From Sweet Talk:

“A quick update. We have now raised enough money to buy the largest size stone, thanks to everyone’s amazing and generous donations. So this is definitely happening. We’re overwhelmed at how quickly this has been done.  We know there are a lot of people who still wish to be part of this. So we have upped our goal. We can buy a replica of the stone which can be given to The Killers to take home with them. This will cost around a further £400 - we’re already getting towards that mark.  Anyone who donates will still get their name on the paperwork that will be given to the boys. If we don’t make enough to buy the replica or if we go over this second goal, then we will have a vote as to what to do with the surplus money, like donate it to charity. Victims are, as usual, awesome!”

“INCREDIBLE! I’m so happy to announce we have already hit the target for the largest stone and raised over 500 pounds - in just over 24 hours. Seeing as we have hit it so quickly and there are still a lot of people wanting to contribute, we’re going to raise the bar to the next level. So now, not only are we raising money for the permanent stone at Wembley, we’re also going to be raising money to give the boys a replica one they can take back to Vegas with them. Just like Justin Bieber’s one in this photo… except a lot less, well, shit! For this we are going to need another 400 pounds, but I know we can do it - you guys have all proven how amazing the Victims are. So keep spreading the word - we are going to dominate Wembley! I also just want to send a personal thank you to everyone for the response. When I first thought of this idea, I thought it would be absolutely awesome to get the 99 pound one, so what you have done in such a short amount of time is so brilliant. Thanks guys!”
