Buddie 8x17 fight rant;

anyone saying eddie is abusive for pointing his finger at buck, please kindly stfu lmaooo

oml the woobification of buck is so intense, I honestly was taken aback.

the racism is so apparent whether you're conscious of it or not. reflect on what archetypes you're perpetuating and why. why are you immediately drawing these conclusions when your fav is slightly inconvenienced? why can you not extend the same considerations of character depth for eddie that you do buck? this is coming from someone who loves buck wholeheartedly. he's one of my favourite characters; buck is not some innocent little child

I honestly think eddie was pretty harsh in the fight with his words but that because he's grieving - he's hurt and was alone when he found out bobby died and now he's back with his partner and he still feels alone. he said it to try get buck to talk to him.

do I think this is the most healthy communication ever? no lol

but since they made the decision to kill off bobby, I think it's fair to assume eddie and buck are probably not in the most healthy mindsets rn. they're mourning and sad and being selfish because they're in pain,, but one fight does not an abusive relationship make

anyways, let the characters be complicated without simplifying it to evil-mean-bad-abuser and good-perfect-baby-victim please 🙏
