To his surprise she decided to take refuge in his bed after having a bad nightmare

They had a history together, not the greatest but its only due to Alessa that Dusk is alive and missing only an eye.

He simply wishes to make it up to her and change his life around than go back to what he was before.

The Hyur would slowly reach out and gently touched the other’s arm, watching as her hand came in contact with the one she was having a hard time believing was standing in front of her. After a few moments of touching her arm, Alessa would hug Lapiz tightly. Not something that happened often but she was beyond happy to see her and she also needed to hide the fact that she was on the verge of bawling her eyes out. “Where the hell were you...?”

Alessa was in her room on her sofa, a book over her face and a bottle in her hand. It had been a couple of weeks since the supposed loss of her closest friend, Lapiz, and she wasn’t taking it well at all. She was drinking more, eating less and generally didn’t leave her room that much anymore. She was sleeping off the booze when she would hear knocking on her door. The Hyur would groan softly but she knew better than to ignore someone at her door all things considered. After slowly rising into a sitting position, she would get up and stumble to the door, letting both the bottle and book just fall onto the floor. “Whaaaat?” She groaned as she reached the door and pulled it open. When she saw who was standing there though, her eyes widened and she froze up.
