The Story So Far (Part 6)
And life continues to get busier as time passes. Nevertheless, the mission shall be completed. Engage!
Weavel, Samus, Alaina arrived to the water world of Okeana. Upon arriving, the team noticed that there were no defenses to the underwater base that contained the leader of the Aurora Unit rebellion, AU 673, and found it highly suspicious. On the other side of the island, Blujay touched down in the Lightning's Breath after preparing himself for the mission ahead. Shortly after departing to reunite with his allies, Blujay heard the sound of explosions, and quickened his pace to see what the matter was.
The sound of explosions originated from Weavel's ship, which was attacked by a rocket-launcher-weilding Alice. Before anyone has time to react, Alice retreats in a pod below, narrowly missing the strike of Weavel's energy scythe. It is clear to everyone, except Blujay, who arrived moments after the attack ended, that the Galactic Federation was aware of their presence, and the only way onwards was downwards into the base itself, if not to repair Weavel's ship, then to eliminate the threat once and for all.
As the group entered into the jungle, Blujay apologized to Samus for his rudeness on the Dark Star, and extended Samus his RoboSkin healing equipment for her to use. He finally and formally introduced himself to her, explaining the reasoning that he confided in her was because Master Hand told him that he could. Samus laughed, responding that she was no one's friend, and was very often referred to as a last resort to solving galaxy-threatening issues. Weavel and Alaina respectfully join the conversation, Weavel mentioning Zebesians as not being evil, but thrown into a life cycle they can't control; Alaina reminding the group to prepare for an altercation at any moment.
Hidden in the lush forestry, Alice had returned with her sniper rifle, aiming for Blujay and firing. Blujay suddenly sensed the incoming attack with the change of energy in the air, but before he could react, Samus took the bullet for him, inadvertently shooting a Super Missile at the structure where Alice took cover. The destroyed building revealed an open shaft leading down into the base, but after a sweep of the area, Q5-C7 finds no trace of the assailant. The team agreed that staying on the surface was more dangerous than going in, even though they knew that was what the Federation wanted. Weavel, being burnt on his ship being destroyed, was more adamant on finding an alternative route, but when the others descended, so did he.
While Blujay and Samus descended into the ship manually, Weavel and Alaina took transport pods. While in those pods, AU 673 identified them and questioned their presence on Okeana. Alaina shot out the speaker, uninterested in conversation, while Weavel dismissed the Aurora Unit's taunts with complete apathy. While Samus and Blujay reunited with Weavel after making their way through the base, Alaina ran into trouble being chased down by platoons of marines. She lost them when a door blocked their path to her, and Alaina found herself in the Map Room of Okeana, where she established communication with Samus, Weavel, and Blujay, verifying they were on the same level, but not the same area. She further identified the location of AU 673, who was in the heart of the facility.
Just as she thought she was safe, Alice blasted a sniper bolt through Alaina's leg in passing. Alaina attempted to return fire, but her gun jammed in the process, leaving the Champion defenseless. The sniper then appeared from the shadows to grapple Alaina by her mask, pounding it with a now metallic hand. We discover that the assailant is, in fact, the same Alice which helped the team on the surface of Drelion, and not an android. After being corrupted by Elira's darkness, the assassin was recovered by AU 673 and turned into a cyborg, programmed to obey the rebel unit's every command. Alaina recognized this, even being beat to a pulp, and barely got out the words she hoped would wake Alice up before she, herself, passed out:
"You are not a machine."
Meanwhile, Weavel, Samus, and Blujay ran into trouble of their own. A deployment of Federation Soldiers attacked, and Weavel took point on slicing through most of them with his energy scythe and blasting away the rest with his various cannons. Samus warned Blujay that Weavel was still not to be trusted, and the two share their mutual hatred for underwater labyrinths.
However, the chaos only increased when a team of Aqua Pirate divers approached the thick acrylic window from the other side, placing a time bomb on its exterior. Without a second to lose, Samus' deployed a Power Bomb in the corridor center, which spurned a quick evasive action by Blujay as well. Weavel, however, sealed the door between the two of them, assuring them that he would stay behind to buy them time, saluting to Samus as a form to trust. Samus grabbed Blujay and hurried away with her speed booster until they were safe.
When she stopped, Blujay contained himself to prevent injury from whiplash. Samus approached a door unlock able by a missile, which she fired to open. The two of them entered into the next room, only to find themselves in the presence of the rebellion's leader: AU 673.
