all, one of these manifestations destroyed my home, my family and my past identity. However, there's another manifestation not recorded on this realm. The [REDACTED] manifestation, also known as the Infinite Circuit. A manifestation so powerful, casters that are born with this power do not need magical energies to cast magic, do not need training to develop manifestations, and are not confined to one, two or three manifestations. They possess everything there is to possess in the realm of magic.

My search and my sleuthing has brought me to all sorts of places and information. I need to find my brother fast. Oh Elio, if you do exist in this world, I need to find you, before the scissors of Atropos reach their designation and cut off your threads...again.

Over the course of my operation, I recognized a secret wandering just under our noses. There are individuals in this academy that do not belong to Eternum. They belong somewhere else but...why are they here? There's three of them in total wandering the Academy grounds, they have yet to show their identities. But then again there's another unwelcome visitor in this realm, one that crossed a plethora of universes.
