always be capable of feeling deeply any injustice committed against anyone, anywhere in the world. This is the most beautiful quality in a revolutionary.

The Modern Day Effects of Imperialism
“What is imperialism? And why we should care”
So in this ever-changing world, we must ask ourselves, what is imperialism? The dictionary definition of imperialism is “a policy of extending a country's power and influence through neo-colonization, use of military force, sabotage, or other means.” We must now break down what this actually means, and how it affects us in the modern day world. Modern-day imperialism is perpetuated mainly by rich western countries, with help from the multinational companies situated within said countries, against developing or formerly colonized nations such as Cuba, Syria, Venezuela, and India.
In pursuit of newer and cheaper means of acquiring capital and labor, many western countries (many of whom capital already heavily influences indirectly) have taken it upon themselves to foist unjust military campaigns and clandestine sabotage operations in both the Middle East, The South Americas and Asia against democratically elected countries. Take for example in Venezuela, a country that has put into public ownership its education, healthcare, transportation, oil production, and many other assets. Within Venezuela, there is discontent stirred by the economic sabotage and blockade by America and its NATO lackeys. And as of 2017 the CIA has begun funding and arming right-wing insurrectionists against a democratically elected government and its supporters. This is what imperialism truly is today, the economic and political undermining of a free democratic country in pursuit of cheap labor and cheap resources, all in the name of capital.
In African countries, puppet governments are hoisted up into prominence to force pro-western and pro-imperial-capitalist legislature down the throats of the people. Any and all leaders who try to oppose this are violently murdered in US corporate interest, an example of this would be Muammar Gaddafi, the former leader of Libya, a man who the west has proclaimed a dictator, despite the fact he was put in power during a popular revolution of the people. Gaddafi, whose crime in the United States’ eyes was dropping the US dollar to sell oil, and getting rid of the International banks in Libya so that a national economy could flourish. This enraged the capitalists in both Wall Street and the United States Congress so much, that they fuelled various Islamic Jihadist groups in order to overthrow him, these groups would then go on to fight each other and kill many innocents who did not wish to be subject to their rule. Look at Libya now, no proper government, no peace for the common people, all that because the US could not stand to see their economic stranglehold of Libya fall.
So why does the West topple free and democratic societies? There is two simple answers, capital, and resources. Western governments are a puppet to western capital, in this, they are protecting the interests of multinational companies who in turn rape and pillage the resources and labor of countries such as India, the Philippines, Syria, and Libya. They do this to retain cheap resources and in turn gain more capital, it is a vicious cycle that has no end so long as the multinationals have something to commodify.
So how does this affect us? How does this affect people within the West? Well the increased resistance to imperialism be it from the Islamic groups such as Al Qaeda or communist groups such as the PKK or NPA, it is their pushback that affects us. It affects us when such groups finally figure out who is really oppressing them. As horrible as the World Trade Centre disaster was, it was a direct consequence of US Imperial involvement in the Middle East. The very men who flew the planes into the trade centre were also, years earlier, being trained by the United States Special Forces against the Soviet army! So in doing this, in trying to protect American imperial-capital influences, they cost hundreds of American lives and thousands more in the ensuing “War on Terror” which was a thinly veiled operation in order to invade and exploit Iraq, Afghanistan, and now Syria!
Imperialism ultimately benefits the multinational corporations at the expense of formerly colonized and developing countries. We are at a stage within society now, that we must look upon the effects of imperialism and realize that we (the working class within first world imperial countries) gain nothing out of this war of conquest, we are merely implicit in it due to the fact that we are not trying to stop it. Imperialism causes needless suffering and death, and it stunts the development of a country tenfold. It is with this that I implore you to think on this, to educate yourself on how imperialism both works and how it affects people in the third world.
The people of colonized and oppressed countries are our fellow proletarians, they are our brothers and sisters in struggle, and we must fight for all its worth to liberate them from the imperial-capitalist stranglehold which has enveloped their countries. The International Worker’s Struggle has no borders, it has no race or creed, and it only knows freedom and liberation from the influence of state capital. The workers of the world must unite and smash the old state machinery, the machinery that for so long has oppressed the international proletarian movement. We, the workers, labourers, and students, we are the future. And so we must secure the world for generations to come, for if humanity is to survive, it must do so outside the crumbling chains of imperialism!

A critique of the Left, Far-Right, And Neo-Liberalism
It seems like we are heading into troubled times indeed, as the left becomes more fragmented due to petty ideological infighting, the far-right is on the rise, and neo-liberal policy runs rampant. So let us examine how exactly we have arrived in this position, and consider some approaches that the working class can take to rectify the situation it has been backed into.