Their engagement with the Aurora Unit, and the events which follow, will come in the next recap.

The Story So Far (Part 5)
A week has passed. My wife is 8.5 months pregnant. Life goes on, but the journey to recap will not stopped until completion. Onward!
On the surface of Drelion, Elira walked quietly along, following the path that Weavel and Samus made earlier with the lightbike. Before she could torment and destroy two straggling Federation soldiers, Alice killed them both, revealing herself from the shadows. Elira taunted Alice with Martin's permanent condition of being corrupted, which spurned Alice to shoot and attack Elira. In an intense brawl, Alice managed to injure Elira with a light bullet through their shoulders, first shooting herself to catch her attacker by surprise. But Elira had become too strong for Alice to eliminate to try to free Martin, and tragically, Elira overcame the assassin, subjecting her to dark corruption similar to Martin's, and vanquishing the light from her eyes.
Aboard Weavel's gunship, Blujay, Samus, and Weavel discussed the events that occurred on Drelion. Blujay relayed to them the dangerous woman Katie Kennet was and her psychotic plan to overtake the rest of the universe. Weavel made the connection that Blujay was from a different dimension or universe, and Samus asked why the vigilante had not killed his nemesis. Blujay then revealed the ideological war with Katie, believing that there was good that still remained in her. When Weavel questioned it, Blujay answered with an offensive response which inferred Space Pirates to all be zealots of death. Weavel's anger flared, and after an attempt to smack Blujay, he explained how Space Pirates were slaves to a horrible leader, Mother Brain, and how even the pirate lancer Tsey believed himself to be a tool. The three of them all came to a conclusion that at some degree, death was the only solution if redemption was unattainable. As Blujay closed his eyes to rest, he thanked Samus, who was taken aback from his kindness, and having not received mannerisms such as that in a long while, was unsure of how to receive them.
Back on the Dark Heart, the Kennets' capitol ship, Katie learned about Samus Aran and Weavel, being enraged that she had not foreseen a possible alliance with Blujay, and thus, them interrupting her plans. She was then summoned to the Phazon planet Phaaze, where Mother Brain met with her. Upon arriving, she was greeted kindly by Engrael, Mother Brain's personal caretaker, and not so kindly by Dark Samus. Mother Brain then communicated through Engrael's data pad, disclosing her wishes for Katie Kennet to leave the Metroid Realm as soon as Blujay is finally captured. She promised more resources to allow for his capture to be possibile, such as Blujay's current location, as well as battle statistics on Samus Aran. Katie, with thanks, left Mother Brain quickly, and returned to the Dark Heart.
Back on the Dark Heart, she returned to the detainment bay to question a prisoner from her universe, Riley Gordon, a known accomplice of Blujay. Riley was noncompliant; however, Katie took another playful strategy to get him to crack. He revealed that Blujay was attracted to blonde women that were calm, yet strong. Upon learning this, Katie returned to the command center, changing the order on Samus Aran to be captured instead of killed, imagining her usefulness to transcend her lethality.
After some time, Weavel's AI Akai took the three vigilantes to the Dark Star station, claiming the gunship needed refueling, and Ares was out of reach. When Weavel left to gather supplies, Blujay and his AI Q5-C7 gathered schematics from Akai, having been relayed that the Lightning's Breath was docked at the same station nearby. Akai informed Samus that Weavel was distressed by her presence because he cannot find an excuse to hate her anymore. Samus, in her Varia Suit, escorted Blujay back the Lightning's Breath after being convinced that the vigilante could help her heal the bullet wound on her leg.
When the two arrived, a Phrygisian approached Samus, whom she threatened until he left her alone, and clarified to Blujay that it was a former drug lord whom she completely dismantled from the Dark Star. Blujay attempted to heal Samus' wound, but when Samus insisted she do it herself, Blujay warned her that using his tools from a different universe might cause problems. She then questioned why she should trust him, when he insisted only kindness. He then angrily called her an entitled brat for being closed off and arrogant, which warranted a violent response from Samus, who spat back at him for calling her an entitled brat and for treating her like a damsel in distress. Blujay shocked her arm to force her to release him, and he clarified that he treated women with respect, but if she was hostile, he would meet her hostility halfway. The two angrily marched off from each other, and Samus attempted to trip Blujay, calling him naive.
