A New Recruit

This is a comic based off my tf Cyberverse x tf Animated crossover!! Deadend meets Soundwave! And who to say a family isn’t a kid you found in the sewers and the weird situationship you have with your roommate who you’ve tried to kill! ^-^

The dialogue will be under the images!

Deadend : (Huh, underground tunnels. Big too, with how small are why need tunnels so big?)

Deadend : (Not complaining tho. Can get around the city without problems. Already mapping out this place.)

Deadend : (What's with the flashing light?)

Deadend : A-a cassette?

*Soundwave flashes the Deception symbol*

Deadend : Another con! And here I thought there was only four.

Deadend : Guess you can't speak the way you are.

Deadend : I'm also assuming you can't transform. Is there a manually way to make you transform?

Soundwave : *YES*

Deadend : At least you can still communicate.

Deadend : Don't worry little cassette, I'll get you up and forming. Just gotta get… to the base.

Deadend : Just gotta get out the tunnels.

Deadend : I didn't really think this out.

Deadend : Guess I should find your joints. But got to be careful to not break you.

Deadend : Flash red if anything hurts.

Soundwave : *OK*

Deadend : There! Didn't take long.

Deadend : Only took 34 humans hours. And got a power source to power you up.

Deadend : Lets wake you up!

Deadend ( Hmm.. He looks… familiar)

Deadend : Woah- Okay power surge. You good?

Deadend : Let's get those off. Now can you talk?

Soundwave : Yerr- Yes. Yes! I can move. I am functional… Thank you.

Soundwave : What is your name?

Deadend : Right. I'm Deadend. How about you?

Soundwave : I am Soundwave.

Deadend : … Well, Soundwave, nice to meet you.

Soundwave : Likewise. I appreciate you for helping me.

Soundwave : Now, where is Megatron?

Deadend: Ohh, right, Megatron.

Deadend : Ohhh, wellll~

Hot Rod : Sentinel prime is here!

Soundwave : Aut-

Deadend : WHAT!?

Hot Rod : Not only that! You would not-

Hot Rod : Wo- woah, who's that?

Soundwave : Autobot. Deadend, why is a traitorous Autobot doing here?!

Deadend : Umm, okay. Look this may- not look so good.

Deadend : Just- Let me- us explain! And let me convince you to not only not eat us out our base but to also not tell a spark about, um, us.

Soundwave : And why should I listen to a traitor

Deadend : Because I just fixed you up?

Deadend : Also, think that not saying a word about us or place as a favor for fixing you up.

Soundwave : … Logical reason.

Deadend : Alright.

Soundwave : Now, explain. Why trust an Autobot with your base?

Deadend : Umm, well-

Hot Rod : I'm a better storyteller than Deadend.

Hot Rod : I'm Hot Rod. And quite a long time ago after a big battle we both crashed here and had a tough time on this planet.

And at the time it was the two of us. Soooo we chose to work together to stay alive! So this base is ours, which means if you’re going to stick around than expect me around.

Soundwave : Question : Why still work together if both Autobots and Decepticons are now on this planet?

Deadend : This is when a interject.

I've met the other cons but.. They were too annoying, and I couldn't really trust them.

Soundwave : What of Megatron? Deadend does not trust Megatron.

Deadend : Wow, a loyal com aren't you? Guess that you owe one to Megatron.

Soundwave : Of course, I, Soundwave, is the creation of the Lord Megatron!

Deadend & Hot Rod : …

Hot Rod : Megatron. He created you?

Soundwave : Correct.

Deadend : Did he even know you were is the tunnels?

Hot Rod : You found him where?

Soundwave : … Megatron did not know…

Deadend : Why were you even in those tunnels?

Soundwave : I was left there because of AUTOBOTS!

Hot Rod : Okay, okay I get it. Your anger to Autobots is understandable!

But I promise that I won't let a single Autobot hurt you again.

Deadend : Wow a promise from Hot Rod.

You really don't want him to hate you.

Deadend : But look kid you can go back to your creator. All I ask is that you don't speak to our wear abouts.

Deadend : And if anything happens… I guess you can come back. Considering that you were left behind in the tunnels I have a feeling that your “creator” wasn't really searching for you.

Soundwave : Soundwave appreciates the offer but will not be returning. Soundwave is sure.

Deadend : Yeah, sure. I haven't even met Megatron but the other cons don't seem to be looking for anyone.

Hot Rod : How old even are you?

Soundwave : …

Deadend : That's actually a good question.

Soundwave : … Soundwave is… What is the date today?

Hot Rod : Umm, let's seee it's *date of arrival of Ultra Magnus*

Soundwave : Soundwave is 6 months old.

Deadend & Hot Rod : What ?¡

Hot Rod : Yeah, I don't think Megs a good caretaker.

Soundwave : Autobot does not know what he's talking about.

No matter. Soundwave will take leave. Soundwave will likely not return. Grateful for help but now this is goodbye.

Deadend : Umm sure. See you around I guess.

Deadend : Sentinel Prime is here!?

Hot Rod : I don't think I could talk about that after what just happened. I need you to explain.

2 days later

Hot Rod : Hmm…

Soundwave : What is Autobot doing?

Hot Rod : Ahh!!

Soundwave? What are you doing here?

Soundwave : *mumbles*

Hot Rod : Huh? What you said?

Soundwave : Deadend was right…

Hot Rod : …

Ohh

Soundwave : Soundwave thought all was going well but I overheard that I was underwhelming. That if I was the perfect creation that I would have come back months ago.

