I’m calling this the Foolish Shooting Star AU bc we got a Fool, a Star and I’m making my wishes come true lol

Starting off: Kotone Shiomi - her mother remarried a nice man when she was 2. The best part was she got a brother who was the same age as her! Minato Yuki. [I came into this fandom with P5 so Makoto will always be Queen to me. And I’m not into the whole rhyming name thing so Yuki it is] they’ve even got their own team name and everything (it’s Koko-and-Mimi)

After their parents die, they end up separated bc people on Kotone’s side of the family don’t want to raise Minato and people on Minato’s side of the family don’t want to raise Kotone.

They still keep in touch through email. Certain circumstances lead them into trying to attend high school together and luck has it that Gekkoukan High has accepted them both. Minato arrives a week earlier than Kotone and ends up joining S.E.E.S. just a few days before she arrives.

However, when she does, everything soon goes to shit.

Kotone is the Wild Card and she’s got Death sealed inside her while her brother ends up being the Field Leader of S.E.E.S.

Took a lot of thought here for Personas so:

Juggled between who would be our Fool, but ended up going with Kotone since she has all teammates as her social links. I’ve moved some around tho, such as Aki and Shinji - so they align with their arcana in the non-P3P timelines. Leaving the Star arcana open to an estranged brother who’s trying to reconnect with his sister type of social link.

Orpheus and Messiah mostly unchanged. Honestly only tweaked a bit for Messiah design-wise based on Messiah Picaro.

I gave Minato Eurydice as his starter persona (the one with the snake around his neck) and it awakens into Eris (sword head guy). Figured that if Kotone can have Personas that are “male” then I should do the same for Minato.

Eurydice of course was chosen because of the connection to Orpheus. I’m also drawing parallels to them being separated by death. (😉) Eris was chosen because of Thanatos. They’re both children of Nyx and since I added both protags into one timeline, there’s gonna be lots of chaos.
