On my binge watch now in anticipation for S5. I think Marissa and Jay should get together. IMO they've been set up for slow-burn since the start and could definitely see them developing further. (Or if not, give Marissa a girlfriend. Both work for me).

Would you recommend watching The Good Wife before seeing The Good Fight or can you just watch TGF without seeing TGW?

Great question! You can absolutely watch TGF without having seen any TGW. You might miss out on a reference here or there but nothing that would make the show hard to follow. TGF feels like its own distinct show and not a continuation of TGW. 

That said, before the first season premiered, I wrote a guide for anyone considering watching TGF without watching TGW first and if you’re concerned about going into TGF with no background, I recommend giving it a read (spoilers for TGW, of course!).

The good wife was so much better than The good wife. Christine Baranski isnt the kind of actress to can play the lead, she’s better off playing supporting characters. Can’t stand her, and her obnoxious laugh. They need to bring Julianna back.
