Earlier on I posted about how I really rated new model Alexander Elizabeth Ljadov.  Apart from her powerful walk and amazing look, she managed to walk 67 catwalk shows across the autumn/ winter season.  This video shows some of her looks, as well as that terrific walk.  I predict massive things for her; I am thinking she’s the new Natasha Poly.

My favourite Models

So who are the models that I like the most?  Who stand head and shoulders above the rest, any why?

I adore Kate Moss, Snejana Onopka, Lara Stone, Anja Rubik, Natasha Poly, Anna Ewers, Erin O’Connor, Carmen Kass, Alexandra Elizabeth Ljadov, Sasha Pivovarova,Vlada Roslyakova, Doutzen Kroes, Amber Valletta, Anna Ewers and Eva Herzigova.  Quite a mix of old school supermodels and the newer stars of today and tomorrow.  Alexandra Elizabeth Ljadov is a particular standout for me.  I reckon her career is going to go stratospheric.  Her walk is better than just about any of the new crop of girls and her look is so strong.

The Model Report

So this is The Model Report, a blog I’ve created to talk about the element of the fascinating fashion industry that I find the most interesting: the models; the girls who bring the outfits to life; the women who sell fashion magazines; the clothes horses whose faces we see everywhere.  My personal favourite model of all time is Kate Moss, but she does less and less catwalk these days.  Who are the current stars of the runway?  This blog will talk about them all.