Soundwave even failed on taking down the Autobots. I failed my creator.

Hot Rod : Well, isn't he the leader of the Decepticons.so he'll have high expectations. And you've only been alive for a few months,you aren't experienced in a lot of things.

Soundwave : … Autobot explanation is logical. But otherwise I've failed my creator.

Hot Rod : Well- *sigh* I can't change your mind. But what are you doing walking around the streets?

Soundwave : Soundwave has thought over Deadend offer.

Hot Rod : Oh really! So you coming over to the warehouse?

Soundwave : … Yes. I am curious over you two.

Hot Rod : Curious over us? How come?

Soundwave : … I asked Megatron if there are other Decepticons on Earth.

Hot Rod : Oh? And what did the big guy say?

Soundwave : Megatron mentions Deadend. He said : Deadend is a traitor who has betrayed the cause. I asked how and Megatron responded that Deadend withheld an all-spark shard.

HotRod : Ooooh! I see what's going on! You want to get your hands on our shard to get on the big guy's good side!

Soundwave : What! Autobot is talking nonsense!

Hot Rod : Chill, but sorry to disappoint but we're not giving up the shard.

Hot Rod : But you can still hang out with us. Get away from the hard life of going out into fights.

Soundwave : …

What reason is the shard needed?

Hot Rod : Welll you know how powerful the all-spark is whole?

Soundwave : No.

Hot Rod : What? Did Megatron not tell you anything about the all-spark?

Soundwave : Its fragments are needed.

Hot Rod : Well, the all-spark is what gave us our spark.

Soundwave : I did not come from the all-spark.

Hot Rod : What? Where you came from then?

Soundwave : The human child’s key.

Hot Rod : Sari's key? That came from the all-spark.

Soundwave : What

Hot Rod : Yeah, so if you came from the key then you came from the all-spark.

Soundwave : …

Hot Rod : Wait- wait, you came from Sari's key? Didn't Megatron create you?

Soundwave : You did not ask about me to the other Autobots?

Hot Rod : Nah, I just guessed that you all fought and all that jazz.

Hot Rod : But I guess that's not all, is it?. So how good of a storyteller are you?

Do you know the human child birthday?

This is the longest comic ToT 5 pages long! But not long after I thought of my tfcv & tfa crossover and remembered Soundwave existed in tfa as a wee small lad I immediately explored. And I know there is an amazing creative person (crispy-art-on-fire go see their artwork it literally makes me insane ToT and read their Shockdad fic) on this app that has made Soundwave get adopted but that person used Shockwave in the tfa universe while my Soundwave parents aren't even from his universe. The threes dynamic has been running all around my minddd :(((Also!! I have not started on season 3 so idk if they collected ALL the shards but the all-spark like shattered into a bunch of fragments so I don’t doubt there’ll be some just laying around.

I like to think that as Soundwave spends more time around the two (mostly Deadend because he isn’t out hanging with the other cons) he warms up to the two of them and doesn’t really want to go back to the cave. There’s like so much I wanted to add but felt like too much ToT Like how Deadend explains the “underground tunnels” and Hot Rod being disgusted that he found Soundwave in the sewers. Also Hot Rod did not meet Ultra Maguns, Sentinel, or Jazz he just came over and Bumblebee told him about them and then he just dipped, he wanted from a far just to see how they look. The repair crew did mention Hot Rod as “the out of date explorer”. Hot Rod would totally nickname Soundwave “Boombox” after finding out what he was made for (or disguised as) and Soundwave slowly getting around to it.

Things in Cyberverse that I can’t not just get over

For those who have not seen cyberverse, plz do, it’s great 10/10 recommends :3

Am going not going to a specific order other then what is on the top of my mind to least on my mind

Wheeljack and HIS GOSH DARN BLACK HOLE GUN

This thought was the start of this whole post. Ever since I saw the scene of Bumblebee shooting the gun and Hot Rod near going In SAYING “Meet you on the other side!!” Crazy. Like first off why does Wheeljack have that laying around with his other guns??? Why not have it in a secure place? Second off why did he invent that. Am CONVINCED HE invented it because in like the next episode we see Shockwave’s lab and he has created things Wheeljack have ,except the black hole gun. Shockwave, if he had a black hole gun, would have found a use for that thing. And if Wheeljack took it from Shockwave then I think Shockwave would have mentioned it. But he doesn’t. And he knew what that gun did! He yelled “No!” When Bee took it and fired.

Dude, if I was Hot Rod and experienced nearly getting suck into a black hole omg. I would just never shut up about it. And he never mentions it ,like, ever after that! It’s crazy, he was fully convinced he was going to die and AGHH!!….. I think if I wrote more I would be repeating myself but I need y’all to know that I think Wheeljack is just a bit more insane then Shockwave just because of that darn black hole gun.

Team Hot Rod (Hot Rod, Bumblebee, and Cheetor)

This trio is so cute :( I quite loved the episode where they just surf. But imagine how Bumblebee felt that he came down with the All-Spark with his two best friends and came out alone. He couldn’t find Hot Rod so he persuaded him dead, he witnessed Cheetor die in front of him, like bro must have went back up deflated. I just imagine him running into Windblades arm and just holding her and Windblade comforting him as they slowly walk away ToT. Also I think it’s cruel that they never mention Cheetor ever again. Blurr shows up again after being dead for over 70 billions years or something but Cheetor who was kinda a main character in season 2 and omg the dead seekers they never get talked about- umm anyway I think it would be totally awesome if they showed Hot Rod looking for Cheetor in the sea of people since he did see him in a parade and being absolutely destroyed after finding out he’s dead.

