Time for one piece live action episode 2!

Let's see why everyone's gushing over Buggy cause that's just wild.

Seeing baby luffy and feeling so much more connected to his backstory. But realized this means the other backstories are going to have me bawling...

Okay I get the Nami and zoro tension. Too much snark, but it's still in a more brother and sister annoying each other way.

Okay swallowing the map is a very Luffy thing to do, but early luffy would have never thought to swallow the map while falling unconscious.

Also Luffy choosing non violence. Nope his go to plan is always to just punch someone really hard.

Buggy. It's the voice. Buggy with this voice and swagger totally gives off the different vibes than squeaky voice flailing to grasp any Manga Buggy.

Oh God I'm going to have to reread the whole manga and anime again aren't i?

Zoro name dropping feels wrong

Okay but Buggy keeps saying how Shanks left Luffy, then offers him a spot in his crew of 'freaks' 🥺

I love that they leaned into the special effects and didn't just suddenly have them only use their devil fruit powers rarely.

OPLA EPISODE 1 THOUGHTS

I'm very hype but also stoned so...

The fighting is well done but surprisingly realistic. Atleast besides the obvious special effects.

Like really shows how freaky devil fruits would be to witness.

The pacing is very fast as there is so much trying to be packed in. But the attention to details is still there. Like stuff that really ties the atmosphere to the manga and anime.

MY BOY MY MAN JUST CAME ON SCREEN FOR THE FIRST TIME AND I CANT BREATH

I legit feel like I'm seeing my first crush

Oh God all the personalities are spot on.

God zoro is snarky but also swauve and elegant.

Oh I'm a sucker for a good choreography fight scene but with these characters I'm in awe.

Yeah shanks I'd also give my arm for baby Luffy.

But man seeing this anchor point scene of luffy eating the devil fruit as a up to the current manga reader? Man it's trippy.

Everyone seems like a serious person but luffy is cartoonish in his behaviors. Hard to follow his logic or lack of logic. How endearing he is and why everyone falls in love with him.

omg I forgot how manipulative Nami was.

And zoro just dragging around half a body!!! And then charming a little girl. Amazing. The fighting skills!!!

Everyone wants a piece of Zoro. So sticking to canon.

Everyone meeting luffy for the first time: "what just happened? I'm intrigued but also enraged by that guy"

OH GOD the nude scene is with Zoro's sword!! I feel violated for wado ichimonji

The trio three!! Like they were always meant to be together

And 1 for luffy knocking Zoro over. Hopefully they keep that running gag.

God three swords is so stupid but I love it so much

Yeeeess there's the Helmeppo haircut that disgusts me. And the Koby that I love!!!

Aaannnd the dendenmushi are horrifying.

I'm excited to see Garp earlier on!! Even though that would be for hundreds of episodes in the anime.

And even though buggy is such a comedy character in my eyes I hope he's also hilarious in the live action. Cause I will never see that man as terrifying.

Only 10 minutes into episode 1 and I'm crying. Just cause seeing this world I've read over and over and imagined so many times in actual view. And seeing these characters as real humans. It's like coming home

I've risen from the ashes and have returned to my first Fandom trash home.

And just in time!

For my longest Fandom to get a new resurgence. One piece live action is out and I'm seeing a whole new world of people fall in love with the amazing one piece world!

So I'm going to be spaming about that for the next foreseeable future.

The seventh brother- a lost dog gets adopted by a family of rabbits

Willie the sparrow- human boy gets turned into a sparrow

Scamper the penguin- it's about a blue penguin, his pink penguin friend, snowflake, and a macaroni penguin named Mac.

I keep using my girlfriend with unusual work hours to get out of coworker interactions and happy hours and hanging out.

But now the company holiday party is upon us.

And I’ve been lying about the girlfriend.

I suddenly really empathise with the characters in Hallmark Christmas movies.
