Day 10
Feeling fantastic from cutting out processed foods and sugar! Sugar is the devil and I am feeling great without it. I'm sleeping better, have more energy. It's awesome! I'm surprised by just how good I'm feeling. Sometimes I think 'oh but I miss this food or that food' but they are bad foods for me anyway and I am making a choice to do this, no one is forcing me. So I will keep reminding myself of this. Here's to another great 20 days!

Day 4 whole30
I'm Finally feeling much better and the stupid virus is leaving my system. I'm looking forward to actually being hungry and having an appetite. I went for a 50 min walk this morning to get back into the swing of things and it was lovely. The weather here is good today, not too hot and not too cold! Breakfast was a fried egg with sweet potato rosti, ham and a small spoon of avocado (2 of my avos were past it so the avo was very minimal this morning!) After my walk I had a bowl of watermelon and a homemade green smoothie. Apple, celery, banana and spinach and a cup of water and ice all put into the blender so that you don't lose any nutrients 😃 very tasty and easy to make. I have some leftover cauliflower rice from last nights dinner so I'm going to have that for late lunch and tonight I'm making a frittata! I'm feeling good, still feel bloated though. Haven't had any caffeine yet either. Tomorrow at work might be the day to try the long black again! Need to food plan and write a grocery list this afternoon. Lazy Sunday! Ciao for now.

Whole30
Started the whole30 yesterday. I'm sick with a virus and not feeling 100% so hopefully this good food will make me feel better! Day2 and although I'm still unwell I am glad I made the choice to just start and get on with it. It will take a bit for my sugar cravings and addiction to die down but hopefully not too long. I'm enjoying fresh fruit which helps! Looking forward to cooking some new recipes and also exercising again once this virus is gone! Here's to 2015 being my healthiest and fittest year yet!

Friday!
Definitely feeling better this week. I think there are times where I could have made better choices but I still think I'm making progress. Already been for a walk this morning and have another walking date at 10:30. That's nearly 2 weeks down of healthy choices. :)

Wowza
I ran 5km today, second day back to exercise and I smashed it! 35min jog with adorable maxwell and 30min Tracey Anderson DVD. I think it's safe to say I got my 20 min a day exercise today. I was sitting on my bed after spending all morning being a lazy sloth and decided 'you know what? I'm going to smash out a run' so I downloaded the Nike running app - which is fantastic and went on my merry way. Once I get off my ass and just do the exercise I feel so much better! So much better! Yummy omelette with pumpkin in it for dinner. Healthy and cheap. I'm really sick of having no job but I guess these things happen when you move interstate!

I'm baaaaaaccckkk!
Hello tumblr. I'm back, yes you heard me I'M BACK! I haven't spent much time on tumblr lately, because it would remind me how far off track i've gotten. But I woke up this morning and there's no more excuses, only solutions. I did my tracey anderson DVD (which i love but hate because it's friggin hard!) I swear at her most of the time because my muscles are burning but i love the challenge and feel great afterwards. It's basically half an hour of pilates. Then after lunch took the puppy and husband across to the Botanical Gardens and jogged the ENTIRE way!!! Which made me extremely proud. It's always easier with awesome music blaring through my ear phones. My little pup runs the whole way too, he's always super keen.
Exercise makes me feel good. It makes me feel like i'm actively doing something to lose weight and increase my fitness. I know it won't happen overnight and I always need to remind myself of this. Looking fab by christmas is my goal. It'll be the next time where i'll see most of my family and so I want to look amazing!!!
My food intake is back to what my naturopath gave me. Protein with every meal, minimal carbs, sugar only from fruit. So basically good food, fruit and veggies, fair amount of protein.
I am READY for this and ready to be the best me that I can be! We want to have a baby in a few years and I want to be in the best shape of my life before that happens.
I'm excited to be back on the wagon for the rest of my life!