So I must first acknowledge the faults of our own side, today's modern left is so fragmented and weakened by petty ideological infighting that no alliance or common ground can be found among ourselves. Now some of this is caused by Capitalist psyops, but most of it comes to fruition of our own accord. So why does this happen? I'm just going to give you my views and thoughts on it.
The left fights over what was and what will be instead of focusing on what is currently going on around it, I constantly see Marxist Leninists and Trots arguing about the Soviet Union, I continually see communists and socialists who are all shades of red screeching over whether there will or won't be a state under communism. But in all honesty none of this matters, what matters is the here and now, and the here and now is that neo-nazism is on the rise, and capitalism is ravaging the planet's resources and exploiting its people.
All far-leftists have a common ground, and our common ground is that we all wish to see the destruction of capitalism, yet us leftists can't seem to wait for Babylon to fall before cutting each other's heads off. Capitalism is the bigger enemy, and we must begin to understand that, a united front is necessary, for if we don't unite we shall get nowhere and we shall continue to stagnate in a stew of bitter resentment towards our comrades. Sectarianism gets us nowhere, and we must extend this to all shades of both red and black, for wealth and privilege may well tremble should ever again the Black and Red unite.
Now I shall move on to a problem in which I thought I would never have to face in my lifetime. For I used to read about the horrific deeds of Nazis in old history books as a child, and I felt secure in my thoughts that no hateful ideology like that could ever gain traction again. Well, I now see that I was quite naive back then for in the year of 2017 we have seen a resurgence of white nationalism and hateful bigotry like no other, and it isn't just fringe groups anymore, it's full-on movements who have the backing of many people within positions of power in both this and many other countries.
These groups have rebranded themselves under many different names, but I'm going to focus on the most popular one of them which would be the "Alt-Right" Now with this rebranding, the centrists and center-right liberals refuse to call them out for what they actually are, they are neo-nazis without the shaved heads and Swastikas and they call for the exact same measures as the Ku Klux Klan and White Supremacist groups around the globe. They are a tool of capitalism, they ignore class analysis and use minorities as scapegoats for what problems capital causes. They focus on the destruction of minority groups and all those who ideologically oppose them, even so far as to commit acts of terrorism to achieve their political aims.
Yet it is only the communists and anarchists that actively fight against them both physically and ideologically. Liberals are content to sit back and legitimize nazism as a genuine political ideal, an Ideal that systematically slaughtered millions upon millions of people throughout the 20th century. They are not legitimizing a genuine political stance, what nazi-enablers are legitimizing is the genocide of minority groups and the outright banning of free speech, all in the apparent name of free speech! It is quite ironic that the downfall of free speech absolutism is the fact that allowing some forms of intolerant speech will cause the fall of tolerant speech.
So how do we fight against this? It is quite simple actually, we agitate against Nazis and their enablers, we fight tooth and nail both physically and ideologically against this stain upon humanity, we give no heed to those who would wish to hold us back with the false ideals of free speech absolutism, and we most definitely organize and arm ourselves for the defence of the people and for the defence of all minority groups who would suffer underneath the jackboot of Nazi thugs who have the sheer gall to show their faces within our communities.
And now we must talk of the failing neo-liberal scourge that has been wrought upon us by the capitalist class, despite the fact that neo-liberals want the government to mediate with and regulate monopolies, they have forgotten the very fact that the monopolies and corporate businesses have the government in their pockets, lining the bank accounts of political officials whilst giant corporations rape and pillage natural resources, exploit the people's labour, and force nation-states into an imperialist conquest for the explicit purposes of taking more from the conquered country, and for the thriving industry that is the military-industrial complex.
Neo-Liberals seem to forget that big business capital influences indirectly (But all the more efficiently) in stately matters, hence when they talk about the government intervening in some aspects, they simply forget that it is the capitalist class who have a leash around the countries' political officials. Neo-Liberalism is an ideology of fools, conjured by the capitalist class to sow the seeds of discord within both academic and working political circles, it is nothing but barefaced smoke and mirrors, in which people talk about change and moderate outcomes between the worker and big business, yet keep things stuck in the same old ways.
Neo-Liberalist thought needs to be stomped out and we must educate those who believe that class antagonisms can be reconciled through the state. The only way that the working class can begin to build a better world for ourselves is if we openly accept class struggle as we have in the past, we must view the capitalist class as something to be crushed and repressed, not as something to demand concessions off of. The capitalists are not all-mighty, they may sit in their ivory tower and command wealth through their vassals, but it is we who have the power to unite and break out chains.
