About last night.... Is it over?!? This morning I woke up to a 10 year old! I still can’t believe you’re 10 but we made it! The one thing I realized this year is that I have a mini me on my hands!!! 😂 I am not sure if I am happy or scared. I can say it’s been a real eye opener and I have learned a lot...about you and me! Lesson of the year: stop and listen which we both know is very hard for us 😂 If you don’t know by now, I am utterly deeply in LOVE with you! 7 8 9 how quickly time flies! 6 seems so long ago but it was your first year at big school, Roedean had so much to offer and you did it all: swimming, violin, tennis and ballet. You made your first real forever friends ❤️ It was also the year of many selfies with mom! 😂 Seemed like the two of you were stuck to me but it was all good and I loved every minute of it. It was also the year you became a seasoned traveler! Two It was a big year as now you had to share daddy and mommy’s attention. You were still just a baby yourself but how easily you transitioned to big sister. You tortured him then and somehow you still manage to get on his nerves! 🤣 Honestly, you’re the best big sister ever with a huge heart. I know he doesn’t show it all the time but he loves you dearly and appreciates all you do for him! ie. Compassion. From a young age, you were already showing signs of compassion but as you have gotten older it’s only become more evident. What an amazing quality to have at 10. Double digits! I can’t believe you are 10 today. There is so much I want to say and I’m going to take my time. At 8 days old, you were already smiling. You actually smiled before that but I only caught it on day 8. You’re always smiling and you want everyone around you to do the same. The best is when your little brother is having a bad day and all you want to do is make him laugh and smile.