To get his mind off of the situation, Blujay returned to the Lightning's Breath and commanded Cuefive to run diagnostics on his wound. After a moment of cooling down, Blujay asked Cuefive for his opinion about his argument which Samus. Cuefive identified the following:
• Samus was out of line for being aggressive
• Blujay reacted poorly and irrationally for her being distrusting, giving her more reason to be distrusting
• Blujay was attracted to her, due to Samus' likeness of his first love, Laura
Cuefive warned Blujay about forming attachments, especially with the current situation at hand, which the blue vigilante verbalized was not the case. The vigilante decided to sleep more in the Lightning's Breath's cockpit, despite Cuefive encouraging him to do research. When questioned about his lack of motivation, Blujay answered that it was a result of Samus' attitude, which Cuefive promptly directed that he should "get over himself."
As Samus walked away, she is intercepted by a masked woman named Alaina, who inquired why the bounty hunter didn't kill Blujay. Samus recognized her as a gladiator she'd seen before. Despite her distrusting nature, Samus allowed her to tag along until the two of them find Weavel intoxicated in a bar called The Splice. After inquiring why Weavel was being problematic, the cyborg bounty hunter emotionally revealed a loss of identity within himself, having only wanted to help others and being hunted down in return. Samus, not completely caring for his predicament, reminded Weavel that she needed him to get them to Okeana, a location name which peaked Alaina's interest. Inebriated, Weavel accused Samus of forcing him to become the deformed cyborg he was, which Aran responded by hauling him over her shoulder to carry him back to his ship. Samus concluded, by his accusation, that indeed she was responsible, to some degree, for Weavel becoming good, and figured that if she could do that with him, then perhaps all pirates could find redemption.
Samus and Alaina returned to Weavel's gunship, where Akai charted a course of Okeana and took off with the two of them onboard. Blujay was awoken by Cuefive, who informed him of Alaina's association with the Federation and her presence with Samus, identifying that the rest of their team—that being Martin, Elira, and Alice—was nowhere to be found. The AI also warned that Elira's powers were in likeness to that of the Darkness, an evil Blujay had been hunting down before being sucked into the Metroid Realm. The vigilante then plotted a course to Okeana, and was heeded by Cuefive that he should be aware of a return of Katie Kennet while he was there. When Blujay verified that there would be no mistakes, Cuefive challenged him once more on his emotional response toward Samus, which Blujay denied being an inhibitor.
Samus, onboard the gunship, asked Alaina what it could be that caused Weavel to maintain a drunken behavior, given that he is a cyborg. Alaina identified it as a spice known as Venom Weed, a plant that could burn through metal, which Pirates used for a recreational drug. As Weavel slept, the two rogues compared their love for fighting and using various weaponry. As they chatted, Samus approached the console, Akai reciting a warning stating the unknown reaction Weavel may have after awaking. Samus quickly learned this when Weavel awoke suddenly and attacked Samus with a punch. They briefly fought, Alaina having refused to get involved, knowing the damage she could do with her special sword. It all ended when Samus stunned Weavel with her Wave Beam, which received harsh criticism risking the ship's operation. Samus received a concussion as she reprimanded Weavel on his griping, and Weavel recovered from the Wave Beam, and he grunted about doing as he wished in his own ship.
Blujay, annoyed by the apparent hostilities in the gunship, shot into hyperspace to Okeana. Shortly after, Weavel did the same, which is where our next update will begin.

The Story So Far (Part 4)
Alas, work called and life continues, but now that I've got time, let us keep reviewing the story at hand.
In correspondence to Martin's former death, a steamlord named Cyphern created an android with resemblances to Martin, denoted as >Martin<. Considering Martin's body was never found at the original murder scene, Mother Brain commissioned Cyphern to create an android lookalike to represent the war hero. The objective was to have >Martin< infiltrate the political sphere of the Galactic Federation until he was elected Chairman, all the while giving Mother Brain the access she needed to become the greatest power in the Realm yet again, if not the Universe.
