So I decided to start sharing on Tumblr as it seems one of the few positive spaces left online to just enjoy things.

I've been Getting to the tail end of my custom TS4 save file that I have worked the better part of a year and a half on and want a place to share. It took an emotional haul to come back after For Rent ate my big rotational save I had invested a ton of time in up to that point. I will admit, I went really wild with the possibilities opened up by For Rent when it came to housing my Sim Families, but I should have been able to...that was the point of the pack. After trying really hard to save the file from a backup, twice, I laid it to rest. And with the start of this new file I am being really really mindful of anything that might be a sign of corruption in this save.

But one thing that has me excited to start over is some of the Legacy Lore connections I've added into my Sims 4 custom save, including Bella Goth's brother, Michael Bachelor. I've added him in my save as a single father to his teenage son, Michael Bachelor Jr., because I do think it's fun to use the past lore, but also remix it in a fresh take. And in my take, he had an amicable shared custody relationship with his son's mother, up until the point she passed away. Since her death, Jr. has now come to live with his father in Ravenwood and they are both figuring out what it means to live with each other. And I am sure Michael will need the advice of his sister along the way.

So starting over was hard, but as I finish up the final details of the save I'm starting to get excited again to start another long-play save where the Main TS4 Goths are not only in my rotation, but Michael and Micheal Jr. are also in the save. I'm excited to play Cassandra and Michael Jr's story as teenage cousins. I'm excited for the new possibilities and the stories that have yet to happen.
