After the angels, and before mankind, God made the jinn from fire without smoke, they lived on earth before mankind. Like humans, the jinn can also eat, sleep, marry, reproduce, die, and be good or evil. Satan was one of the jinn and not an angel, as angels are made free from sin and can never disobey God, there were and never will be fallen angels. The evil jinn are known as shayatin, devils, or demons. The gods of ancient times were in fact the jinn. The only person who could control the jinn was King Solomon who was given a magical ring by God, but even he had trouble with a king jinni known as Asmodeus, which brings us to the origin of the jinni of the lamp/bottle/lantern/rings/ect. The jinns helped King Solomon build the temple of Jerusalem, but one day the marid (rebellious) Asmodeus stole the magical ring, and banished Solomon from his own kingdom then tossed the ring into the sea. After 40 days, Solomon found his ring, went back to reclaimed his kingdom and sealed Asmodeus inside a jar with the name of God on it, he then threw into the sea. Centuries later an old and poor fisherman found the jar and opened it releasing Asmodeus from his slumber.

Pop Quiz: which one of these characters is a jinni?
A. The well-dressed woman B. The demure-looking gazelle C. The big freaky spotted ostrich monster D. All of the above
If your answer was D, then you are correct! This illustration by Fritz Eichenberg from Eleanor Hoffmann’s “Mischief in Fez” does a great job of showing just how different jinn can be. A far cry from muscular blue men in bottles.

He mixed fire and plants, so the form of the jinn was set up as an interspace between two things It is between a bodily spirit with a place in depth and a spirit without "where". That which accepts embodiment seeks for food for nourishment without falsehood, And that which accepts the angels, accepts the heart in taking shape in the source. For this reason, it obeys one moment and rebels the next. He will repay those of them who disobey with two fires.

The jinn live upon the same earth as humans do.
Most of them can be found among the ruins and dilapidated areas, as well as the places where there are many impure things, such as, bathrooms, hashish dens, garbage dumps, the places of the camels, cemeteries.
For that reason, as Ibn...

Six animal-headed demons or jinn, all (except the blue elephant-headed demons) snapping their fingers. From a copy of ‘Ajā’ib al-makhlūqāt wa-gharā’ib al-mawjūdāt (Marvels of Things Created and Miraculous Aspects of Things Existing) by al-Qazwīnī (d. 1283/682). Neither the copyist nor illustrator is named, and the copy is undated. The nature of paper, script, ink, illumination, and illustrations suggest that it was produced in provincial Mughal India, possibly the Punjab, in the 17th century.

1. Say: It has been revealed to me that a company of Jinns listened (to the Qurán). They said, ‘We have really heard a wonderful Recital!
2. ‘It gives guidance to the Right, and we have believed therein: we shall not join (in worship) any (gods) with our Lord.
3. ‘And Exalted is the Majesty of our Lord: He has taken neither a wife nor a son.
4. ‘There were some foolish ones among us, who used to utter extravagant lies against Allah.
5. ‘But we do think that no man or Jinn should say aught that untrue against Allah.
6. ‘True, there were persons among mankind who took shelter with persons among the Jinns, but they increased them into father error.
7. ‘And they (came to) think as ye thought, that Allah would not raise up any one (to Judgment).
8. ‘And we pried into the secrets of heaven; but we found it filled with stern guards and flaming fires.
9. ‘We used, indeed, to sit there in (hidden) stations, to (steal) a hearing; but any who listen now will find a flaming fire watching him in ambush.
10. ‘And we understand not whether ill is intended to those on earth, or whether their Lord (really) intends to guide them to right conduct.
11. ‘There are among us some that are righteous, and some the contrary: we follow divergent paths.
12. ‘But we think that we can by no means frustrate Allah throughout the earth, nor can we escape Him by flight.
13. ‘And as for us, since we have listened to the Guidance, we have accepted it: and any who believes in his Lord has no fear, either of a short (account) or of any injustice. The Jinn (Al-Jinn)

Origin of Genies in Vessels
According to a well known legend, King Solomon had sealed rebellious jinn in brass vessels and cast them into a deep lake. When the vessels were discovered by ancient people, they were supposed to contain great treasure, and accordingly broken open. The jinn who were thus set at liberty, together with their legions, returned to their former places, Belial excepted, who entered into a certain image, and gave oracles to the people of the country in return for sacrifices and divine honors.

This second additional part to the Angels in Babylonian literature would further refute the Catholic church(and all and most Christian groups) claim and the opinion of some Jewish Rabbis(the belief of Fallen Angels and bad angels). It would also elaborate the Islamic position of those who are martyred according to Islamic Thought and belief and that they occupy Paradise/Heaven(s) with the surviving Prophets(pbut). This additional part would also expose the writer of the Book of Revelation