Shadow striker, just her in general

Her having to reteach herself on how to hold weapons and do basic things with her body after getting new limbs after an explosion that should have killed her is like a sad yet inspiring story. Like her not giving up on herself, sure she could no longer use the weapons she used to use but her determination on getting revenge and winning the war made her even stronger then how she was before. I love how at the end of it all she’s able to feel comfortable in her self and no longer glitches.

Also wish they show a bit more of her frenemies thing she had with Prowl was shown more because it just like wild that someone she sort cared about is now dead because of her. I also think that when Megatron Shadow feel sadness over killing Prowl made him think she isn’t a true con so that’s why in season 3 she became that part of the cons that was left out of his plans. Also Soundwave and Shadow striker friendship is just great. FGAHH She took Lazerbeak when he died :((( they were such a killer duo and honestly the highlight of season 2.

The parades

The parade in one of the two special episodes (season 4? Idk seen ppl say season 4 but I think it’s more of a special ep) must have been hard for Hot Rod. He absolutely HATED the parade as it was there to fit him there, unlike the others. The scientist coded the parade to keep everyone in there (except perceptor, he’s too perceptive for that) it was created to entertain them. As seen when Clobber went in after getting out, she enjoyed the parade. Whirl keep getting crushed.. Deadend, he didn’t quite enjoy it all but he was still entertained. Don’t know what Soundwave was doing, probably on the roofs with Shadow striker making fun of everyone else.

But Hot Rod he wasn’t even a thought in peoples minds. When he said Optimus said Hot Rod and Hot Rod was happy he remembered him imply that Hot Rod show that not only did the code completely forgot about him but also imply that the minds of those were alter to not worry about anything other then the parade. Clobber couldn’t even remember how the Quintessences came about. And Hot Rod had to experience the loop like more then 100 times!! Being aware of the loop is like torture.

And so imagine after all the horrors everyone decides to finally get along and throw a celebration for it! … A parade. I know for a FACT that Hot Rod did not agree to have the peace treaty be a parade. When I first saw they were throwing a parade I thought “Omg The loop has begun, is Hot Rod going to go through all that again?! ToT” but it wasn’t which was cool. But I just imagine Hot Rod transforming every once in a while to ensure he isn’t in a loop. It’s crazy they could have done a party in one area or maybe have many people showcase memories or something expect a parade ToT.

The transformers in Cyberverse gotta be the oldest transformers

They crashed on earth when dinosaurs were walking. They were in stasis for at most 65 million years because that’s how long ago dinosaurs were alive for. But that’s not all they have been at war wayyy longer like it had to been a long time for the whole planet destroyed and it’s just wild to be! OPTIMUS AND MEGATRON ARE PROBABLY OLDER THEN EARTH IT SELF!! Like everyone (except Cheetor) has gotta be billions properly TRILLION years old. They’re old. I saw a post about it here and was so happy someone else noticed it.

A Shadow in the Dark

This comic is based off my tf animated x tf Cyberverse crossover!! I put dialogue on the bottom of the pages bc they can be small to read and also has better spelling and grammar then the page it self :p Hope you enjoy it!

Sari : Bumblebee! Look at this! What do you think it is?

Bumblebee : Isn’t that the umm Chupe-cara creature?

Sari : It’s Chupa-cabra, and no it isn’t. Chupacabras aren’t THAT big.

Prowl : Is this “Chupar-Carba” another of those make-up monsters?

Sari : Chupacabras are real… I think. But they are mostly in South America.

Sari :I think…

Sari : But this here isn’t a Chupacabra. It’s just down town, maybe we could check it out?

Prowl : Umm I think you should return Fanzone’s phone. Also how do you know this is real?

Sari : Umm I’m sure there’s more stuff on this shadow creature.

Sari : Woah! There’s a lot on this shadow!

Prowl : Really?

Sari: And these posts are all from downtown.

Prowl : Well it’s a bit concerning that this shadow is always hiding.

Bumblebee : Creature’s giving me the creeps.

Prowl : Maybe it’s safe if we check downtown just to make sure this creature does no harm.

Ratchet : What do you mean “Other autobots”?

Hot Rod : Hold on… This planet isn’t a cybertron colonie. Why are you guys here?

Ratchet : You sure are a curious bot

Hot Rod : I mean can you blame me? I haven’t seen other autobots in … years, I think.

Sari : Hold on.. If you been on earth for years, how come we’re just finding about you?

Hot Rod : Well, I had just came into the city. Been kinda adventuring this planet a bit.

Sari : Woah! You’re been around the world!?!

Hot Rod : Not ALL over but a good amount.

Bumblebee : Woah! So you’ve been out of Detroit? You’ve seen cool races out there?! There aren’t many here.

Optimus : We can all talk at base, Sari needs to rest soon.

Sari : Awwe do I really have to?

Optimus : Yes, you know humans need rest.

Prowl : oh! We should probably introduce ourselves. I’m Prowl

Am not typing their names, the whole repair crew + Sari say their names.

Hot Rod : Well! How great to meet you all!

Hot Rod : (Should I say my name? Do they know me?? I’m just do it. I’ll explain to Deadend later.)

Hot Rod : … I’m Hot Rod.

Sari : We’ll, it’s nice to meet you Hot Rod! Glad you’re not a creepy monster or decepticon!

Hot Rod : Ohh!! Right, decepticons! Now I get why you have the axe.

