I've never just done things to get treated nicely or rewarded, nor have I ever asked for either of those things from anyone. I admire what you do here, hence why I've followed since I found your blog. There's a lot I'm not ever going to understand, but following you and being friends with the people in this fandom I've chosen to be friends with and who have chosen me back has taught me a lot. Should I speak about racism more? Yes, so much. But I have spoken on it, enough where for several months I was getting incessant and constant death threats, people calling me a hypocrite for having been a book fan who has spoken out about AR's awfulness and the declining quality of the books as the series progressed, people telling me that I was a tryhard or being "woke" and I wasn't genuine, etc.

I'm not trying to change your mind, I wouldn't think that anything like this would, but I feel like a coward not defending myself to some degree. and maybe this will make everything worse idk. It's just hard logging on and seeing me getting shit-talked repeatedly on my home page when people with their 75k, 52k, 29k, 5k, etc. that got invited are just sliding on by. I have 850 followers on my instagram, a combined 400 on my twitters. I wasn't contacted by anyone over direct DMs or anything, like I saw at least two other people be, I just entered the contest. I really was just excited. I think me being a focus of this is a little misplaced and I'm trying to understand the hostility in my askbox because the death threats are back, this time for going to the premiere. like I'm about to turn anon off for the first time ever since I've had this dumb blog so at least someone will say they want me dead to my face. and this isn't as coherent or anything as I'd want it to be, I don't really know what to say. I've never had any intention of blocking you so idk where that assumption came from, but I don't want to have to see me being shit talked every time I open tumblr.

I'm pretty sure thelioncourts followed this account until earlier and of course nobody who wants to be seen as a good person is gonna block me now because I'd say something and they know it, but this is part of the ongoing issue. if ur only doing things when u get treated nicely and are rewarded then who tf needs u. I've never known thelioncourts to be outspoken about racism to any noticeable degree, istg idek what ppl are talking about. I don't remember seeing her on any psa and that's usually how u can tell who was pissing off white fandom the most. it's not a contest or a reward system or anything anyway but literally just stop making shit up too.
