Beware! Evil Heroes
This is a Public Safety Announcement regarding a recent trend in Villainous Heroes which have entered the otherworld and began wreaking havoc. The following is a listed instruction on what to do in case you encounter one of these Evil Heroes.
STEP 0: PREPARE
Understand that Evil Heroes are greedy, angry, monstrous beings who care not for the happiness of others. They will chase, hunt, and kill anyone they view as an enemy. To avoid injury and possible death, make sure to memorize the signs of an Evil Hero and to escape before they even see you.
A.) Evil Heroes often carry many weapons. They have a plethora of weapons, more than any reasonable Hero could need. If you see a Hero with more than three weapons, get out of there!
B.) Evil Heroes can often be seen either by themselves or in very small parties. They tend to clash with other Heroes, Evil or Not, so if you see a solo Hero, stay cautious.
C.) Evil Heroes, more often than not, are fighting wild animals or relatively harmless monsters. If you see a hero engage with a Pack of Wolves, a Goblin Patrol, or a Bandit, they may be Evil.
STEP 1: STAY CALM
Evil Heroes often respond well to both flattery and obedience. If you can give them what they want, do so immediately. There is no cost worth your life, and the chance to get out of there is worth far more than any gold you may have. When engaged with correctly, this can end the confrontation before anything gets bad.
STEP 2: RUN FAST
While able to kill most commoners in a single strike, melee heroes who require a close proximity to attack can often simply be outrun, or you can run into a safer position where there is likely to be help. Running away can also signal a lack of aggression that makes some Heroes back away from killing you.
STEP 3: CALL GUARDS
While incredibly powerful entities, Heroes are vulnerable to being outnumbered. If there are 10 or more guards, soldiers, or other capable people able to assist you, call for help when danger becomes imminent. Heroes often go for the most threatening person around them, and if there is someone who can pose more of a threat to them than you can, escape can be a guarantee.
STEP 4: OTHER HEROES
Evil Heroes, while out-matching most everything in The Otherworld, are oftentimes evenly matched or even outclassed by Good Heroes, or simply other Evil Heroes looking for a fight. Engaging these two types of heroes in a fight can cause enough of a distraction to give you an opportunity to escape. This works well if you are in a heavily populated area.
STEP 5: HIDE FAST
Hiding can be a good strategy if all else fails, running behind a tree or any cover can provide a good barrier of effort that can drive some Heroes away. This won't be a guaranteed method, but if you can find a good enough place to hide and the Heroes chasing you aren't the most masterful perceivers, you can just hide until they leave.
STEP 6: PRAY
You cannot win against a Hero if they are determined to kill you.

Our Founder.
Our Founder, Ulysses Wilson, was a bright mind even at the age of 9. He began looking into the history of the magic that exists within our world as a young child, and continues to do so to this very day.
His journey with the worlds that exist beyond our own started when he first experienced the joy of creativity, fantasizing about the places beyond what could simply be seen by our plain eyes. With the spirit of wonder inside of him, he looked everywhere he could for the secrets that only he could find. He checked the hidden corners of every library, the alleyways which nobody had walked for many years, the center of every forest he entered, and yet the young Wilson found nothing.
However, when he was 23, all of that changed. He discovered in the back of a comic book shop, a portal to a new and fascinating world. For days, he explored this other world, before returning back to see that he had changed but the world had not.
Then, he dedicated himself to bringing this magic into the rest of the world, to show everyone what power rested in the hearts of those willing to go searching. This is when he founded the Institute of Magic Research, a place where all those seekers could go and find what they were looking for, and give that gift to others. Splitting off from his father's company, the Foundation for Creative Studies, the Institute of Magic Research seemed like all but a fantasy to those whose eyes remained closed. However, with his fathers generous help, he managed to build a place to study that very magic he experienced in that comic book shop.
