Just to be clear, I do like the the show and it's very good it's. When I critique it I go hard on ut but tbh when I actually watch the show I'm having fun, I just haven't done so in a while
Fun fact about me: I was born on Tet/Tisha B'Av (July 24th 2007) so who knows, I might be the Messiah! We just have to wait about 220 more years to find out.
Another fun thing is that two of my classes had a main teacher that was also born on Tet/Tisha B'Av so that was fun.
Also it may just be me but I'm not the biggest fan of Lag B'Omer, not the biggest fan of things that have to do with Omers (just to be clear Omer is my name)
someone explain the jewish holidays to me like i'm 5 years old
I really like Escape from the Impossibin because not just is it a very well executed episode it also has a premise that feels like it belongs to an Uncle Scrooge story. Like hell, the first appearence of the modern Money Bin, The Big Bin on Killmotor Hill dealt with Scrooge and the boys being unable to get out of the bin. The Split Sword of Swanstantine in addition to being way less focused and well executed has a plot that doesn't really fit Uncle Scrooge and it also does a terrible job setting up the sword for the finale because it really undersells its power. Also I think Escape from the Impossibin is one of the better Scrooge episodes because it deals with how much he prepares the bin, which even though it's not for the money it's a very comics Scrooge thing.
Probably Mickey shorts Donald because comics Donald is way less prone to outbursts than any on screen Donald and shorts Donald has more of a comedic role than Donald in DT17 so I thinl shorts will lose it first or at the same time as DT17 Donald
Had to share the full timelapse for the Donald Duck roadtrip. This music just works so well with the tone. There was another song I wanted to use before this one, but I couldn't remember the name.... maybe next time.
Who's losing it first? Italian comics, Mickey shorts, or DT17 Donald?
I talked about this one time in Discord and I forgot to talk about it in both reblogs lmao! But yeah Red, Green and White character that originated in Christmas goes hard

Oh also I forgot to mention the other main thing which is that Red and Green is used in Only a Poor Old Man and a Christman for Shacktown, two of my favorite Barks comics.

Okay I'm 100% in the minority for this but my pick is red+green. Honestly this was a tossup between red+green and red+gray but I decided it was red+green based on multiple factors. The first one is that while I think red+gray can work for a lot of artstyles I don't think it's the best color for most of them, I think the only artstyle red+gray is the best at is Don Rosa's art, mostly because brighter colors don't really work for his art, it also works for late Barks (in the '60s, and I'm not the biggest fan of his art from that period anyways). Now about Red+Green, I think it's probably the best colors for Barks' art at his peak (late '40s and early '50s) because Barks' art really benefits from the brighter colors and the use of red and green looks really good on his art, red and green are complementary colors after all and it looks really good on other barks like artstyles and while red+gray works for them too, I think red+green works better.
On a final note, I think blue+red only reallu works for the film artstyle (DuckTales, classic shorts and the like) and some Italian comics but for the italian comics red+black still works the best for the Italian style and I put all red on this list as a joke option because it's just fucking ugly.
There you go @oddballsducks!

just remembered my english teacher uses discord as his medium for e-tutoring. i dont need my professor seeing my goldie o gilt profile picture with a Norman Mclean quote profile and a Gladstone Yahs Ythursday status. that's between me and the lord and my five hundred avid fans