This all changed when a dark sorceress named Elira revealed herself with a Paladin at her side, one who claimed to be the real Martin himself. To eradicate this threat, Mother Brain sent Cyphern, the Pirate Commando Lancer Tsey, and the android Martin to execute him, adding three more assailants who had crosshairs for the corrupted soldier. Tsey trapped Martin's group underground with an explosion which blocked the exit—a group which included Martin, Elira, Varris, Blujay, an apprehended Javalix, Weavel, and Samus—to execute Martin personally. Weavel prior experience with Tsey enraged him at the sight of the lancer, and the two engaged in ferociously violent combat while the others stood back, not wanting to accidentally be impaled by an energy scythe or a plasma lance.
The fight was interrupted by Samus when she primed a missile toward Tsey. Both Tsey and Weavel were injured and weak, Weavel even lost an arm. Samus interrogated Tsey about why Mother Brain wanted Martin dead, and when he refused to talk, Blujay shoved him against a wall, sending a short, painful charge of electricity as encouragement. The interrogation was futile, however, as Tsey reminded him that no one in the room had the right to know anything that he had to offer.
Before they could proceed, Cyphern appeared before the group. Blujay, who at this point was unsure who was friend or foe, was reassured by both Samus and Martin that the steamlord was harmless. The group agreed to keep moving, separating into two groups. While Samus and Weavel committed to a plan to draw Federation forces away from them, Martin and Cyphern traveled West to keep Federation forces off of his trail. Blujay travelled below the surface through the tunnel system, using the Lightning's Breath's sonar mapping to guide Blujay to a safe exit.
Martin's travels were suddenly interrupted when his doppelgänger, >Martin<, attacked him from the shadows before appearing to him. The two dueled, each exchanging powerful blows, and each believing themselves to be the original, until Martin caught >Martin< by surprise with a shield bash, cracking the android's neck backwards. >Martin< suddenly realized the truth of his identity from Cyphern, who short-circuited him shortly afterward. Cyphern then revealed his intention to kill Martin due to an imbalance between logic and emotion, but deducted that his abilities would be further useful to Mother Brain, if kept alive.
Meanwhile, Katie Kennet had returned to Drelion, having received word of Blujay's return. After locating the area of interest found by the Federation, as well as locating Samus and Weavel leaving on a high-speed lightbike, she and her Datamatrons determined the most likely location that Blujay would exit, and ordered three full-fledged battleships to commence a Kennet invasion into Drelion as a distraction for Federation forces, while she and the ground forces converge on Blujay's location to apprehend him.
As Samus and Weavel zoomed off, Federation forces converged on Weavel's lightbike as multiple gunships pursued the two bounty hunters. In a sequence which could only be described as sheer awesomeness, Samus and Weavel single-handedly took on the Federation gunships, while Weavel's AI Akai drove the bike, and Samus' own gunship assisted from above, disabling the Federation engines and sending the assailant ships crashing into the city. The two successfully escaped by duking out a team of tailing hovercrafts and demolishing the enemies with a flurry of bombs from Samus' gunship. The explosion caught the gunship as well, however, forcing it to crash into the middle of the highway.
Samus was about to demand for Weavel's backup plan when the lightbike, along with Samus' leg, was suddenly struck by a high-velocity blast of Hyperbeam, fired from a sniper rifle in the hands of the former Smash Pirate Fal'karak. The two tumbled off of the bike at a hundred miles per hour, and when they came to a stop, they were ambushed by a deployment of Smash Pirates, Kennet Spartrons and Kennet Behemoths, who demanded their surrender. With their transportation totaled, the two fought against the armies of the Kennets and the Federation and rushed past them to escape. Akai directed Weavel underground where they finally found his gunship and boarded it. The Smash Pirates arrived at Weavel's hangar to stop them, but they arrived just as the gunship jetted off, failing to apprehend the bounty hunters.
Blujay, some time later, resurfaced to find the planet broken into a full-on war zone. He was attacked by Space Pirates the moment he breached, all the while Q5-C7 updated the central computer in the Lightning's Breath with information retrieved from below. It was then that Cuefive updated Blujay on the circumstances, during which the vigilante was attacked by a series of all-too-familiar foes, Kennet Spartrons. As the horrendous truth settled in, the hairs on his head stood on end as he heard the voice of Katie Kennet behind him, as the star-crossed nemeses were reunited. Cuefive recognized the effects of Phazon in her body, and helped Blujay realize her newfound alliance with Mother Brain and Dark Samus. He demanded how she found him, to which she inferred the Master Hand's deliberate guidance. She offered her hand of salvation, to which Blujay declined with zealous opposition.
