liek you have no idea how much i think about lily having to grow up and watch her siblings leave for college or just to live on their own or start careers. the age gap between her and the rest of them is pretty vast, and she has a lot of trouble relating to lisa, the closest one to her in the age order. she's still a kid when more than half of her siblings are adults with jobs. lori is basically the loch ness monster in terms of how often she sees her, which isn't much.

i think lisa would deal with it badly too. she isn't very introspective about how she feels and only notices something is wrong when it becomes too much to ignore, so i don't think she'd be able to properly cope with the Leaving Parade. she could cure cancer by age 6 but she'd still be lonely and confused without the courage to ask for help because she's supposed to be the smart one. head in hands do you get it do you understand

a thought i've had since i was a kid has just been the existential dread of being lily. every few years or so another person youve known for your whole life leaves. as she grows up the house gets emptier and emptier and she grows to dread being the last one left, the only kid in the empty loud house. like. she's gonna have some Attachment Issues™️

ok briefly while i'm on tlh i wanna say i am very worried for the kids on that live action loud house show. nickelodeon puts their child stars through a meat grinder and they've already done some really really questionable shit to the lincoln and clyde within the context of the show. i hope those kids are safe but i doubt it. just thinking about it for too long makes me feel ill