Ratchet :… Most have more of a reaction to hearing cons.

Prowl : You’re… Not shocked?

Hot Rod : I mean, we’ve been fighting cons for years. Why would I be shocked?

Repair crew : …

Optimus : You think we’re still at war?

Hot Rod : Are-are we not?

Ratchet : How long have you been on this planet?

Hot Rod : Umm who’s that behind ya?

Optimus : Captain Fanzone!

Sari : Hey, where’s Hot Rod

This was longer than my last tfa x tfcv and wayy more dialogue T-T but it was quite fun to do!! I sadly got lazy towards the end, I wanted to draw more but, am kinda drawing the end of my sketchbook and idk when I will go out to buy a new one T-T also didn’t want to actually do more.

But the repair crew meet Hot Rod!! Yippee!! I thought they would have find out about him through the internet but then I realized that Sari does not have a phone so I used Fanzone’s. Idk I thought she did have a phone TxT Sorry I only gave Bulkhead one line of dialogue </3 I didn’t know where else to put him </3 also I knew I wanted this comic to end with Hot Rod but didn’t know how until I remembered that Sari has Fanzone phone and it would be after curfew so he be around.

The moment Hot Rod dipped he immediately went to Deadend everything. Deadend, who knew he would get caught one way or another, calls him an idiot and lucky that they don’t know or even have a Hot Rod. Idk if I said this b4 but Deadend is a bit paranoid over others finding their from another. So it’s him and Hot Rod against the universe, for now. But I do believe his paranoia is from his universe being gone and other the Quintessons were, as they were out of universe species, technically, so he’s scared that the people of other universes would want to try and hurt them two for knowledge or for science. And he doesn’t trust cons or bots so he decided that they both be quite from not being from this world.

My interpretation on a scene on one of my fave ongoing fics, Glimmer by BeneathAScorpionSky! I really love the idea of these Cyberverse cast ending up in the (alternate) MTMTE universe-- and this scene in particular caught me because, well, I like Roddy! Been a while since I did comic-form and I decided not to colour the rest of the panels :P

Hot Rod and Deadend mainly been on my mind ^-^ so I drew them a bit. Idk what I was doing for these poses and face expressions ToT but it was fun to do!

I love Emo Hot Rod <3 he will always be my favorite emo <3 I also like drawing on eyeliner and all that, it’s fun :3

Whirlll!!!!

I accidentally got the EXACT color of the background of Ibis paint ToT so I decided to run with it. I also!! Color Whirl neon lines yellow to match his eye bc everyone else lines matched their eyes

These are drawings I did at school while I had free time ^-^ so I didn’t really have a reference, except for Deadend legs. They were a pain to do so when I got home I just looked at a drawing I did of his legs T-T

Felt the lighting for Whirl and Deadend were meh :p but I do like how I did Hot Rod! Tho felt like I made the legs a bit disconnected it’s alright for me.

Also I have come up a ship name for Whirl and Deadend which would be Whirlend ^-^ I should post more about them :p I love them <3

Soo I was re-watching Cyberverse, because I love seeing my favorite characters interact with each other- and I’m re-watching the Quintessence (I think that’s how you spell it) arc and I just realized the face Deadend does when he finally climbs the ladder

ToT I can’t get over how silly he looks. He’s pissed off for being out in the open and for have fallen from the ladder the blind guy seemed to have gone up just fine

He judging HARD, bro does not want to be there-

I just found it funny lol, he so silly and I love him. And everyone else of the quintessence arc crew in general. I love Cyberverse

If I had a nickel for every time a favorite character of my jumped off a high place ,despite not being able to fly, survive. I would have two nickels, which isn’t a lot but weird that it happened twice

Y’all should watch Cyberverse- Just give it a shottt!! It’s my favorite show ever since I watched it ToT

If tfp smokescreen and Cyberverse Hot Rod were to meet due to a crossover or sm I think they’ll get along. Now that am thinking about it… they are kinda similar in which they would to nearly anything to save or protect their love ones, even if it meant death to them. Both got that kind of egotistical attitude at face value but they are extremely selfless.

When I first watch prime I kinda thought I wouldn’t like smokescreen. Like when I saw him for the first time I was like “oh nice, some new guy is in the team. Anyway- where’s starscreammm” (am a Starscream prime fan) but after a few episodes I thought they were kinda harsh on him (especially Arcee) and then he I was like “omg… This guy is smart?? Actually using the relics bc they were just sitting there and knows how to use it, oh boy. He’s cool :]!!!” And then the final hit. When I saw that smokescreen came back for prime and him just sticking around him and helping in anyway he can?? Gahh! He became my favorite character when he used the relic but as the episodes went by I just loved him even more.

Only for not only did Optimus not give him a fly (which was kinda rude ngl, unless Smokescreen passed out once he finished reviving prime) but he did not get much focus in season 3 :(( (honestly season 3 was kinda a blur for me ToT) but I was happy to see him in the movie finally. I understand why he didn’t get enough screen time as wheeljack came in as well as Ultra Mangus but still sad nonetheless.

Hot Rod : …We’re on earth.

Deadend : Earth? As where you guys foun-… But it isn’t the one you were on?

Hot Rod : …No, it isn’t.

Deadend : Well… If it’s earth enough can you explain this white stuff?

Hot Rod : It’s called snow. Frozen water, water is like the energon of earth. Covers this planet.

Deadend: Well do you know where we are?

Hot Rod : It’s a different universe. One place could be a completely another place…. Also if it’s the same to ours earth I would not be able to tell where we are.