Katie threatened him with a platoon of Spartrons, which compelled Blujay to fly in the air with his Energy Wings, right into the crosshairs of the hidden Fal'karak. The pirate penetrated another powerful Hyperbeam round into the shoulder of the vigilante, practically crippling him as he fell to the cement, luminous blue blood splattering outward from his shoulder. Victorious, Katie was about to take Blujay into her custody finally—when Weavel's gunship identified onto Blujay's energy signature and latched onto his sword, the Archepée, with a Grapple Beam. Blujay was airlifted quickly out of the grasp of Katie Kennet safely into the gunship. Enraged, the Kennet ordered three Kennet Battleships after Weavel's gunship, before it was too late.
Weavel's gunship blasted into Drelion's orbit, just as the three battleships intercepted. As Weavel evaded plasma bolts, Samus tended Blujay's injury, cauterizing both the entry and exit wound. Samus noticed that the wound which injured her was the same that injured Blujay, which Q5-C7 confirmed. As a platoon of Spacefighters pursued Weavel's gunship, Akai suddenly initiated a warp jump to the space station Ares, where Weavel claimed that medical supplies could be recovered to heal them both.
As Katie learned that the mission to apprehend Blujay failed, she ordered her forces to regroup for debrief, noting that research would be needed on both Weavel and Samus, should they be encountered again.

The Story So Far (Part 3)
Writing and backtracking can get exhausting. So I took a Super Smash Bros. break and had lunch, then waited for my wife to get home. Now that I’ve gotten the proper inspiration, let us continue.
Martin engaged in a heated battle with his former AI Severa, who had then taken the form of the menacing lifeform Gorea. Previously, Severa had sought revenge for Martin’s death, brutally murdering Sebastian Jones as recompense. However, when the enraged entity found Martin, she claimed him to be a mockery of the real Martin, and sought to kill the imitation which she claimed stood before her. With how savage the fight was, Blujay stood aside as he waited for an opportune moment. But none came, as shortly after the fight began, Elira stood between them, prepared to fight on her Paladin’s behalf.
Severa, in retaliation, charged a beam so powerful that it would have incinerated the three of them in one blow. Elira opened a dimensional portal in front of her as Severa’s beam was discharged, but began to fall weak under the sheer force of the concentrated blast. It wasn’t until Martin grasped her shoulder that their combined strength was enough to create another portal, redirecting Severa’s blast back at the AI. The core of Gorea was shattered into oblivion as Severa’s desperate, bloodcurdling cry echoed off the war marred buildings.
Martin took the loss hard, caught in a pure moment of shock as the truth of his beloved AI’s death set it. He argued with Alice over sentiment and practicality, which Alice promptly reminded him with the butt of her rifle after he insulted her allegiance. She was able to get Martin to his senses, after which Blujay, Elira, Alice and Martin retreat into the underground of the city. Above, the Lightning’s Breath returned to Drelion, and remained hidden from the ensuing chaos of civil war in the upper atmosphere, instigated by loyal and mutinous Aurora Units alike.
Just when the group thought they were safe, Javalix returned with a heavily armed Echo Squad to subdue them. Alice and Martin were stunned with wave particle rifles. Blujay, having fallen behind to communicate with the Lightning’s Breath, returned to witness Alice at gunpoint, with Martin on the ground. He was about to engage when Elira did, liquifying the entirety of Echo Squad into pools of darkness all the while taunting Javalix. She was about to do the same to him as well, when Martin stops her.
It is at that point that two bounty hunters arrived at the scene, the notorious Weavel, and the Guardian of the Metroid Realm herself, Samus Aran. Being led to Drelion to hunt Alice, the two of them realized the situation is far from simple. Alice, based on the fate of the Echo Squad marines, threatened to kill Elira, only to be warned by the dark sorceress that Martin’s life depended on hers. After evaluating the situation further, Weavel commandeered control of Elira, Martin, and Alice, telling Varris and Blujay to leave while they still could. Elira extracted the location of AU 673 and AU 538 from Javalix’s brain using a mind-melding ability, which none of the group was a fan of. While AU 538 was located on a Federation battleship, AU 673 was located on the water world of Okeana, deep within a submarine Federation base. This was the troop’s next destination.
