This post is a few days late but uhhhh art fight year 2 is done, here’s some highlights:

I made 14 attacks this year, which is a little bit more than last year. I wanted to do more, but there was a week in July that I was out of town and couldn’t attack as much… might have lost momentum from that as well. I was also more experimental. The style of shading I used last year for everything wasn’t really working for me for some reason, so I branched out hoping something else would make me happy. In some cases it did, in other cases it did not. I shall learn. Anyways, it was super fun as always, I look forwards to next year.

Two ref sheets for artfight, because it’s on the horizon.

I’ve had this story in my head for several years now about a world of beings that live beyond the walls of our universe, likely in the 4th dimension (it’s also the reason why I have the 73 in my user). Their designs were originally very simple, your typical feral, four-legged creature, but that doesn’t really encapsulate the vibe of their world at all.

So now I’m slowly updating their designs in hopes that these new ones are more effective. They’re very abstract, and anatomy is completely thrown out the window, but I love it.
