"No! God...Sherlock! We must get inside!!”

Dr. John Watson fought against the impossibly strong ocean wind, the stairs of the Ardnamurchan lighthouse slick with rain and sea water. He hissed as the droplets pricked his skin, millions of icy needles spat down on from on high.

What was Sherlock saying? '*He had to know'*, the sound of the detective's voice was swept away by the wind and Watson could only imagine what was said.

"SHERLOCK!"

The massive tidal wave was going to bear down on the lighthouse any second, and Sherlock had not moved. John stared, his heart trapped in a frigid grip, his body telling him to run. To get as far away from that wall of abyss as he could. Run. RUN. RUN NOW!

The voices. Something dark, yet familiar whispered in Watson's ear, so clear above the howling wind. The voices made his shoulder and leg ache.

"I can't...I won't leave him..."

Pushing past the fear, Watson forced himself up the final stair and let the wind buffet him quickly to the railing beside his friend. He threw his arm around Sherlock's back, pinning the frantic man to the railing. Watson's scars screamed at him as he used every ounce of muscle he had to brace for impact, but he would not release, not when he could feel Sherlock's heartbeat against his own chest. He wouldn't let his dearest friend face such horror alone again.

"Sherlock! Hold...fast! We'll face it...together!!"

So….I like to think Watson made super sure that tidal wave didn’t take Sherlock out…since the game cuts out to the epilogue before we see what happens.