Blujay spied on the group from the shadows, when suddenly, a nudge from behind caught the vigilante by surprise. Alice poised her sniper rifle, and asked Blujay to keep a close eye on Elira, which he agreed. As the group travelled down the tunnel to the barricade some further ways down, a detonation ruptured the walls near the opening, blocking their exit. Then, from the shadows, a Space Pirate Commando stepped out to face them with a plasma lance, inquiring a respectful duel with Martin, one-on-one. That pirate was Tsey.

The Story So Far (Part 2)
Sorry, I needed food and didn't want to lose three hours’ worth of writing and research. Now, where were we? Ah, yes...
Blujay learned from Alice that the Aurora Units intended to start a war, using Martin’s death as an instigator. Elira, a mistress with dark abilities, engaged with Blujay in combat as the two rivaled over morality and perspective. As Blujay gained the upper hand, he prepared to fight her silent Paladin, but was stopped when Cuefive reminded him the engagement took away from the mission. Before Blujay could ask anything more from Elira, the group were surrounded by Federation soldiers, attracted by the commotion Blujay initiated, lead by the familiar Echo Squad Soldier, Javalix. Blujay attempted to reason with Javalix, but found his resolve immoveable from the conflict. He wanted Alice, and Blujay was in his way.
It was at that moment, however, that an unexpected reaction occurred, as Paladin drew a mighty claymore to fight Javalix and the Federation soldiers. Blujay waited for a moment of opportunity to help, when a teary-eyed Alice cried for the Paladin to abstain by using a different name... Martin. Everyone froze as the truth was revealed, and the Paladin removed his black helmet to disclose the face of Martin, with a dark scar and a crimson eye identifying his allegiance to Elira. Martin angrily turned to Javalix, declaring that no one would murder in his name any longer, and Blujay assisted Elira and Alice in fighting the soldiers.
Meanwhile, Katie Kennet had been alerted of the situation, having identified the Lightning’s Breath through a reconnaissance drone. She travelled down to the surface of Drelion to retrieve Blujay, when she was notified that the Extravaganza, her current flagship, is under attack. A Decepticon known as Soundwave has attacked the ship, giving a threatening message to Katie from Dark Samus, which the Kennet leader misinterprets as a claim on Blujay. Four other Kennet Battleships warped to aid the Extravaganza, sending a barrage of spacefighters and Kennet Spartrons on a wild goose chase after the Decepticon, both in outer space and inside the Extravaganza. The battle ended when Soundwave teleported through a blue portal, ultimately escaping the Kennet Legion.
As the group of fugitives fought off the Federation soldiers, Javalix made it clear that he did not mind them all being disintegrated, and ordered an orbital strike from an HPVC-500. To escape, Elira quickly created a portal while Blujay defended her, and the five of them—Elira, Martin, Alice, Varris, and Blujay—walk through, completely vanishing from the targeted area to an unknown place, successfully escaping Javalix’s and Katie’s grasps.
Enraged with the outcome, Katie returned to the Extravaganza and warped to Phaaze to confront Dark Samus. The conflict almost lead to combat when Dark Samus revealed that her hostility was based on Katie stealing purple Phazon, not Blujay. Katie’s anger subsided, and when questioned about her obsession for the vigilante, she revealed to Dark Samus the true nature of her plan: to capture the Blujay to harness his power, and use it to put an end to Master Hand, Crazy Hand, and their dictatorship from Final Destination.
Blujay and his companions had escaped not into a new world, but into Elira’s Dark Dimension, containing a black and red sky, and sand resembling ashes. He had been separated from Varris and Martin, but was now with Alice and Elira. A dust devil appears before him, and a vision of his love, Laura, appeared as an illusion in the sand, haunting his memory. Elira laughed at this as she walked with Alice.
Martin was also haunted by a vision of his own, revealing a dark woman that tempted him to turn against Elira and stealing her own power. Martin resisted, and the vision faded to reveal the dark sand and Varris nearby. As the two walked together, Martin introspectively discussed the dilemma in his heart, and the dichotomy of his predicament between Elira and the moral spectrum he held. When the two of them thought they were safe, however, Martin was ambushed yet again by the dark woman, who froze Varris in time and took possession of the power remaining inside Martin. She referred to herself as the Matriarch, the true host of Elira’s power, and the true mistress by whom Martin was held captive. She attempted to force Martin to yield based on his affection for Alice, but unable to succeed, she imposed control over his own strength, forcing him to draw his sword against Varris.