Deadend : Woah, what a helpful guide you are.

Hot Rod : W-Well! … We got to find a place to stay.

Deadend : Fine. And then what? Wait for a miracle to happen?

Hot Rod : We could scout this place out and maybe find stuff to make a universe com or bridge.

Deadend : Surprise you thought of anything pass find a hide out.

Hot Rod : Thehe- Jey! I’ve learned a thing or two.

Hot Rod : But whatever happens let’s stick together. Sounds like a plan?

Deadend : …It’s better then nothing.

Full page! Haven’t drawn a comic in years- and this is very different from how I used to do it! While writing the dialogue I realize I made a ton of spelling mistakes and some sentences seem incomplete T-T. This is why I should read over my stuff :p

Your animated and cyberverse crossover is so incredibly real for that. I love your writings about Hot Rod and his interactions between the crew and Dead End.

I would love to see what's happening on Dead End's side of things.

Maybe when he's bored waiting for Hot Rod, he came across illegal racing and just joins for the heck of it.

Or imagine he came across Swindle that maybe back in his universe, he knew the guy and would hate to interact with him but he needs resources to get by so he makes dealings with him. In Swindle's view, as soon as he knows his name, maybe he apparently heard Dead End as part of the Decepticon's Stunt Actors along with the rest of the Stunticons and probably thinks he's a big fan that he named himself after him. In Dead End's case, reading out that apparently he lost his family and imagining that they're alive in this universe with their own Dead End becomes more sullen with that fact.

Or maybe even the rest of the Decepticons! Like meeting Lugnut imagining he's like Clobber only to have his expectations flipped because of his blind loyalty of Megatron. He doesn't really join in the fights because he doesn't even vibe with the other Decepticons and considering this isn't his universe.

And finally him meeting the repair bridge crew when he and Hot Rod eventually smooth things out between them. Not sure what their interactions would be like but it's fun to imagine.

I love the thoughts on what you think Deadend doing, I do have few thoughts on what Deadend does on his own and Deadend would so not vibe with them T-T.

I like to think that the first con he comes by is Blitzwing, I think it’s while he’s stealing stuff and he has something Megatron wants, maybe Deadend and Hot Rod crush in after season 2 so let’s say Deadend has a All-Spark shard, and Blitzwing is about to blast him until he transforms and see the decepticon symbol. So Blitzwing would think he’s bring it to Megatron and so he tells Deadend that he knows where Megatron is and to follow him. Deadend is a little taken aback from the sudden switch (I mean literally, he face switches lol) and he was about to fallow, just so he can see how the cons are in this universe, only for Blitzwing to fly off without him. And he’s just standing there, and then dips to his and Hot Rod’s hide out. Blitzwing, not realizing Deadend is does not fly, flys to the con mine only to realize Deadend isn’t there. He gets upset and thinks Deadend is keeping the shard himself (which he kinda is) and tells Megatron of the lost shard and that a random con ran off with it.

Not the best introduction, and when Blitzwing meets Deadend again while out in the forest. Lugnut is with him this time so when Deadend spots Lugnut he immediately says “Clobber?” A little hope lights up in him, thinking how maybe he could be friends with this universe Clobber and maybe have someone else to hang with other than Hot Rod. Lugnut, obviously not named Clobber, corrects Deadend on his name and then yells at him about being a traitor to Megatron and all that jazz, and Deadend hopes die right then and there. Deadend augers back on how he has a ground alt-mode and was unable to follow Blitzwing. Blitzwing, doesn’t apologize and just brush pass that, ask where the shard is so they all could go to the con hide out and bring it to Megatron.

Deadend decides that he will not hand over the shard because 1) he doesn’t have it and does not want to give out his and Rod’s base and 2) he is not losing the thing that could potentially get him and Hot Rod back to their old crew. So he drives off and says they can’t have it, of course the others give a chase. Deadend drives into the city to lose them, which he does thanks to the Autobots and Hot Rod. Once Hot Rod see Deadend is the one being chase he immediately pulls out his gun to who ever is closest to Deadend, which would be Lugnut. Hot Rod would be stunned at seeing who he shot but he can’t dwell on that while Deadend has another jet after him so he takes another shot. And then he drives off himself before the cons could enact their revenge, now busy with the Autobot crew.

The two end up in their hide out and Deadend explains what happened and who this universe Clobber is. So Deadend kinda has a bad rep on the con’s side, not even knowing his name they call him “red car”, so Deadend isn’t really hanging with the cons. So he spends a whole week in the hide out, Hot Rod stays with him throughout that week. Those two definitely have attachment issues, I mean who wouldn’t? Especially after what they went through ToT

I think he will be exploring the city and of course going races when he feels like it. Maybe going into some races to win whatever prize they got going on and drive off without a interview. Think he’ll be called ghost car by street races that see him around.

Just thought of this omg, it would be so cool if he found Soundwave when he’s exploring the sewers and gets him back up and take him to the hide out to help him and what not. Gahh :(( Soundwave in tfa is basically, not basically, IS a sparkling so Deadend helps Soundwave with his stolen items and just takes him in basically. He hears Soundwave out and what happened to him, so then Deadend realizes that this universe Soundwave is a sparkling left on his own and was beaten up by the Autobot crew. So of course Deadend gotta tell Soundwave he lives with a Autobot, of course Soundwave is on guard and Deadend tries to reassure him that Hot Rod isn’t like the other bots he met.

