Sensations of Love- Venus

Aries: Suddenly. A fierce amount of protectiveness overcomes them and it feels as if their heart begins to beat only for their love. Competing with their past (or even those they deem threatening) to do better, be better and ultimately win this time. A feeling of triumph.

Taurus: Panicked. Feeling torn between their expectations and the reality present in front of them. Not knowing which is better because both feel so good but terrifying in the same breath. Afraid of being wrong. Frozen in the current moment, they patiently wait to thaw from the suddenness of it all.

Gemini: Curiously. No more flirting just to pass the time, suddenly this person ignites something peculiar in you that you can’t shake. Intrigued you must thoroughly investigate it. Better be kept on your toes. Like a fish barely nibbling on the hook with bait being reeled in.

Cancer: Stricken. You’ve never felt so at peace and so comforted. Excited even. paralyzed at the realization it quickly diminishes as soon as you imagine the future milestones soon shared. An expansion of the heart that you never expected.

Leo: Methodical. Knowing your worth before anything else, you watch, take note, and prepare for the wild romantic ride you’re about to give them because as soon as you know they are as ready as you there is no holding back. A marvelous feeling enthralled in every word and action shared.

Virgo: Sheepishly. A sweet and kind version of you bathed in the thoughts of your love. Running incessantly through the checklist of why they are perfect for you sends you into a euphoric satiating feeling. Constant chatter, even (and especially) the mundane, pull you in like an ocean tide.

Libra: Dazed. Unsure about it all, the lushed sensations coursing through your veins is all you need to subside any flaw you may have overlooked. Compromise is your middle name so why not subside all worries until proven to be concerned. Allowing your heart to finally have a say over your mind.

Scorpio: Awakened. Senses heightened, heart and mind intensified, you often lose yourself in the fervor of it all right off the bat because you can’t let go of someone who enlivens so much in you for long, as your afraid to risk it all and repeat the devastating history you never unburden yourself with.

Sagittarius: Buoyantly. With nothing to lose but time (which you believe you have plenty of and could never waste), you go all in allowing yourself to fully immerse yourself in the relationship to learn and experience all you can with them. Just hope they’ll hold your interest or else you’re gone at the first sight of stagnation of the heart or mind.

Capricorn: Compassionately. Full of love to give, as soon as you feel those pesky flutters trouncing in your stomach, you can’t help but be buttered up to them (despite it taking a bit of time) Cheeks flushing into pinks and giggles with the slight mention of them. Alleviating the thoughts of loneliness into palliative wonders of the future.

Aquarius: Staggering. Understanding how overwhelming it is, it’s also just so new and astonishing to be apart of something intangible. Finally feeling unapologetically accepted by someone you can’t wait to explore the matters of the world with them. Relieved to finally trust someone outside yourself.

Pisces: Obscurely. It’s like jumping out of a ship in the middle of the ocean at midnight. Exhilarating, windswept, and completely in the hands of fate. Keeping a blind eye to anything that will tarnish the fantasy of it all. Testing every boundary and limit to see how far you can venture through the trials of love

Disclaimer: Even though, yes, venus is the expression of love, it does have part in the jolting moment of falling in love as well. How are we to give that love if we don’t already know what it feels like ❤️ This can also be the deafult feeling of receiving love. As always this is just a fun post. Take it with a grain of salt.

Mars & Energy

Donna Van Toen, in her work The Mars Book, proposes there are four main types of energy in relation to Mars:

1. Physical: Just what it sounds like, matters of athletics, physical work, etc. This is the energy we expend through physical action.

2. Practical: Energy applied to responsibilities. This is the energy we expend through school, work, survival.

3. Mental: Again, just what it sounds like; matters of thought. This is the energy we expend through communication, planning, and the like.

4. Emotional: This goes beyond just emotion and into interpersonal (particularly sexual) relationships. This is the energy we expend through feeling, relating, et cetera.

Of course, these four very often overlap depending on what we are doing, but they are important to recognize on their own, as well.

Van Toen continues with this, suggesting it can be applied to each Sign and House when attempting to understand Mars’ influence within them. Her interpretation suggests that, depending on the sign Mars is in, the expression of energy varies in intensity. She expresses this as high, adequate (which I will be referring to as neutral), and low.

Aries: All energy levels are high.

Taurus: Practical and Emotional are high, but Mental and Physical are low.

Gemini: Mental is high, Physical is neutral, Practical is low, and Emotional varies.

Cancer: Emotional is high, Practical and Physical are neutral, and Mental is low.

Leo: Physical is high, Practical and Mental are neutral, and Emotional can vary from neutral to low.

Virgo: High Practical energy, Mental can vary from neutral to high, Physical is neutral, and Emotional is low.

Libra: Mental is high, neutral to low Physical energies, low Practical and Emotional energies.

Mars Signs

Mars in Aries: Master of Aries, Mars gives the natives tons of energy, sex appeal to resell, and sometimes an explosive character that you will have to learn to control.
