1st Person, 2nd Person and 3rd Person narratives!

In the Great Witch, it switches between 1st, 2nd and 3rd person story telling. It's less confusing than it sounds. One of the spells in The Great Witch is called "Arcana Heart" which allows Female MC to relieve the memories of another person. During this spell, the protagonist and POV is the person who's mind is being read.

All of the time when you're playing as yourself in present time, it has the typical Interactive Fiction 2nd person narrative("you", "your", etc). This only happens when you're playing as yourself. Third Person (Limited) narrative is used when the current protagonist and point of view character is not the player character or viewing the memories of another person. It means the narration of the book is "Limited" to what the POV can see or hear. It's not omniscient but sort of an over the shoulder view of whomever the point of view character is(Usually Twilight/Dawn). I thought this would be an interesting blogpost because The Great Witch, despite featuring you as the protagonist has a costar main character (Twilight/Dawn). But outside of you and the other main character. There are also plenty of scenes and chapters that take the view of other characters. It might seem random at first, but once story reveals why it cannot follow you or the other main character, it'll make sense. In terms of Interactive Fiction, The Great Witch probably has the most POVs in a game that also features you(a customizable protagonist). This includes major side characters(ROs and none ROs) and even some one off characters. I promise it's not as chaotic and weird as it sounds! The Great Witch is a very "gamey" interactive fiction story where you help a young witch find her mother, who is the titular Great Witch to stop black magic from terrorizing the lands below.