At least tfa Soundwave doesn’t look like the Soundwave they know of so it’s a little less hurtful seeing him. Everything around them reminds them of home or their friends :((. I think tfa Soundwave would not leave from behind or the side of Deadend when every Hot Rod is near.Deadend is trustworthy to him (even if he technically is against his creator) while Hot Rod has to earn his respect which is far, ya know.

Gosh now am think of the two of them taking care of tfa Soundwave while trying to contact to their team.

Also! Like it to be know am only in season 2 the episode where the meet swindle! I know Soundwave comes up again later but there’s nothing wrong with disrupting the timelineee.

But something I did not discuss is the relationship dynamics or friendships in general between the tfa crew and Hot Rod. I mainly think of Hot Rod interacting with them because Deadend would probably be redundant to do so. So I’m mainly gonna talk about Hot Rod interacting with the tfa crew.

Also I would like it to de known! I’m still currently watching Tf animated, right now I finished the episode where they introduced Swindle. So I know like a bit of spoilers ahead but I’m still trying to get a grasp on the characters, ya know? I have watch tf Cyberverse like 3 times now :p Love the show <3 from beginning to end <3

So now I’m gonna write how I think Hot Rod and the tfa crew would interact with the each others!

Hot Rod and Bumblebee. Bee would be a little suspicious of Hot Rod for his sneakiness and him not wanting to stay at the base with them. But he does warm up to him, and thinks he’s a cool guy. Hot Rod would probably see Bee racing or going fast and tell him some of his time of races he did. Bumblebee isn’t sure if he’s lying or not since for one he never transforms and two when ever he asks to race him Hot Rod always denies despite saying he’ll probably beat him. But he’s advise on racing do work so he might have raced before, Bee isn’t sure why he doesn’t anymore. Hot Rod would totally let Bee talk for hours on end and talk back on hours on end. Hot Rod would be a little protective of Bee, making sure he doesn’t get himself into much trouble. Bee looks up to Hot Rod, and not just literally, he thinks the stories he tells are cool, tho he does wish to see them instead of hearing them.

Hot Rod would totally be vague about his stories, try not to mention names, not naming places, he wants to be careful with his words. He isn’t sure if they would actually believe he’s from another universe and maybe the places he would name could be completely different from how it was in his old home.

Hot Rod and Bulkhead. Hot Rod never met the Bulkhead of his universe, so this Bulkhead is completely new to him. He finds his art amazing and praises him any chance he gets to see it, he always got something new to say. Bulkhead thinks Hot Rod is cool, he expected him to kinda be like Bumblebee and was a bit taken aback when he isn’t one to go head first into something reckless. Hot Rod would show Bulkhead pictures of his cybertron, he would say it’s picture he took while exploring outer galaxies, or his time on earth. Pictures were more of Arcee thing but he did enjoy holding some memories of places he’s been to, now more than ever.

Hot Rod came up with a background story with Deadend after getting caught by the Autobots. It was Deadend idea as they would ask about him and what’s he doing here, Hot Rod was going to wing it. So his backstory is that he was exploring the galaxy but crashed on earth and been stuck here for about two years. And he’s surprise that this universe earth is geographically similar to the one from his universe.

Also, Hot Rod would not be a troublemaker, he goofs and do reckless stuff but he could be responsible when he wants to. One kinda needs to when one is a part of war.

Hot Rod and Prowl. Prowl is quite amazed on how sneaky Hot Rod could be when he wants to (he’s a scout so I imagine he would be sneaky enough to pass by places). Those two would get the others to play hide and seek and slowly watch from a far as they loss their minds looking for each other. Hot Rod would usually get out of his spot and stand in the middle of the room until they realize, Prowl would sneak up behind them and scare them. Prowl would also express his love for the planet nature and Hot Rod would listen or tell Prowl of his own thoughts or experience with the planet nature.

Prowl love for nature is so sweet :(( he would totally explore the other parts of the planet if the cons weren’t on the planet, and also to protect the All-spark.

Hot Rod and Ratchet. Ratchet is so suspicious of Hot Rod, for one he doesn’t let him check him up to check if he has anything wrong, two he just runs off and usually provides no explanation and doesn’t show where he’s staying. But he’s a bit glad he isn’t another reckless idiot, he doesn’t get hurt as often as the other do and he seems to actually know what he’s doing most of the time. But he doesn’t like Hot Rod filling Bumblebee head with racers stories, he hadn’t even seen the guy transform so how could one know of what he’s saying is true!? Hot Rod respects Ratchet, not only because of his previous experience with him, but also he knows what it likes to live through a war and it seems like it hit this Ratchet hard.

Ratchet would only believes what he’s hearing once he sees it, he won’t take things at face value.

Hot Rod and Optimus. Optimus is a little unsure of Hot Rod, he’s kind to everyone even him but he acts so strange. He can’t help but agree with Ratchet that there’s something up about him, but he can’t pin point what it is. Hot Rod can’t help but think about how different this Optimus is compared to his Optimus, well every universe is different so he doesn’t put much pressure on this Optimus.

I can’t think of anything else for those two TxT I think it’s more my part on not really having a good grasp of the tfa characters :p

Hot Rod and Sari. Hot Rod have had interactions with humans before, but never someone so young as Sari so she’s a new side of humans he will be seeing. Sari is a clear hugger and quite open with her feelings so she’s really upset on how Hot Rod distances himself from her. She has tried to sneak up to him and hug his leg from behind, but it seems that when ever she’s out of his sight or a ton of humans around he seems to be extra aware of his surroundings. She hears his story and one day hopes to get a ride from him or see his alt-mode, she doesn’t get why he’s so secretive.

