I can imagine, especially since some people can be pretty clumsy and tend to not think when they do things, which leads to the whole medical attention part of their night. But hey, a life without risk is a life unlived I suppose.
Lawyers? Hm, are they from around here or did you move here for the hospital and the cute quaintness of this little town here? But it's great you're doing something to help people. I like to think I help people on occasion. Lending them an ear when they need someone to let out all their issues and what not. 'S not as helpful as being a nurse or anything.
True, I always love when something random walks through the doors because it’s usually rather entertaining.

Hm, well I’m not sure. I’ve always liked helping people but no most people in my family are lawyers and rather uptight.

Ah, makes sense for the older ones since they've probably seen the same thing a hundred times, wondering if this person will ever stop being a dingbat. But at least you got to see something new right?

Hey, you know, I never asked, but what made you want to be a nurse anyways? Was someone in your family a nurse, maybe a doctor, or something?
Sometimes, the older ones like to bitch a lot, the younger ones find it amusing, and challenging. I can’t say I’ve ever had to pull apart a kids hands from super glue before until tonight.

Do you and the other nurses ever just laugh about the dumb things people do that make them need medical attention? I feel like I would.

At least you’re fully aware of it. Well not necessarily, there was a kid that super glued his hands together and that as probably the highlight of my night.

I may be a 24 year old man and the owner of a bar, but hell, I'm one big sucker for puppies. They're just so tiny and the little kisses they give are the darnedest things. I love 'em.

One of the dogs at work gave birth today! Needless to say, the miracle of life is just as traumatizing to watch with dogs as it is with humans. Luckily, the puppies are adorable and that makes up for it for the most part. Look out for healthy German Shepard puppies at Petco in the near future!

I suppose not, considering I have the face I do and the smouldering eyes to match. But, anyways, Hallie the Nurse, how was your long shift? Any interesting patients?

That makes sense. I don’t even find where most girls find the time for it really but to each their own I suppose. I’m not sure if anyone would have a problem with you dressing up or down, so I think you’re set for life.

It's a shame things are that way. I don't think it should be one way or the other giving more tug or pull, but not even having to impress people. Natural is sexy, at least in my opinion. I dress up in my business casual on occasion because I want to look professional, and I just happen to like looking sleek, but I don't think a girl needs all that junk on her face to look sexy.

Well I’m sure some guys prefer the done up barbie look, but not all of them I suppose. Girls have a lot harder time impressing boys than the other way around, but that’s just the struggle called life.

I'd say my slightly dressed up, business casual look is the one that knocks people to the ground, or to my room, occasionally. Not that sex is my top priority in life, but you know. Anyways, I'm sure you look great with a messy ponytail and such. It's like the workout look, which guys love.
That sounds like quite a life you got there. I’m sure they’d go nuts either way.

You know, sometimes I don't do anything in the morning, just go downstairs to the bar at noon and open up the place. Some ladies go nuts for the mussed, messy hair and that "I woke up like this" look.

Well you can say that because you haven’t actually seen it. The hospital hallways are hardly a runway show, but sometimes it’s nice just throwing on a pair of scrubs since it’s easy, I don’t have to spend an hour getting ready for work.

Nah, I bet you still look great. Even if your hair is messy and you have blood on your shirt, you've still got the same face, and the same smile, even if your smile is fake by the end of your shift.

Well well well maybe they should take that into consideration, but I have to say when you’ve been running around the hospital for hours on end you hardly look pretty.

Well, that just seems unfair. You'd think the pretty ones would get good hours, too.

Unfortunately the newer nurses get stuck with the sucky hours, hence my sucky hours.

Tough nights at the hospital, huh? Why don't you take a day off or somethin'?

Nothing like pulling an all nighter 3 days in a row.
