Eva had taught herself how to replicate Shamrock shakes years ago. She didn’t actually need to go to McDonalds anymore once they were out of season (and while they were in season but it was a habit.) And she found herself going in there less and less as the years went on. She preferred cafes and diners but she was in one today, hoping today would be the day she liked their iced coffee, and yet when she looked through the order screen, under shakes was her drink. The shamrock shake, she ordered it without hesitation and with the biggest smile on her face she found a table to sit at to do what she always did write. But not for work, no she was filling her blog now. A way easier task than her work related articles. And it was a twitter based advice day. She only had twenty questions but she was eternally grateful for those questions.

Mateo had just got off shift and wanted to get a milkshake before he went home and went to bed for a while. He walked in and ordered a Shamrock shake. He backed up a little bit to let the others take their orders. He looked around the restaurant and saw a girl sitting down and drinking a Shamrock shake. mateo alexander jacobs was born to mateo torres and catherine valentine on august 4, 1996 in miami, florida. mateo and catherine were teenagers when young mateo was born and couldn’t provide for him like they would. mateo was then placed in foster care.

mateo was in foster care until he was eight years old. just about every year, he had to move to a different family. his last foster home, he was in for about six months. when they called him for a meeting with his case manager, he thought he was going to be moved again but it wasn’t what he thought. the family wanted to adopt mateo and give him a forever home. as soon as the adoption was final, the family moved to manhattan, ny to be closer to his father’s parents and location in job.

growing up, mateo was really active and involved with sports. his dream was to always be a firefighter. he got inspiration from his older brother who became a firefighter. he did whatever it took for him to be a firefighter which included visiting his brother’s department and learning things from his brother.

in school, mateo was one of the most popular guys in his grade. he was the quarterback of the football team and shooting guard of the basketball team. a scout saw him play football and offered him a full ride to university of miami. mateo declined the offer and graduated high school with honors. he attended a school to get his emt and joined the fire academy.

now, mateo lives in brooklyn but still has ties in manhattan since his family lives there. he is a firefighter and a emt-b, living his dream like he planned.

mateo is a good guy and will do anything to help his family and friends. he’s been known as a romantic but some relationships hasn’t worked out due to trust issues. mateo isn’t perfect and parties sometimes when he has downtime.