The Proletariat are entering a new age, an age that whilst bringing turmoil also brings us a new chance to rectify what is wrong with this world, though we can only bring about a freer and more equal society if we stand up and fight for it. We cannot merely sit and stare, whilst we hope and dream for the world to change around us as we simultaneously not do anything at all. The Reformer dreams of a better world, whilst the Revolutionary builds it.

Surrounded on all fronts! The DPRK stands strong!
“Fight back against the jingoistic United States and its imperialist allies!”
From its very conception, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea has been a major target for US imperialism within the Asian continent, this is due to its strategic position close to the former Soviet Union and the People's Republic of China, as well as America's Policy of McCarthyism and anti-communist rhetoric. From the forced division of the Korean peninsula by the United States military and its puppets in the south, the DPRK was born. For many years it endured with help from both its eastern bloc allies and many other formerly colonized nations who also wished to resist the looming imperial threat.
After the forced division of the People's Republic of Korea by the American aggressors, the DPRK launched a campaign to regain their homeland which was wrongfully taken and exploited by the American invaders. This campaign was fruitful at first with the help of the People's Republic of China and the Soviet Union, but through foreign military intervention by the United States and its allies the campaign was brought to a grinding and bloody halt at the 38th parallel. Neither side had the strength left to continue fighting and a truce was brokered, over three million Koreans both north and south of the parallel died in this war. The truce is still in place today, and both sides arm themselves for the inevitable war that will once again rage should the United States ever try to challenge Korea’s sovereignty again.
After the fall of its many socialist allies, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea turned to a policy of Juche, or Self-Reliance as we should call it in English. Within a few years, the People's Republic had transformed itself into a new nation, a strong nation capable of defending itself from further imperialist invasions. Through its Sogun (Military first) Policy, its people learned how to defend themselves from foreign aggressors such as the United States and its puppet government within the south. It has revolutionized its towns and cities, and healthcare and literacy have been brought to all citizens of the DPRK. Its policy of Juche has been ever abundant in its quest to bring Socialist Korea up to first world standards despite the inhumane sanctions and looming threats of war that have been imposed upon it. The Korean people brought their country from a backwater Japanese colony to a nation which can truly call itself socialist and free.
The country began to develop nuclear technology as a way to deter the United States from invading their homeland, as of 2017 Korea has one hundred Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles and four nuclear warheads capable of striking at the heart of the imperial aggressor. This act of defiance in the face of the United States and its allies has put Korea in a position of renewed struggle with the capitalist-imperial nations. Though this advancement in the Korean Nuclear programme should not be viewed with fear, for it has been stated time and time again that the nuclear warheads are for the defence of Korea. Yet the American capitalist media and officials flaunt their own "Peaceful Nuclear Arsenal" whilst denouncing the Koreans as warmongers!
The American media decries the Korean state as hateful warmongering savages, hell-bent on "Conquering the world" yet the irony in this is all too apparent. America has been at war both officially and unofficially for 200 years, it has tried to oust foreign governments and prop up puppet governments in over 49 different countries across the globe in the span of 70 years. It has exploited resources from these countries relentlessly whilst threatening the native population with drone strikes and economic embargoes. Yet America has the sheer unmitigated gall to call the DPRK an aggressor and threat to world peace! Where is the outcry when the American military bombs civilian villages in Yemen, Afghanistan, Syria, and Vietnam? And where is the outcry when America uses chemical weapons to cripple an entire population and leave the children of that nation with crippling and life-threatening deformities?
The "unbiased" western news is not unbiased at all, it is a tool used by the imperialists to stir up hatred against nations who question their exploitative regime. This is shown most notably in the media's successful attempts to slander the DPRK as a "murderous prison state" whilst America has the largest incarceration and police brutality rate in the world! America and its NATO allies have wrought more destruction on the world than the DPRK ever has. It is time to wake up and finally realize the truth, the DPRK is not your enemy.
Though it is with a heavy heart I must admit that the propaganda machine of the imperialists has misguided many of the workers in the case of socialist Korea. We must fight this on every front, we must educate, agitate and organize for the critical defence of our Korean brothers and sisters. For Korea is a true workers nation and we must support them in their endeavours against the imperialists, for the proletarian revolution is international in its reach and spans every land upon this Earth. We must stand with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea against the tyranny of imperialism and organize against the imperialists.
미 제국주의에 맞서 싸우다 !
No war on the DPRK! Fight against US imperialist aggression worldwide!
