Good morning guys! Having difficulty of deciding where to have seafood in Perth? No worries, because today we would like to share with you guys where to get delicious and fresh seafood in Perth.

On our last trip to Perth, my friend took us to Fremantle to have seafood. It is located just right next to beach, imagine just how fresh is the seafood. There are also few seafood restaurant nearby, but the one that we went is Kailis Brothers.

We do apologised that we have forgotten to take a picture of the prices. We try to search online but we are unsure if it is reliable because as you guys know that seafood often changes their prices due to their availability, but we will provide a rough price at the bottom of each picture.

Hey guys! Hope you guys are doing well. Today we would like to introduce you a Modern Cambodian Cuisine which located in Capel Street, Melbourne. One of our Cambodian friend actually work there so we decided to drop by for dinner. Amok restaurant vision is to bring the experience from the hometown and combine with locals ingredients to make the specials culinary flavor.

Next, fish amok. This is one of the most popular dish in the restaurant. This is Cambodian dish with curried fish coated with coconut milk and it can be steamed of backed in a pod with banana leaves. This dish can serve for 4 pax.

It tastes really good and special because it made out of some doufu in this dish, but unfortunately we have no idea what is the name of this dish. You guys can show to one of their staff to ask for the name.

On the second day of our trip, my friend brought us to this Italian restaurant. It is very well known in Perth. We went there at 7.30pm and queued for almost an hour to get our table.

Stalactites Greek Restaurant

Both of us went to Stalactites for brunch today. Usually during peak hour we have to wait for quite sometime but today we only waited for about 10 minutes to get our table. In addition, we found out that the ceiling of the restaurant is very unique where it has many man made stalactites on top. This is the reason why this restaurant is named Stalactites Greek Restaurant. It operates 24 hours so we you guys can go anytime and even for supper.

You guys must be wondering what is fancy food in the picture. This is actually a pancake. It does not only look different from the normal pancake from McDonalds, it also taste way better than McDonalds. Besides that, it can be consider as a healthy dish too (except for the cream on top). This pancake made out of blueberry and ricotta, on top of that they have seasonal fruits such as figs and grapes, seeds and some maple syrup.

Overall, we enjoyed it very much. The decorations and embrace of the place were just fine, The burger were just perfectly done and for those who thinking of visiting definitely need to try on their soft shell crab burger. This is because they served the burger with the whole soft shell crab and with and extra of $5, you will be given chips and soft drink or their miso soup. However, the only downside about the burger is that it is over priced.

Tim Ho Wan is originally from Hong Kong and they are selling variety of high quality dim sum. This restaurant is actually awarded a Michelin Star and has total 20 outlets in 9 countries including Malaysia, Australia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and also in the Philippines.

Both of us actually tired few times in Malaysia and once here in Melbourne, Australia, we found out that even though they are the same restaurant in different country but they tasted different. The dim sum here in Melbourne tasted better than the one in Malaysia, but the menu in Melbourne here has lesser choices compare with Malaysia’s Tim Ho Wan.

1. Baked bun with barbecue pork, also known as char siu bao . If you are familiar with Chinese dim sum, you should know how delicious is the pork bun. It is a steam bun with pork filling. It a must to try this dish.

2. Egg tarts. The center of the soft jelly like of the egg tart is so creamy and sweet, the surrounding crust of the egg tart melts in your mouth right after you eat it.

Price: $4.80

3. Prawn Dumplings. This is also a must try dish because of the flaky springs rolls filled with whole prawn and taste so good.

Price: $7.90

4. Pork Dumplings with Prawns. This is made out of prawns, ginger, pepper, some soy source, cornstarch and sesame oil. Even though they only served 4 in a basket, but the one dumpling itself is really big.

5. Seafood Vermicelli Rolls. This dish is filled with prawns, crabsticks and cuttlefish. This is also taste good but not as delicious as the others.