Before his sword could strike, Martin overcame her power with the dark flame, a hidden power unsealed, freeing both himself and Varris. Varris shot an electric crossbow bolt into the sky, which flared brightly. Blujay, Alice, and Elira race to their aid, engaging the Matriarch and two shadow golems in combat. With the power of the dark flame, Martin took the main offensive, sending a wall of dark fire towards the golems and the Matriarch, who vanished from sight. Elira suddenly fought against her allies as the Matriarch’s power seized her. As attacks were sent toward Blujay and Martin, both were overcome with dark energy. Blujay is tormented by a vision of Katie Kennet, and within a moment, he suddenly awoke from it, discovering that the entire engagement with the Matriarch was nothing more than a nightmare, and they had returned to Drelion.
On Drelion, Martin found himself on two different war zones: one on Drelion against the wrathful Federation battleships, and another between Elira and Alice, who competed for Martin’s heart. The man was torn, unable to side with either, knowing he was forever altered by Elira’s dark power. With Blujay at his side, Martin stepped out into the open only to be faced by an opponent he did not expect: his former AI companion, Severa, consumed by the energy-siphoning, shapeshifting entity of Gorea.

The Story So Far (Part 1)
It’s been a few years since sincerely posting, so let’s do a recap shall we? Ahem...
That fateful day in Final Destination seemed like ages ago, the brutal battle between Master Hand and Crazy Hand, the Dark Hand claiming his supremacy, and his ultimate demise as he was shattered into pieces by the fighters he vowed to destroy. His true form, a dark eye which formed that of a hand, was crushed into oblivion by Master and Crazy Hand, and was hurtled into the depths of the Universe, where his essence was destroyed in a finalizing explosion. Or so it seemed.
With peace restored to the Nintendo Universe, each of the fighters went on their way back to their respective Realms, each of which received a gift from Master Hand in thanks for the extended efforts to bring peace. Some of these gifts were tools of invaluable ability, others were promises for fates long awaited. Master Hand and Crazy Hand agreed to a truce, where both would become more involved in the protection and regulation of the Realms, and their role as Guardians of the Universe would be equal in every form.
The only warrior to not return to his realm was a vigilante warrior from an entirely separate universe of his own, known only as Blujay Aramada. In the midst of the conflict before the Battle of Final Destination, the poor warrior had been dragged into the universe from a freak cataclysmic wormhole, taking him and his beloved spacefighter, the Lightning’s Breath, into the Nintendo Universe without a means of returning. Master Hand, in thanks for his efforts to restore peace, offered peaceful residence in the Metroid Realm on their version of planet Earth, a home which Blujay found similarity to his own. During that time, Blujay would remain quiet as Master Hand, from Final Destination, would locate the wormhole’s origin, and using technology created by Phaaze’s Phazon Leviathans, generate his own wormhole powerful enough to not only transcend galaxies, but whole universes.
That objective, however, would be easily resolved when another wormhole broke into the Nintendo Universe, but not without bringing a new glaring issue. An evil empress known as Katie Kennet had come looking for her prize, the masked vigilante known as Blujay Aramada. With direction from the revived spirit of the Dark Hand, Katie Kennet spoke with Mother Brain and Dark Samus, and formed a treaty with the Space Pirates. Mother Brain agreed that in return for successfully allocating Blujay, Katie Kennet would need to assist in another matter: the ultimate destruction of the Guardian of the Universe, Master Hand himself. The Kennet leader was also gifted by Dark Samus with Phazon Corruption, which enhanced her powers beyond that which she already had. Katie agreed to these terms, was given multiple regiments of Space Pirates to assist her cause, and the hunt for Aramada began.
Meanwhile, Blujay began vigilantism in New York City, hunting down a gang of thugs known as the Red Flare gang, a group of ex-Federation soldiers bent on taking over the economy while the Federation’s focus was primarily on Space Pirates and Dark Samus. His work was interrupted when his companion AI, Q5-C7, discovers that his old friend Martin was killed. After a prompt investigation, Blujay discovered that Martin was murdered by an assassin, named Agent 133, who was hired by Federation Councilman Sebastian Jones. Cuefive additionally identified an accomplice of Martin, Special Agent Alice Granger, who could be a key asset to hunting down Martin’s murderer and giving Blujay the answers he needed. The AI gave him her last location in orbit over the planet Drelion aboard the G.F.S. Redeemer, which Blujay decided to pursue in the morning.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the galaxy, Katie Kennet established her mutual friendship with the Space Pirates by attacking Admiral Halley, who was in possession of several canisters of purple Phazon. After a successful completion of that mission, Katie Kennet reunited with Svychx, who brought with her an ally at the time named the Traveler, who were suspicious of Katie Kennet’s intentions and how she was able to so easily locate Zebes II, Tourian, and most importantly, Mother Brain. Katie Kennet agreed to a meeting with what she referred to as ‘the dark essence’, which Dark Samus and Travis recognized as the Dark Hand.
