Well someone clocked the whole movie, haha!

No, but Rumi being related to demons or one herself makes so much sense.

Thanks to this piece of concept art by Scott Watanabe, we can see that Rumi is the only member of Huntr/x with markings on her skin. Markings just like the ones the Saja Boys have!

So if our theories are true, that would also explain why Rumi seems to be such a workaholic perfectionist—so she doesn't slip up and let her true heritage show. And if you think about it, Rumi's never shown with her arms exposed, unlike Mira and Zoey.

Maybe that's what draws Jinu towards her, or why she seems to be able to communicate with his tiger and crow no problem. Maybe Rumi's arc is about accepting and embracing that part of her rather than trying to hide it.

(Maybe that's even why she has purple hair, who knows?)

I am way too obsessed with K-Pop Demon Hunters lol but I love it. I’ve watched it literally every night since it came out bc I want more of these so bad. I already have soooo much fanart bookmarked lol. And I’ve listened to the soundtrack so many times that if it had been through Spotify I would’ve gotten it to #1 all on my own istfg.

I wanna write things based off this movie so freaking bad I can’t contain myself. I’m literally open to writing anything about them. It’s a need.

"The ghosts eat the demons. Like a pack of hyenas taking down a wildebeest. I've seen the ghost of a 90-year-old Ukrainian babushka tear apart a demon with her teeth."

Theory: There is only one real member of the Saja Boys. They are all Jinu

I was thinking about this and while maybe it would be disproven in a sequel or series (or they changed their mind), but I think that the Saja boys demon group is really actually only one demon Jinu! For those who saw KPop Demon Hunters, think about it. It seems extremely unlikely that so much care was put into the choreography, dancing, singing, and making of this movie, and to completely not give the major demon boyband any background or personality except to one: Jinu. And also think about how Gwi-Ma only ever talks to one of them Jinu. He only speaks to the deal he made and calls him out as a selfish one who only ever does anything for himself. The others when introduced showed up in synchronization behind Jinu and I noticed when asked how he thought it would work, Jinu snapped his fingers and then their features were formed. All of them being Jinu clones makes far more sense why only one has a real name and only one was given a definitive personality and why Gwi-Ma only talked and dealt with the actual Jinu. And why none of them wondered what Jinu was doing spending so much time on his own with the hunter and how he is able to form an all demon boyband group in the first place! Demons after all are notoriously selfish. What is the likelyhood that he somehow came across 4 random demons who were willing to do such an unconventional method of soul gathering and actually manage to be in perfect synchronization with them before he even pitched the idea to Gwi-ma? And what could he have offered them to do it and not consider betraying him trying to take over or betray him to Gwi-ma? If they're all clone doubles of himself though being able to sing with clones of himself is far more reliable and fits the theme of being selfish that he is called out on and there is no way he could have gotten four demons that aren't him to agree to always be background like that. And it contrasts nicely against the unity of a trio of humans working together versus a single demon split/cloned of selfishness .