These interactions would take place after like 3 months after meeting Hot Rod. Also Hot Rod would also spend days away from the tfa crew to hang out with Deadend even if he doesn’t want to. Also Hot Rod would decorate their hide out with stuff he finds either on the side of the road being ready to be trashed or in the trashed, and Deadend would also decorate because he thinks Hot Rod doesn’t have the best style and he would get his stuff from grabbing and going. Stealing.

I think that could be a way for the tfa crew finding out about about Deadend, is his stealing. Random red car comes up and just snatches stuff and drives off, no one could catch him.

Okay, there’s like less than a handful of tfp x tfa crossovers, which are very cool! But hear me out, tf cyberverse x tf animated crossover

Idk if Cyberverse is tfc or tfcv :p

I really can’t get the crossover out of my head, but Cyberverse is the PERFECT tf version to be able to cross universes, and it has (tho not to other shows sadly) it may be that after I watched Cyberverse and is now my favorite show but there needs to be more content of it :((. That show makes me actively crazy and I will not hide it, to those who see my page it may not seem like it but- I haven’t even expressed how much I actually love it.

Anyway- to the crossover! I think specifically that Hot Rod and Deadend crash onto Detroit, and for this crossover universe background, the amazing group that is Quintession arc group could not save their universe, they had to flee on a Quintession ship, like those spare ones on the side ya know? They flee being able to damage the main ship enough to be unable to fly and travel dimensions- but since they never really have any knowledge on dimension travel and all that stuff, I mean Preceptor can only know so much, and so an accident happens and it opens a portal to another dimension-(woah! Who would have saw that coming?) and the two to fall in the portal before it closes are of course Hot Rod and Deadend.

Now, the two red dudes are in a completely different universe with only one having some knowledge of Earth. And I really like it when the toxic energon has negative effects on Hot Rod, he’s unable to transform, run for a long amount of time, and he burns to the touch. So technically only one of the two can go out and scout the place but Deadend has absolutely no knowledge of earth, so their both in a pickle. To solve this pickle case Hot Rod would teach Deadend the basics that he learned when he was on earth and when Deadend went out to scout he would keep coms with Hot Rod, even if he doesn’t want to.

Now, of course the tfa crew aren’t exactly hiding themselves and so Deadend is able to find them out quick, and learns additional knowledge about this world’s earth and told Hot Rod about it, who is sitting totally (not) patiently in an abandoned warehouse. And so they think that they could fly by totally unnoticed, or more so Hot Rod, and so they both go scouting. Deadend could go into more open areas where cars could drive while Hot Rod sneak around alleyways, mostly at night since he could blend in a little more.

Of course rumors go around of a black robot hiding in alleyways gain some attraction, more so in the internet so Sari finds out about it and shows it to the other Autobots. She shows an picture of two blurry blue eyes, Big foot kind of picture ya know? So the Autobots assume it’s a rouge robot of Sumdac idk if I want this to be after or before season 2, I wanna say after just for fun but idk haven’t really thought much of when. But the Autobots check it out, and Hot Rod being a used to have to work with his surrounds to not get killed doesn’t get caught by him until a rat stuck up on him, embarrassing I know. And so when the tfa crew find Hot Rod they see is Autobot symbol first and foremost and they ask him for his name, and Hot Rod mentally prepares himself to explain that the multiverse is real and he’s not from their world, because he thinks there is already a Hot Rod in this universe. Except he doesn’t have to because they move on without recognizing his name, he’s a little bummed out that him and Bumblebee aren’t friends in every universe.

And so once they find out he’s another Autobot they invite him to their place, and to ask other question and stuff like that. And since Hot Rod knows Deadend will be waiting for him and can’t com him out of the blue because what if Deadend is a well known name and he doesn’t want to completely destroy the Autobots trust, so he runs off or more sneak off because he doesn’t want to vomit on the side of the rode. When the Optimus turn back to tell the other to transform and roll out he realizes Hot Rod is gone. Optimus, Bulkhead, Prowl, and Sari think he’s just shy while Bumblebee and Ratchet are little suspicious of him.

Hot Rod told Deadend what happens, get called an idiot and they sit in silence for a bit. And Deadend decides that they could maybe see if the Autobots have anything useful to help them, see if they could get their hands on high tech communication or something of the sorts that if they modify it they could call Preceptor, or anyone else on their team… Mainly Preceptor tho. And Hot Rod doesn’t really like the idea of using the other Autobots, they do need something because they are just driving (or walking) aimlessly around the place. So he decides to he will hang out with them from time to time, not completely stay with them but just hangs out.

Now of course there are many things going around my head so I don’t have a solid story wrap around, most of my head is filled with interactions and reactions to some things. So I will share a few ideas that I have on replay:

Deadend and Hot Rod looking over the city from far away. Like, Hot rod finds Deadend on the edge of Lake Erie watching the sun go down, and he sits next to him. Just relaxing for a moment before Deadend speaks up to say how he hates the planet and how the creatures could the way they do and Hot Rod would share stories of his time of their earth terrifying or just dumb little things. And they would just sit side by side to each other talking away or not talking at all. Maybe the tfa crew would be behind them after finding out about Deadend and just watching them interact with each other, wondering what happened for those two to be friends.