Over Drelion, Blujay arrived in the Lightning’s Breath with a cloaking device online. When the Lightning’s Breath was in range, Q5-C7 successfully hacked into the Redeemer’s data logs to search for answers. He discovered that Echo Squadron was in control of the Redeemer, and below deck, the Aurora Unit 538 was in communication with Aurora Units across the Realm, propagating an AI rebellion throughout the Federation, and that Granger was not onboard. Suddenly, the Lightning’s Breath was identified by Federation fighters, forcing the vigilante to evade into Drelion’s atmosphere, suspecting Granger’s location to be there instead. A dogfight ensued, the vigilante desperately attempting to shake off the Federation ships, until without warrant, the assailing vessels retreated. Blujay conversed with Cuefive until they came to a conclusion: the Federation could not locate Granger either, and was using Blujay’s location to hunt her down.
Upon landing, Blujay exited the Lightning’s Breath and commissioned Cuefive to return to Drelion in two hours. A backup drive of Cuefive, Q5-C7 V.2, stayed with Blujay to assist in his investigation. He located Granger in the coastal city of Brim, which Blujay flew to using Energy Wings. Upon arriving, the Federation had begun searching the city far and wide, while Cuefive V2 located Granger with a crime lord named Varris. Blujay followed their last known location to a abandoned warehouse which produced liquid bromine, and finally found Granger, who greeted him with the end of a plasma-based sniper rifle. Blujay attempted to talk her down when, at that moment that Blujay, he also met a dark Paladin and his mistress of darkness, Elira.

Hey, friends!
In case you’re wondering, college happened. I’m a physics major now, and have had little time to live let alone check Tumblr and Facetroid. I’m really sorry. I promise, I will do my absolute best to come back later this Spring or at the beginning of Summer.
I’ve also needed a little more time to thoroughly plan out the Blujay, Master Hand, Smashtroid II Storyline. Evidently, Master Hand has recently taken on a new form, the Swarm, so I’ve been thinking of a way to incorporate that into our story. If you have any ideas, feel free to Facebook message me, as my presence on Skype and Tumblr has... not been.
Do not lose hope: I’m still here. Just REALLY busy...
I’ll be back soon, Facetroiders.
Sincerely,
The Hand Man

That last post was very dark, but for good reason. Nevertheless, I REFUSE TO GO TO BED THINKING ABOUT THAT STUFF, so—here’s a little something to cheer up the mood.
With that said, if you’re still up, goodnight!

That was a rather... Interesting fight. For a minute there, I thought it would never end.

SO—I’ve been gone for a few months or so, and there has been a ton of things which have prohibited me from posting on Facetroid.
#1: Writer’s block. With Travis about to embark on a war with Master Hand, I simply did not know how to proceed. Additionally, he managed to destroy the Great Fox’s engines, leaving majority of my characters disabled. I needed time to think.
#2: Classes. I needed to finish finals and school.
#3: Job. I got hired recently as a lifeguard, so that has occupied majority of my time, as of recent. Yay for pay, but boo for little free time.
So, after thinking about these things, I’ve decided to not have a, generally speaking, “fixed” storyline like Smashtroid was. It’s time you wrote the stories and I tagged along with my characters.
When Mr. Iwata died, however, I HAD to say something in regards to an impact on Master Hand and Crazy Hand. Satoru Iwata is the Maker that Master Hand was referring to. The Hands’ temporary paralysis are caused from his death.
But yeah, aside from an unconscious Master and Crazy Hand, everyone else is on Tyyris, a barren planet where everyone is trying to survive. If you have any ideas, feel free to collaborate.
I hope we can get Facetroid rolling again!
Sincerely,
The Hand Man
