a preset for gshade 3.4.1

opalite is a clear, vibrant preset designed to brighten up the game in virtually all light levels. i made this with gameplay screenshots in mind, but it's lightweight and can be used for pretty much anything! just turn off F11 and F12 if the UI gets too bright.

features/toggle keys

ADOF - F9: autofocus DOF. warning: may look weird if you have F11 on.

CinematicDOF - F10: mouse-directed DOF. has a smaller range than ADOF and is more compatible if you also have F11 on.

MXAO and Lightroom - F12: the heart of opalite. adds depth and brightness.

prod80 Shadows/Midtones/Highlights - F11: use in conjunction with F12 for extra brightening in low light. not recommended on its own.

An obnoxiously insignificant thing but Lord knows I needed it.

So far I’ve seen: vampire teeth, monster teeth, crooked teeth, gap teeth, braces teeth, gold teeth and teeth of all colors.

You know what I haven’t seen so far? Representation for scoundrels with one stupidly large fang sticking out on the side like it’s an in-built can opener. And maybe I haven’t looked well enough, but I’ve already did it myself anyway, and you can have it too.

I never seem to find a CAS background that I’d enjoy. The original blue-green screen is sh!t, black/gray/pink voids are disconcerting, slapping a screenshot onto the backdrop isn’t immersive, littledica’s rooms held up for quite some time – but they’re simply not my style.

So as they say, if I’m going to bitсh about it, may as well just do it myself. Ta-da! A CAS background by me, for me. And for people who, like me, like dusty old carpets and questionable clutter in their interior.

If you’ve been using another custom CAS, remember to remove it from your mod folder beforehand so that you won’t give your game a viоlent case of diаrrhea.

based on @littledica ‘s Old School CAS room, since I adore the layout but need different furnishing choices

no extra swatches as it’s made with my personal taste in mind, but I can be persuaded on this point

featured EP/GP items are part of the mesh and don’t require their respective EP’s/GP’s

pairs really well with @simplyanjuta ‘s CAS lighting

tested with other people’s setups and isn’t prone to crashing the game miserably

and finally, the bar on the mirror stays because I like it that way, and I can’t be persuaded on this point.

TS4 UI Mockups 🌱

Along with my Whimsy Challenge Expanded challenge, I created several UI mockups to mimic TS4′s in-game moodlets, notifications, and more. Feel free to use these alongside your gameplay screenshots!

These are meant to be used with L'Univers Sims’ icon rips from the game, and utilize The Sims Sans fonts. All templates come as editable PSDs, and knowledge of Photoshop / other similar editing software is recommended.

Previous CC - ALL IN ONE DOWNLOAD

Hi guys! I’ve been wanting to create this one big download link for you with all my simsdom cc (before patreon content) so you can grab it all at once without ads if you want to! ^_^

The zip file contains 528 items - 277 packages and 251 preview pictures so you can easily look through the cc and decide what you want to pick. I also included a merged package file if you just want to have everything without picking. I advise to look through the files and see if you have any of them in your mods already, delete the old ones and replace them with the new ones. I updated some of the packages that had bad thumbnails, fixed some that had different flags (for example diamonds watches for men won’t show up for women anymore and the other way around and also children’s alien choker won’t show up for adult females and look like there’s just nothing there lol)

Better Autonomy Beta (Early Access)

Autonomy is a nightmare in Sims—for me, at least. During my first (successful) legacy challenge, I turned off autonomy for over 400 interactions using MC Tuner because the whole thing drove me nuts. Stop playing games. Stop watching TV. Stop mixing drinks.

I was content with that for a while, but I noticed that when playing University, the dorm felt kind of… lifeless. My roommates talked to each other all day, which is what I wanted, but I also wanted it to feel like people actually lived there. I began work on a mod that would allow me to enable autonomy for certain actions without Sims obsessing over them. That became this mod: Better Autonomy.

The Bullet Point List

Short for time? Here’s what this mod does:

Alters Sims’ autonomous behavior, making them more likely to socialize and build skills rather than mindless actions that build fun

Less Chess, video game playing, and TV watching without having to disable autonomy for them entirely

Time limits on TV; Sims cannot endlessly watch TV and will be forced to exit out after an hour

More useful skill building; gardening, handiness, and cooking are prioritized