Hot Rod messing with Sari. Hot Rod has knowledge of earth and the strange or funny things they do. One things would be roasting marshmallows, Sari would be cold and Hot Rod would say something like “Oh don’t humans out fire on a stick and heat themselves up with that” and when Sari is about to correct him he laughs says he’s messing with her and says he know they get a pile of sticks and heat themselves. Tho he’s not technically wrong on the fire sticks as sparklers do exist.

Along with the fire on the stick I think that’s how they find out Hot Rod name is quite literal. He grabs a stick from a tree and puts it up high as to get other stuff on fire and makes a small fire on the stick. The others are shocked on his creation of being able to make fire, and concern for his ability to control it, which is technically unnecessary because he as been around them for like a month now and he hasn’t cause fire around them. He’s responsible enough to know when to start a fire. I just think fire on a stick would be funny to give to a 9-year old, but I don’t think Hot Rod is that reckless, I mean he doesn’t even let the others touch me.

He doesn’t let the others touch him, no matter what. At first it goes unnoticed but when Bumblebee would try to fist bumb him he would back away. When Bulkhead would try wrap his arm around him he’s about two arms away. When Sari would try to hug him he would panic and back up, and letting Sari fall, which he felt really worried for her because he knows that injuries could happen when humans fall. The only one to ever touch Hot Rod is Deadend because he knows Deadend can handle it and he still craves the feeling of hugging someone.Clobber had thick metal and could hug him no problem the other experience a sting as when he first saw Preceptor when he got to the surface he hugged him and informed Hot Rod that him hugging him burns, sting. So Hot Rod doesn’t know how others will react when they touch him and he doesn’t like hurting someone unknowingly. I can’t decide if Bumblebee or Sari would be the first to experience the burning toxin.For Bee it will burn for sure, maybe even leave a mark, for Sari, oh she would get burn scars for sure, maybe go to the hospital maybe or they would have to take her to her father (idk she not human ToT) , it will be painful, that’s for sure for both.

Hot Rod nearly died and Deadend was nearly left alone. Those two are the only two who can understand each other without having to explain it. They both faced war, the invasion, the losing of all they know of. When they escaped the Quintession Deadend was unmovable for ages, Whirl and Clobber would be the two who would get him moving. He may not find Hot Rod as the best person to be stuck with, he isn’t exactly the worst either so he counts that as a win. If the only other person he knew that kept him sane, Deadend would not try to work harder to find the others. He would be stuck alone on a place he’s stuck on. After said event of Hot Rod nearly deactivation Deadend would have broken down right then and there, yelling how the Autobots are so selfless and that they need to start thinking about more than those around them, and at some point it would Deadend saying how Hot Rod already sacrificed himself for his friends and look how he ended up. And then I think that would lead up to them looking at the sunset together.

That could be sorta out of character for Deadend, but honestly wouldn’t losing all you had, friends, family (in this case the stunticons), everything make you hold onto the last things or people you have. For me it would

The tfa crew finding out about Deadend. HUGEEE distrust for Hot Rod there. This one I think they would like attack Deadend and maybe they say something like “Can’t run now con!” Or something around those lines but then Hot Rod would get in front of Deadend or attack one of the others so Deadend could escape. Feeling really guilty over it but felt he had to no other choice. Not one I thought of to much so it’s like very ehu.

Hot Rod has a gun. Imagine they are battling let’s sayy Blitzwing and suddenly BLOW! He gets shot out of nowhere, and they turn to see Hot Rod holding a gun. They immediately question where he got it and if he’s authorized to use it, but they go unanswered as Blitzwing rises up again. He try’s to not pull out his gun to often.

Hot Rod and Deadend are wayyy older than all of the tfa crew ages combine. Like, the Autoship landed on earth a few years before the astro hit, maybe a few billion. The war has been going long enough for their planet died when the All-spark was lost, which was a long while, like another billion of years and- They are older than earth itself, and I am not doing the math but they are probably the oldest Transformers group. The tfa group to them are sparklings, and they haven’t seen sparklings suchhh a long time. They are old, that’s all.

And that’s all I could muster up! For now- probably after posting this I will get a new 10 ideas or something. But Cyberverse means so much to me and deserves more love <3.

There’s only one thing on my mind, and it’s Cyberverse

Rare pair my thought of when re-watching Cyberverse, Whirl and Deadend

I once again had no idea what to do for the background, background are hard :(

Anywho- yeah! Also while looking back on Deadend I realized he has white eye’s instead of purple… Ehh it’s whatever, also the drawing is from my sketchbook! Here’s it is ^-^

Also I would like to add that their song is “I Want You” by Mitski, favorite song of hers and pretty sure it was the first song I heard of her.

I love Cyberverse so much- can’t get enough of them <3 also since I had my sketchbook out I decided to take pictures of my Cyberverse drawings (mainly of the season 3 group)

I love these two <3 I am kinda happy how they tired out together, but I did draw them two separate!

First drawing of Clobber and was testing out the colors n stuff. For Hotrod I has a vision and it was half what what I was thinking, testing my lighting skills and think it turned out good ^-^

But seriously I need more of their friendship. Look Soundrod, it’s a good friendship and relationship and I get the appeal of Deadend and Preceptor. But Hot rod and Clobber are RIGHT THERE!!! She switched sides, leaving her best friend, only friend, because of the friendship HotRod and Clobber created. Am like so close to creating a fic on the aftermath of the squid infestation and Autobots getting used to Clobber or sm. Gafytsf am going crazy thinking about it :[[ might actually to it tbh bc I feel like someone will not write a Hotrod and Clobber fic, doesn’t even need to be romantic. I just want more on their friendship Xc!!!
