When one thing makes you feel like you do everything wrong -spilled milk

i’m so angry i’m sad

i’m so sad and angry

i can remember how hard i was crying.

uncontrollably, 

with no one to console me 

or hug me

to tell me it’s going to be okay. 

i remember being on the phone with her mom, 

the way her mom wasn’t in shock, 

not surprised by her daughters actions

was disgusting. 

i remember being alone in downtown atl 

not sure if i was going to ever see my phone 

or her again.

i remember thinking that i’m never getting my belongings back. 

how sad i was that my fav pants ripped bc of her.

makeup ruined.

i remember thinking how ppl probably thought we were drunk and out of control, 

but one look at me and someone would know.

i remember the girl in the car 

how scared she was to help bc of the world we live in.

i am thankful for her kindness. 

i surprised myself by not calling the cops but my mom.

i wish i called 911 maybe then she could be different. 

but it’s not my responsibility to help her. 

i’m so angry i’m sad. 

i wish it never happened .

it gives me more appreciation for jade, 

the way she cares is like an unexpected rain storm,  

it’s scary at first but comforting in the end.

i’m relearning how to be in a relationship, 

how to love and be loved.

i’m so ready to get on a better path.
